Chapter 7: My Hero

Before Clint's father was a farmer, he was a local hero that was conscripted to fight for his lord. His mother told him of how much the people adored him due to his good and principled nature. He was wise beyond his relatively young years. Even some of the elders would come to him for advice.

Every battle Clint Senior made a name for himself and his lord recognized him. It's been said the lord asked him what he wanted as a reward to show his generosity. Clint Senior asked for a small parcel of land to farm on and a title.
