In a back alley, Todd was walking. "Hey, you guys! I know you're there. Did you do what I asked?" He shouted.
No one answered, only a kick to his stomach, throwing him against the wall.
Cough! Cough!
Todd spat blood and said angrily, "What are you doing, you idiots?"
The boss of the men, to whom Todd made the request, grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. "You didn't tell us you had a Rank A adventurer protecting that girl," he exclaimed, furious.
They were all beaten up. The boss had a broken arm and several bruises on his body.
"Because of you, we went through this huge humiliation," said the boss.
"R-rank A, how can a city like this have a Rank A person?" Todd asked, perplexed.
"It's Zyra... you don't know her? You idiot!" the boss exclaimed.
"Zyra? She's Rank A?" Todd was shocked by what he heard. If his father found out that he had annoyed a Rank A adventurer, he would be dead.
"I-it can't be... that woman, a Rank A adventurer? How did I not know?" Todd shouted still in shock.
"Of course, you don't know, you're useless and do nothing but eat and harass women!"
"Nothing to do with you, you can take your gold and disappear, if you weren't someone important's son... I would have killed you right here," said the boss with a look of disgust.
Todd ran away and was sweating nervously.
When he got home, one of the maids called him, "Young master, your father is waiting for you in the office," she said.
Todd nodded and headed to his father's office.
Arriving at the office, Todd knocked on the door and entered, "F-father, why did you call me here?" Todd asked.
Todd's father approached him and put one of his hands on Todd's shoulder, "Do you know who came to see me today, my son?" Todd's father said. "N-no, daddy..." Todd swallowed nervously.
"An adventurer of Rank A, isn't it incredible? An adventurer of Rank A, doing business with me," Todd's father said.
"Wow... that's great, Dad," Todd said, forcing a smile.
Todd's father's face darkened and he slapped Todd in the face.
"She came to see me because of you causing problems... hiring mercenary assassins to take a little girl? And even saying it was a request from me? Have you really gone mad..." Todd's father said.
"Dad, that's a lie... it was set up for me," Todd said, then fell to his knees on the floor.
"You still have the courage to say it's a lie... I investigated it myself, you fool. From now on, you are no longer my son, disappear from this house and never come back!" Todd's father said, trying to keep his calm.
Todd knelt on the ground, trying to apologize, but his father didn't listen. Then, two guards entered the room and began to drag Todd out. "You can't do this! I am your young master, how dare you!" he exclaimed angrily, but the guards didn't even pay attention.
At the guild, Lilian continued to wait for Zyra to return. Several hours had passed, and she was starting to get worried.

Keito, seeing that Lilian was worried, said, "You don't have to worry about Zyra, she's strong enough to handle something simple like this."
Lilian stared at Keito for a while, but nodded at his words.
Some time later, Zyra returned to the guild, "Alright, those men won't bother you anymore and neither will that fat guy," she said.
Lilian was perplexed by what Zyra had said, "Did she deal with them already? And with that fat guy too..." she thought.
BAM!
With a loud bang, the guild door was thrown open by a woman.
The woman who entered the guild was clearly in a state of shock. Her eyes were wide and her body trembled as she tried to speak. After a few moments, she finally managed to form coherent words and began to recount what had happened.
She said she was walking on a road near the city when she saw something moving in the forest. Curious, she approached to see what it was. She described how her heart raced and her breath became difficult when she realized she was facing such a terrifying creature.
The woman continued to speak, her voice trembling and her eyes filled with fear. "I had never seen anything like it before," she said. "The smell was so strong that I could barely breathe. And then I saw it. The butcher zombie."
She shuddered as she mentioned the creature's name. "It was huge. Its skin was covered in open wounds and decay. Its red eyes were lifeless, but still seemed to be devouring me. I have never been so scared in my life."
The woman paused, taking a deep breath before continuing. "It was eating something, but I couldn't identify what it was. I could only see the guts spreading on the ground as it ate. I knew I had to get out of there, but my legs wouldn't obey me. I was paralyzed by fear."
She closed her eyes for a moment before continuing. "I finally managed to move and ran back to town as fast as I could. I knew I had to warn people about what I had seen. The butcher zombie is out there." The woman was now trembling, on the verge of tears.
Lilian was perplexed by the woman's words. She had never heard of a the butcher zombie before, but the description of the creature was scary enough to make her believe that it was not good.
Before Lilian could ask anything about the butcher zombie, Zyra stood up with a horrible expression.
As if she knew what Zyra was thinking, Liza immediately said, "Zyra, the guild master is waiting for you."
Zyra immediately went up the stairs to the guild master's room.
The guild was completely dark, and there was no more lively atmosphere. Curious, Lilian went to Liza to see what information she could get about the flesh-eating zombie and why it had made everyone so strange. "Liza, what is a the butcher zombie?" Lilian asked.
Liza looked at Lilian's cute face and warned her, "Lilian, there are things in this world that, if you are not strong enough, it is better not to know. But as I know you and know that you would not act recklessly, I can tell you a little about the information we have about the butcher zombie."
Seeing Lilian's bright eyes, she continued: "I have something that might interest you, it's the account of a person who survived the butcher zombie," and handed her a small, dusty scroll.
Lilian took the scroll, sat down, and began to read.
"I will never forget what I saw that night. The air was thick with the smell of decay and decomposing flesh. I was walking through the empty city, searching for supplies when I saw it. the butcher zombie."
He was standing in front of me, on a deserted street, looking like he was waiting for something. His eyes were red and lifeless, but seemed to stare at me with an intensity that made me tremble. His face was deformed, resembling a humanoid butcher. His huge hands held a knife, and I knew he was waiting to use it on someone.
I tried to run, but he was faster than I imagined. I ran through streets and alleys, but he seemed to always be there, relentlessly chasing me. His heavy footsteps echoed in my mind, and I knew I wouldn't last much longer. He was too strong, his flesh too tough. His supernatural abilities made him almost immortal.
Finally, I found an abandoned building and hid there. I could hear the butcher zombie searching for me outside, sniffing my scent. I trembled with fear, knowing it could be my last night on earth. But then, the scariest thing happened.
I could feel his presence inside the building. He had entered. His heavy footsteps echoed in the hallway, his labored and unpleasant breathing suffocating me. I knew I was cornered, and that my time had come.
But then, something unexpected happened. The butcher zombie slowly backed away, his presence gradually dissipating. I didn't know what had happened, but I knew I was alive because of it. I left that building, fleeing the scene, and since then I have been trying to understand what happened that night.
What I saw was horrible, terrifying, and grotesque. I will never forget those lifeless red eyes and pale, blotchy skin. I know that the butcher zombie is out there, and that he could return at any moment. But now, I know how to survive.
After Lilian finished reading, Liza appeared: "Well, how he survived, nobody knows, and we don't have much information about this zombie. We only know that he is possibly an intelligent zombie, which already makes him a rank A threat. Maybe other cities have information about his abilities, but none have shared it with us," she said.
