"Ugh... I'm almost out of mana... I hope this doesn't last long", Lilian muttered.
Feeling all those blood swords in his body, the goblin zombie king came out of the illusion and realized that Lilian was still standing and in one piece.
Rooarr!
He roared with rage and broke sword by sword, when there was only one left he picked it up and threw it at Lilian with all his might.
Lilian quickly reacted and stopped the sword when it was very close to her face, then she directed the sword again at the goblin zombie king and threw it in his direction.
The sword landed right in the goblin zombie king's chest. Furious, he came running towards Lilian, who could not think of a way to escape, because she was already out of mana.
The goblin zombie king came and kicked Lilian in the stomach who was thrown and hit a nearby tree.
"Cof! Cof! Damn...", muttered Lilian as she looked at the goblin zombie king.

For Lilian this was probably her end, the goblin zombie king was slowly coming towards her.
[Hp: 32/350...
He was getting closer and closer, every second seemed like an eternity to Lilian.
[Hp: 13/350...
When he got in front of Lilian, he raised his fist with the intention of crushing Lilian right there.
[Hp: 0/350...
BOOM!
A thud could be heard, however, it was not the zombie goblin king's punch.
It was him lying dead on the ground.
"W-What? Sigh... He must have been badly injured from the previous attacks...", Lilian sighed with relief as she saw the corpse of the goblin zombie king.

"The greater the danger, the greater the reward...", Lilian thought, looking at her system.
Lilian was all bloody lying on the ground looking at the body of the goblin zombie king.
"What should I take as proof that I completed the mission? There's not much left of the zombie goblins...", said Lilian to herself.
She limped up and walked over to the zombie goblin king, "Ugh... I think I can take this crown, even without proof from the other goblins it should be enough", Lilian thought.
Lilian took the crown of bones and her sword, then went to Odin who was watching from afar, "Hey buddy, let's go back", said Lilian and Odin came to her.
Then they took the road back to the city. On the way nothing much happened, Lilian was being very cautious and with the zombie blood all over her body, she disguised her smell to the other animals.
A few minutes later Lilian reached the city gate.
"I'm back", Lilian said, catching the guard's attention.
The guard quickly turned around and saw Lilian, "Wow... What happened? Did you take a blood bath again?", said the guard with a smile.
"Haha... Very funny", Lilian said and walked into town.
Lilian went straight to the guild. Arriving there she went to the reception desk and called Liza, "I completed the mission", she said.
"Uh? Alright, did you bring anything as proof?", Liza asked.
"Yes, here", Lilian replied as she put on the goblin zombie king's bone crown.
"Wait! Where did you get this?", asked Liza.
"One of the goblins that was in that group had that", replied Lilian.
"A goblin zombie king was in that group? But how... No one warned about it", Liza was puzzled.
"He appeared after I had killed all the other goblins", Lilian answered.
"I see... so he must be the one who was ordering the other goblins around, normally zombies don't stay together, they don't have enough intelligence to do that, However when you have another intelligent zombie or one with leadership skills, or command it is possible", explained Liza.
"So that goblin zombie king was an intelligent zombie?", asked Lilian.
"Not necessarily, so like I said if he has an ability that allows him to lead or command others, he can create a group";
"And honestly, you have people who don't see an intelligent zombie in their entire life, and the ones they do see hardly ever come back alive to tell the others", said Liza.
"Are intelligent zombies really that terrible?", asked Lilian curiously.
"Terrible is understatement for them, imagine it like this, a zombie that has full control of its system, can control its evolutions, train and learn new skills";
"Usually cases of intelligent zombies appearing are only when very powerful people turn into zombies, and it takes a very strong mind not to be consumed by a zombie's desires and get lost in hunger", explained Liza seriously.
"Eh... okay, the goblin zombie king is not considered a high-level zombie, but since it turned out to be a slightly more difficult mission, I'll give you a better reward", Liza said.
"What's the difference from a high-level zombie, to an ordinary strong zombie? I fought them both, and their strength was pretty similar...I didn't see anything special", said Lilian.
"The difference is that an ordinary zombie, like the goblin zombie king can appear more than one of the same types, the only thing that would have to happen is for a goblin king to turn into a zombie";
"High-level zombies, on the other hand, are totally unpredictable, you never know what they're going to look like and what abilities they'll have or what their evolution provides for them", Liza explained.
"But the two zombies had similar levels, why was one considered high level and the other not?", asked Lilian, confused, some things still didn't make sense to her.
"Probably the goblin zombie king had been a high-level goblin king before he transformed, so he had no chance to get a random evolution from the system, but the other zombie probably evolved from a low level to the current level, and then the system gave him a random evolution making him a high-level zombie", explained Liza.
"So the goblin zombie king would have become a high-level zombie when he evolved?", questioned Lilian.
"Exactly, maybe the evolution he would gain has already appeared once... or the system would give him an evolution never seen before", said Liza.
Lilian was very pleased with some of her questions answered.
