As they arrived at the cabin restaurant, which was perfectly themed to match the rustic setting, Tina strode up to the receptionist at the entrance with an air of entitlement.

"Hello, whatever your name is," Tina said dismissively, her tone rude and condescending. Annie felt her blood boil at the treatment of the staff.
Annie's mind: I REALLY hate brats who mistreat employees who did nothing wrong...
Bell: I know, right? You should do something about this.
Annie sighed inwardly. I can't... She's the one who paid for the whole thing... I'm just a guest at this point, so I'm not doing anything. I'll just hold back and try to enjoy this. Besides, it's a vacation, and I don't want to start any drama.
She watched as Tina continued to berate the waiter.
Tina: "Look here, waiter boy... WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE'S NO RESERVATION?! MY SERVANTS OBVIOUSLY BOOKED US A RESERVATION HERE!!" Tina snapped, her voice rising in frustration.
The waiter, visibly tired and annoyed, tried to remain professional. "Ma'am, for the third time, the restaurant is closed and out of business. But if you're really that hungry, there's a supermarket nearby where you can buy food and cook your own."
Tina, feeling disrespected, let out an annoyed huff as a pink, dark aura seemed to emanate from her. Clark quickly placed a hand on her shoulder, silently urging her to stop.
Tina: "I'll leave a two-star review for this campsite... Just you wait and see..." she huffed, flipping her hair as she led the group to a nearby table.
Rose clutched her stomach, clearly feeling the pangs of hunger. "What should we do? The only thing I know how to cook is candy!" she exclaimed, looking worried.
Michael groaned, "Don't tell me we're fasting... I just fasted yesterday!"
Annie, suddenly remembering her cooking skills, spoke up. "Maybe we should follow the waiter's advice and make our own food..."
Tina scoffed, her tone dripping with disdain. "How can we? Our servants and chefs are back home. We can't just bring them here. And if you're suggesting we cook for ourselves, that's not happening because we're high elite people, unlike you."
Annie clenched her fists, her knuckles turning white. "Good luck starving," she muttered under her breath before storming back to the cabin. As she returned, her stomach growled, echoing Bell's own hunger.
Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.
Bell: "Feed me already!"
Annie rummaged through her bag, pulling out some frozen pizza. She heated up two slices, enjoying the warm, albeit processed, food. As she ate, she overheard Rose and Tina arguing nearby.
Tina: "Besides, eating makes you fat!"
Rose, visibly frustrated, retorted, "I don't care! I'm hungry!"
Tina dismissed Rose's complaints, focusing on her phone instead. Rose, realizing that arguing was pointless, gave up. Annie felt a pang of sympathy for Rose, who was clearly struggling.
Bell: "Hey, you should share your food with her... The poor rich girl is starving."
Annie's mind: I know, but if I share, Tina might take all my food...
Bell: Isn't she your friend?
Annie's mind: Fine! I will! Since you're so persistent!
With a sigh, Annie pulled out some peanut butter and bread from her bag. She approached Rose, offering her a piece.
Annie: "Hey... I know you're hungry. I packed a few snacks." She handed the bread to Rose.
Rose's eyes lit up with gratitude. "Oh my gosh, thank you!" She quickly devoured the bread, savoring every bite. Despite being just one piece, it seemed to lift her spirits significantly.
Rose: "Thank you so much, Annie!" she exclaimed, hugging Annie warmly. Annie felt a warmth spread through her, appreciating the simple joy of helping a friend.
Just then, the boys entered the girls' cabin.
John: "We're going to the supervisor's office. You guys coming?" he asked. The boys, older and more confident, didn't care much about Tina's opinions.
Annie and Rose exchanged glances, silently agreeing.
Rose: "I'm down," she said, grabbing Annie's hand before she could respond, pulling her along.
As the group headed out, Michael suddenly spotted Tina approaching. Not wanting her to find out their plan, he quickly pushed everyone into a nearby bush.
Annie: "What the hell—"
Michael covered her mouth with his large hand. "Tina... is on our tail!" he whispered urgently.
John peeked out. "She's gone, guys. Quick!"
The group hurriedly made their way to the dragon stables. Clark commanded the dragon, and it soared into the sky. The ride was short, just a couple of minutes, before Rose spotted a mini convenience store nearby.
Rose: "Over there!"
The dragon landed, and Clark guided it to a safe spot. The group rushed into the store, grabbing as much food as they could. They bought $180 worth of groceries and quickly returned to the campsite, hiding the food in the boys' cabin. They finished just in time as Tina entered the boys' cabin.
Tina: "Why are you all here?" she asked, her eyes narrowing suspiciously. Rose and Annie pretended to be engrossed in their phones.
Rose: "It's just hotter here..." she lied, hoping to avoid suspicion. Tina seemed to buy the excuse.
Tina: "Whatever... You guys have five minutes before we do some activities in this dump." With that, she left.
The group let out a collective sigh of relief, grateful that Tina hadn't caught on.
John: "I'm starving..." he said, his stomach growling.
Clark: "We can't cook anything. We only have five minutes..."
Annie quickly thought of a solution. She pulled out the pizza and bread with peanut butter from her bag.
Annie: "Here, it's not much, but it'll hold us over for a couple of hours." She handed out the food to the group.
Their eyes lit up with gratitude as they quickly ate, savoring the simple meal. Even though it was just a small snack, it felt like a feast shared among friends, filled with laughter and relief.
