gently worked on Annie's eyes. Thankfully, the ink incident hadn't caused any serious damage. Once Annie's vision was restored, she and Grace headed to Annie's locker so she could gather her things and go home.

Grace: "Who would do something like this? You don't deserve it at all..."

Grace's voice was a mix of sympathy and frustration as she helped Annie carry her books.

Annie chuckled softly, though the sound was tinged with a hint of bitterness.

Annie: "I've been through worse... But whoever did it was a real jerk."

As Annie reached for the locker handle, Bell suddenly shouted.

Bell: "GET AWAY FROM THAT—"

Before Annie could react, a massive explosion of elephant toothpaste erupted from her locker, covering her in a frothy, colorful mess. The sudden burst startled nearby students, causing several to slip and fall, bumping their heads and bruising their butts. The hallway was in chaos.

Ms. Mell, who had rushed over at the commotion, slipped on the slippery floor, barely catching herself.

Ms. Mell: "What in the world?! NOW THIS?!"

She exclaimed, eyes wide as she took in the mess.

Annie, covered head to toe in the foamy substance, raised her hands defensively.

Annie: "It wasn't me..."

She insisted, her voice a mix of indignation and disbelief.

Ms. Mell: "I know that, Annie. But who would do this to you? You've done nothing wrong!"

Ms. Mell's voice softened, a mix of concern and anger evident. She clenched her fists, determination flashing in her eyes.

Ms. Mell: "I swear I'll find out who did this and make them pay. One week of detention and a call to their parents—no exceptions."

Her voice was firm, anger simmering beneath her calm exterior. Nearby, Glenn overheard the exchange and felt a sinking feeling in her stomach as she thought of Sophie and Levi.

Glenn (thinking): "Damn it... Both of them are in trouble..."

Glenn muttered under her breath, her eyes narrowing as she spotted Sophie and Levi in the library, engaged in a contest to see who could finish their book the fastest. Without hesitation, she grabbed them both and dragged them to a secluded area.

Glenn: "YOU TWO HAVE GONE TOO FAR! FIRST, YOU DRAGGED ANNIE INTO YOUR CHILDISH RIVALRY FOR NO GOOD REASON! THEN YOU HUMILIATED HER AND CAUSED A MESS THAT HURT OTHER STUDENTS! THIS IS NOT A GAME!"

Glenn's voice was filled with fury, her eyes blazing with righteous anger as she scolded them.

Levi, however, merely rolled his eyes, his tone dismissive.

Levi: "You don't understand, Glenn. It's tough being in a tie..."

He said, clearly irritated by Glenn's outburst. Sophie, on the other hand, looked at Glenn with a smug expression.

Sophie: "You're not as smart as us, Glenn. You don't care about your studies or your future like we do. So don't lecture us as if you know anything because news flash—you don't."

Sophie's tone was dripping with arrogance and superiority. Glenn clenched her fists, feeling a mix of betrayal and frustration boiling inside her.

Glenn: "LISTEN HERE, YOU SMART ASSHOLES! I MAY NOT BE AS SMART AS THE TWO OF YOU, AND I MAY NOT STUDY HARD OR STAY UP ALL NIGHT TO PERFECT MY PROJECTS! BUT I KNOW THAT DRAGGING INNOCENT PEOPLE INTO YOUR PETTY GAMES AND MAKING THEM VICTIMS IS WRONG! BUT WHATEVER! I'VE TRIED TALKING TO YOUR THICK SKULLS! AND JUST SO YOU KNOW, AFTER A WEEK, YOUR PARENTS WILL BE CALLED, AND YOU'LL GET WHAT YOU DESERVE!"

Glenn shouted, her voice shaking with anger and hurt. She turned and stormed off, leaving Sophie and Levi standing there, still unrepentant.

Back to Annie, she was getting on her jet to head home. Bell hovered beside her, still upset about the day's events.

Bell: "I should have been faster... But whoever did this is an asshole!"

Bell muttered, her small wings fluttering angrily. Annie, however, tried to stay positive.

Annie (thinking): "It's honestly fine... Besides, look on the bright side. We're going to town with the motorcycle Mom got us, and maybe have a little food trip..."

Annie's thoughts were filled with optimism, trying to brush off the negative events of the day.

Bell sighed, her voice tinged with frustration.

Bell: "You can't just be all positive about this, Annie! You need to be angry, you know?"

Annie's mind: "If I get angry, nothing will change... So what's the point? Besides, Mom always says, 'What goes around comes around.'"

Bell huffed, clearly not satisfied with Annie's response. The jet landed, and Annie stepped off, her resolve firm. She headed home, where she quickly changed into more comfortable clothes and set about cleaning the house. After finishing her chores, she changed into something more fitting for a ride and headed out to the motorcycle.
