Riku, after spending the entire Friday morning sleeping, woke up. He decided to take a tour of the school. To his fascination this school he had originally thought to be nothing more than five interlocking tall buildings, actually extended out, far out.
It had three main groups of buildings all at least four stories tall, with a track field roughly a thousand meters in length. Riku watched as students took turns sprinting and attempting different sporting exercises.
What caught his attention was the high dome-like structure to the furthest point of the back of the schoolyard. He was eager to check it out, however after seeing the thousand-meter field he would have to cross, Riku mentally omitted that from his thoughts.
Instead of finishing his tour, he decided to take a nap at the top of the nearest building he could find. Riku was intent on sleeping comfortably, all the time in prison and this was what he missed most.
After a few more hours of sleeping, he awoke to a heated debate between three students.
“Seriously! This is a four-man mission; the three of us can’t pull it off.”
“Yeah Dante, it’s obvious from a strategic point of view that we need at least four, but the mission is tonight.” This retort came from a long-haired beauty with a very small chest.
Sigh “I wished we didn’t spend our prep time at that holiday rave, but damned that party was awesome!” mixing his depression and nostalgia in one this student sighed.
Riku, barely seeing straight after he had risen from his slumber rubbed his eyes as he dubiously asked
“Who's making all this noise?”
Since Riku was not yet officially a student he was not wearing the school uniform instead he was casually dressed in his sweatpants and turtleneck black long sleeve shirt.
Upon looking at him the three students thought him to be a second-year student. This was mainly due to the fact that all the first and third-year students were either on holiday break or off on some mission especially at this time of year.
The girl with them suddenly became ecstatic since God had now dropped an angel in their laps.
“Hey! I’m Nakita Chong, we’re really happy you decided to help us on this mission of our”
Nakita didn’t leave him an inch to decline or say otherwise.
Helping her dig the coffin even deeper the other students jumped.
“Yes yes, thanks for coming along, you know we couldn’t pull this off without you.”
Damn these bratty students just pinned me in a corner, I don’t care if they are second-year or not there isn’t any way on God’s green earth I’m sacrificing my sleep for these strays… Riku thought irritatingly
“Well, if just being a good pal doesn’t interest you, there is always the reward that’s over two million for each of us.”
The other male student with flowing blue hair, poked Riku with his elbow as he raised his eyebrows convincingly at him.
Wait! Two million dollars? This must be a deadly mission or something….
“Now come on, I know what you’re thinking, but it’s a simple assassination just one guy we have to kill, and voila two million dollars richer.”
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
Well if it’s just one guy and I get two million it doesn’t sound half bad, and coming from prison I am dead broke. Not to mention the millions I already owe this school, I don’t have much of a choice…Riku finally persuaded himself.
“I’m in! Just fill me in on the plan”
For the rest of the evening, these four students went over their plans to eliminate a high-profile businessman. The layout for the plans was made by José Rafael the group self-proclaimed watch wolf.
A watch wolf’s role within a team would be a timekeeper or guardian for the team providing information that helps with forewarning or geographical information whichever was needed.
José was the loud and overly ambitious of the bunch. He had a slight Spanish accent as he spoke, but he had major skills when it came to manipulating a keyboard.
While Nakita, barely seventeen, was a petite American girl half the height of the average person. Riku wondered if this was the place for a teenager like her to be but none of the other group members questioned her reliability therefore he would never question it as the newcomer.
Her hair the entire time was simply cached up in one allowing only a few strands to cover her left eye; her slightly purple hair complimented her bright hazel eyes.
Meanwhile, Dante was the quiet observer he simply nodded as the plan was explained, any interruptions made by him had clear cut facts behind them and could be taken seriously. He was clearly working out the plan in his mind. His demeanor complimented his black jacket and white t-shirt that he wore.
After only a few hours of sleep, the hurriedly created team was ready to deploy. They were now out of the usual uniforms and were dressed for battle.
Dante was the most drastically changed of the bunch, he had changed into a full black suit, his neck and mouth were covered by a long black scarf. His hair had not changed however, it was still spiky while somehow stretching down to cover his deep black eyes.
Jose was the least changed of the bunch, he was still in his uniform. He hadn’t changed, and this was mainly because he was staying at the school to work the cameras and satellites on his computers.
Nakita still barely changed; the uniform she wore was the same uniform she would always wear, only with added knee pads, and a long dark green scarf. She had a huge black suitcase in her left arm as they were about to leave, her usual lively and inquiring behave suddenly seemed to have had a paradigm shift, she was now this silent type not speaking a syllable as she fixed her ammo pouches on her hips, and straightened her mini-dagger on her left thigh.
Assassin Academy was located in Bloomsbury London; its massive campus was mostly ignored by the city's hustle and bustle, when the three students left the campus in the school's owned van, not a single civilian paid them any attention.
The first person to drop off was Nakita. She was dropped off and headed to the top of a skyscraper to set up her little spot.
She pulled out her disassembled rifle to fit together, fixed her earphone, and reported to Jose at the school through her earpiece.
Her rifle was a long-range rifle, she called it the “Hell Cannon'' but in truth, it was a Hell's Canyon Long Range McMillan Ambush rifle, so that was the actual name she used as its nickname, but it was most fitting. It was a whopping eight pounds in weight but Nakita seemed to maneuver the weapon as though it was part of her own body, despite it being almost the same height as her. Its deep black shiny body along with a cold barrel complemented her personality.
After about fifteen minutes or so the last two finally arrived at the target location, it was a colossal glass building, more like a skyscraper.
The target for the mission was a multimillion-dollar man named Richard Nova after decades of underground human trafficking decided to cease ties with all his criminal cohorts and retire.
But they would certainly not allow it, they wouldn't kill him themselves since it would shine a bad light on the organization so they needed outside help. Moreover he was a very cautious man, therefore was always very overprotective.
This building he turned into his personal fortress. He had over 100 employees and 200 armed security guards.
The sign on the build wrote “Art Transformers” and was disguised as an art exchange and insurance company for the overly rich, but in reality, was used by drug lords and criminal organizations to launder billions of dollars yearly, his transformation to the legal side, however, cut ties with all these individuals making it fully legitimate.
With the ire of two criminal organizations it was only a matter of time before a bounty was put on Mr Nova’s head.
Riku was forced to the top of a neighboring building and had to slide down a cable over one hundred meters before landing on the top of the target building.
Meanwhile, Dante with his full black samurai sword and pouches around his waist stepped through the front door of the building as though it was just a casual stroll. Riku loaded his weapon, fixed his ammo belts, and took a deep breath as he stood behind the door on the roof to enter the building.
