*Clink!* *Clank!*
Sounds of wooden swords clashing against each other can be heard throughout the forest.
"Whoa there! Slow and steady now! You can't blindly swing your sword around like that! Your aim is even worse than my grandma!"
"*Panting* Haa haa... Why is this... So hard! Hiyaa!"
*Bonk*
Troy stepped aside and hit Goberin gently with the hilt of his sword.
"O-Ouch! H-Hey! Could you be a little gentle? A-And could you... *Panting* like yell out your attack beforehand?"
"*Sigh* Listen closely Goberin. Say, in a battle to the death against someone or something, do you yell out your attack?"
"Err... I guess no?"
"Indeed! Why would you give away your position AND your techniques beforehand! They could easily outmaneuver you and counter your attacks! And you have to dodge or block! You just can't swing your sword like that with no forms or techniques!"
"I-I know! I- er... just need to learn when to step in and when not to, right?"
"Ding ding ding! You got it right! You're a smart goblin, I'll say that much!"
"Hehe, thanks! But like, how could you even hold that big sword with just one hand anyway?"
"See these puppies? You just have to train everyday to have muscles like mine... *flex*"
"Sounds like a real pain honestly... Is there any easier way to like... you know *panting* speed up the process?"
"As far as I know... No."
"*Sigh* THIS ISN'T HOW I IMAGINE THAT MY SECOND LIFE IN THIS WORLD WOULD TURN OUT LIKE THISSSSSSS!!!"

*Bird noises and leaves rustling*
"*chuckle* You sure say some weird things, kid!"
"Well I er..."
"Listen, this isn't your run-of-the-mill Goblin village out in the stick... From today forth, we'll be going on an adventure together!"
"Wow, re-really?"
"You betcha! I was tired of trying to be a merchant for some time, so lucky for you that I'll be heading back to my old adventuring life style!"
"Wh-Whoa! S-So you're a veteran?"
"I'm an S-rank Swordsman!"
"I-Is there what you called a Guild here?"
"There are but only 2 branches of Guild: the Adventurer's Guild and the Merchant's Guild. You seem very knowledgeable for a goblin who's stay in the village a lot..."
"We-Well, I've heard of it from some travelers resting nearby our tribe when I was on guard duty!"
"Ha! That's explained it, I was thinking of doing a bit of dungeon diving or exploring labyrinths and ruins but those are dangerous when you don't have the necessary skills or knowledge to keep yourself safe"
"Awww, really?"
"Don't worry, maybe someday we will go together! And call me master Troy, you don't need to say my full name Dragon Slayer Troy because I'm starting to get sick and tired of everyone calling me that"
"Did you slay a fearsome and ferocious dragon to earn that title?"
"Yes I did in fact... Dragons are one of the most dangerous creatures to ever live and it's said that it has soared the skies, conquering the heaven since ancient time"
"Wow~ So which one's the strongest?"
"Inferno Magma Dragon"
Troy then tells the young Goberin the tale of him crossing path with such a creature.
"It loves to live inside volcanos and prey on things smaller than its own size"
"Does it fly?"
"With wings being submerged in lava like that? Heck no"
"So um... Does it go out to prey on anything else?"
"Sometimes... When there's no food available for it, the herd will send one or two out to scavenge. But they only take Giga Grizzlies, Mountainous Snapping Turtles and Mountain Dragons"
"Woww~"
"When one is wandering about close to a nearby village near the foot of the mountain -we call them Obsidian for short. And the Guild nearby would be on high alert and sent out distress signals to other towns to report the rare sighting and the quest for beating is enormous!"
"*gulp* H-How much?"
"I'm talking about 2-5 years worth of vacation! 2 million gold!"
"T-That much!? W-Wait... I uh... I don't know the value of the currency here hehe..."
"Think about of it like living as a King for 3 years"
Goberin's eyes then shine stars the moment he heard that.
"Hehe, pretty good right? Well, I'd slayed one before"
"Woah, really? You're kidding, right?"
"Nu uh... *Sigh*" He stopped for a minute and looked into the sky, remembering things that had transpired over the last few years.
"Listen kid, sit down for a moment and I will tell you the tale... The tale of Dragon Slayer Troy became to be"
*Gulp*
Goberin nodded his head and flopped on down the ground, paying attention to Troy as he began to retell the story of what had happened 5 years ago.
