"Kokoharu..."
"Hm? What is it Goberin? Are you interested in becoming a Dark mage?"
"Oh, huh? N-No, just the name... It's almost as if-" He then stopped himself and looked at Troy before putting his hand to his chin and think for a bit. "W-Well anyways... Your party sure sounded like a lot of fun"
"Hmm, actually. Goberin, you kinda reminded me a lot about Kokoharu..."
"Ma-Maybe you remembered her wrong? Since it was a long time ago, right?"
"Yeah... I guess you're right but I do normally go visit her..."
"C-Can we go back to your story? I want to hear about you and your party slayed the Inferno Magma Dragon!" Goberin's eyes then fills with anticipation.
"Hehe, well we've been on a lot of adventures together. And like I said, it was on a hot summers day when we just finished clearing a dungeon..."
---
We were resting at a nearby lake. Helen and Kokoharu was in the river cleaning each other's body. Hector was at the camp, sharpening his double headed battle axe. Meanwhile I was on the lookout for monsters, I was definitely NOT checking out or flirting with some nearby Dryads and Water Nymphs! But when I was on guard duty, I would always be more serious and vigilant even when I was doing some other things.
"Hihihi~ So you were able to tamed a Minotaur?"
"That's right ladies! See my biceps?"
"My my~ How strong you are!~ Come on in and okay with us~"
"Hehehe~ The water's fine hotty~"
"Sadly but I'm on watch duty and I can't easily be fooled like that, thanks for the invitation though! Maybe a rain check?"
"Sure~"
"It's time for me to go now, I can feel the princess calling me!"

"The fairy princess, right?"
"Yes, she's the next heir to the throne! You were entertaining, human Troy! Might I come again and you could treat me to those massage lessons of yours that you'd offered, tata~"
"Hehe, of course! I will be waiting for that"
*leaves rustling* *chirp* *chirp* *chirp!*
"Hm? What is it my friend?... Ah, trouble I see"
*grounds grumbling and shaking*
"Hm? Shit! A dragon is heading our way!"
"Dive sisters dive!"
"Hehehe, til we meet again Troy~"
*sniff* *sniff*
"Smells like something I would try to make without Helen's help"
"Troy..."
"Huh?"
"I can't assist you with this but do be safe~ And if you think that you can't wi-"
"Thank you but that's all I need! Now, get back to your kingdom and your princess!"
"I have faith in your victory or rather... your safety."
I got ready as the Dryad left with Rachel by my side. I could easily take down anything... but a dragon alone? Pftts yeah no shot there, I was glad the younger me understood that as well.
I ran back to the camp and warned everyone the immediate danger.
"Yo Troy! Did ya have fun with Dryads again?"
"Hector! A dragon is coming!"
With that Hector then rised to his feet and his face went serious as he took up my position and went to where I was while I went to warn the girls.
The girls just finished bathing and was now using some low tier Wind and Fire magic to dry themselves off and was having a little chat.
"So have you and Troy done it yet?"
"W-What? O-Of course not... yet at least"
"Well, you better hurry because I heard that he's been going at it with every women he sees"
"I-I know that... But I'm more of a romantic person~"
"Ohh? Hehe, maaaaybe I could set it up for you guys"
"Y-You would really do that?"
"Of course I would!"
"T-Thanks~"
I couldn't quite hear what they were saying since I was more worried about the Dragon coming.
"GIRLSS!"
"Huh?"
"What the!" Helen then covered her private area up. "Troy! You weren't supposed to be here! Didn't you promise not to watch us bathe! Or did you watch us this whole time!"
"Umm... Helen? I think it's not that..."
"What are you saying Kokoharu! Were you not-"
"It's a Dragon, probably A tier or higher coming this way"
"O-Oh, alright then! Kokoharu, let's get our clothes!"
"Sure..."
The three of us got back, I was outside of the tent watching out for dangers while the two of them dressed back up. Hector ran back to me with the information and this is when I knew that it wasn't just a normal Fire Dragon.
"Hey, Troy!"
"How was your scouting, Hector? Was it bad?"
"*Gulp* You don't have any idea what's coming our way..."
"Is it an Ember? They're not hard when alone"
(Ember: Meaning a Fire Dragon that's far away from their group and all alone)
"N-No, it's way worse! I-I-It's... an Obsidian! But gladly for us that the lava on its back is all cooled down"
When I first heard that word, my heart started to race as I grabbed my chest to keep my heart from pounding.
"A-An Obsidian?"
"Y-Yes, a weak one at that. I had a feeling that it's the same one from on the quest board"
"..."
"D-Do you think we could do it? It's risky when we don't have any other parties to fight alongside us..."
I knew... that an Obsidian is hard to slay with a party of only 4 people. And we were only B-rank at the time yet I felt like I or maybe we could do it.
"Call the others, there's no time to let one roam free like that!"
"Understood, leader!"
