Aubrey recalled that Clint contemplated heading to a certain establishment called Garmult's House of Mastery. If there was anywhere to gain strength for the journey ahead it sounded like a start. The Rot of Moander that threatened her home and possibly the world needed to be stopped. She knew she didn't have the power currently to make a difference yet. Aubrey prayed for guidence from The Moon Maiden to find the strength to help herself.

The potential sites, two in particular, stood out to her: Yulash and Westgate. Though neither were practical to visit for the time being. They were located miles to the far west. Aubrey instead prepared to continue her pilgrimage to Balder's Gate in the hope of working towards the second of her two goals to obtain that edge she needed. Aubrey admittedly though was tempted by some of the nifty things she'd picked-up in the market and those pastries from Harbreeze Bakery, she'll definitely need to get some more of those too. With that settled Aubrey left Berogaust the following morning on her way to Balder's Gate. She came across many a travelers and merchants one of which allowed her to hitch a ride in the back of a open topped wagon filled with goods heading in the same direction.

After passing through the Basilisk Gate, Aubrey was again taken a back. She considered Beregost to be a large city compared to her small, admittedly remote village which meant that Balder's Gate was always a lot for her to try and navigate. Luckily she finds the entrance of the acclaimed House of Mastery. Aubrey parts ways with the amiable and generous merchant and enters.

She didn’t see anyone at first when she checked the main lobby and front desk that had an out of order machine. There was a sign that said: "Be Back In 15 minutes, lunch break." As if by divine coincidence, Aubrey gives a slight sigh of relief at seeing the familiar silhouette of Clint the Western Cobra member of the Agents of Candlekeep.

He was observing two fighters training and having a quiet chat with a githzerai. The gith in general were a rare sight they usually kept to themselves and seldom mixed with outsiders. Most likely a monk, based on his appearance and the fighting style employed by the two combatants working under his watchful eye. She couldn’t help, but notice the monks sparing in a similar style of combat as to another one of her companions.

She noticed the Githerazi walk off to the side and took the opportunity to greet Clint.
