When I awoke again, the sun was several inches higher up in the sky, letting me know that several hours had passed. The pain in my side hadn’t subsided at all – I’m afraid that it’s simply part of my existence, for now – and the weight of a small dog lying atop my chest certainly wasn’t helping me breath any. “Sha…dow… You…’ve… got… to… moo…ove… boy.” Each word was ragged and punctuated with pauses, and I slowly managed to force my arm up and push my little snoring boy off my chest.
“Groo roo roo.” Grumpily, Shadow slid off my torso and stretched, wagging his tail.
“Goo roo roo to you too,” I weakly answered him, forcing myself to sit up and look around.
The first thing that was immediately obvious to me, was that I had been moved. Me and Shadow was laying in the shade of the thick vegetation, looking down a long, sloping, sandy embankment which led back down to the dark gray beach and then the ocean. Forcing myself to turn so I could stare into the forest, there wasn’t anything much I could see. Leaves of various plants, ferns, flowers, and trees, grew so thickly together that it was almost impossible to see more than a dozen steps into the… overgrown jungle would have to be the only words I could possibly use to describe it.
Staring up and down the beach, there wasn’t any sign of either of the two girls, now. “I guess they pulled me up here and then wandered off on their own. It’s just the same story of my life, a different day,” I muttered to myself, mournfully. Seems that no matter where I go, or what happens, I’m just destined to end up by myself. Losing all motivation to fight the pain any longer, I simply squirmed my way back to a try and waited for Death to come finish what it’d started. Even with the sounds of all the insects and animals of the forest all about, the silence was still echoing loudly in my heart.
Feeling my melancholy, Shadow whimpered softly, before crawling up to nuzzle his head beneath my hand, offering it for comfort. Unconsciously, my fingers stroked his fur and scratched his ears, while my mind drifted away.
How long I was lost in my melancholic fugue, I can’t say, but it was the sound of two girl’s voices which brought my consciousness back to the present. Both girls were coming up together from the left side of the beach, talking in some language which I didn’t recognize at all, though I could only hear them and not see them yet.
I’d studied French and Spanish almost forty years ago, back when I was in high school, and even though I sucked badly at both back then, I still remembered enough of the languages to identify them when spoken. I used to watch various anime on television, so my ears were used to Japanese, Chinese, and Korean to an extent. German and Dutch are both very guttural languages which always make me think that one has to dislocate their jaw to speak them properly. None of the languages which I know of really sound like the one the two girls were using. Light and musical almost, what they spoke almost sounded like a bastardization between French and Japanese, but was yet independent all its own.
Just as I was beginning to wonder exactly where the hell they could be from, sounding like that, the two came in to view. The red-haired girl had apparently gotten over her shock, as she was talking and waving her hands excitedly while gesturing animatedly as she spoke. I have no idea what she’s talking about, but it’s obvious from her tone and actions that she’s excited.
The girl with the long blond hair walked almost solemnly beside her, talking only in short, brief words, while nodding her head slightly from time to time. I wasn’t certain who blondie was, but even dressed as oddly as she was, she held herself tall and carried herself with grace and certainty. I’m completely certain she’s not a normal woman. She obviously has to be a child of wealth, or politics, or business, or some other celebrity which has taught her to maintain her poise under all conditions – and this was truly one of those unusual conditions.
Coming up the beach together, I couldn’t help but notice how striking the two young ladies were. Both were young and vibrant – I’d put their age around that of late high school girls or early college students. The red-haired girl wasn’t wearing anything except her blue loin cloth, yet she seemed completely unconcerned at all about her breasts standing bare in the rising morning sunlight. For all I knew, it might’ve been the state of their appearance which she was waving and chatting so merrily about.
The other girl was just completely exotic in her appearance. Long, flowing blond hair blowing gently in the wind behind her, while dressed in nothing more than a pair of thigh-high boots, lacy white panties, and dingy sand-stained gloves which covered to her shoulder. The dress which I had cut and ripped earlier was completely gone, and the sunlight glistened and reflected off her pale skin, while her large round breasts swayed freely with each step. The contrast of the clothes which she was wearing, versus the clothes that she wasn’t wearing, almost made it seem as if she was attempting to highlight all the most important parts – and yet, she still managed to somehow hold her head high and walk with an air of pure confidence and dignity! Blondie definitely isn’t a normal girl at all!
“Boww woow woow!” Noticing them approaching, Shadow let out a few sharp barks to make certain that I was aware of their presence, and then he firmly planted himself behind me and trembled excitedly, while growling softly and waiting to see how I was going to respond.
Looking wide eyed in our direction, both girls gave a sigh of relief when they noticed that the sound was nothing more than my little boy’s attempt at being ferocious. From what I could tell from their expressions, it seems obvious that the two are more frightened and more on edge than I’d first assumed from their actions as they seemed to walk freely along the edge of the forest. Shadow’s all of a fifteen-pound bundle of fur, with teeth that could barely break the skin. If they’re frightened of his little bark, the two have to be on edge.
“It’s okay,” I waved, reassuring them. “He won’t bite.” I don’t know if they understand English, or not, but hearing my voice and seeing my movement seemed to offer both of them some relief. Red – I don’t know their names, and I need to start thinking of them in some manner so I can differentiate them in my thoughts – came bouncing up as soon as she saw me wave, causing Shadow to yip and scurry backwards to hide behind a tree. He’s always been a spoilt little lap dog, raised by middle-aged folks, and quick movements and such frighten him.
“Talla kin dora?” Leaning down to place her hand across my forehead, I had a perfect view of all the freckles which dotted the landscape of Red’s lovely oval breasts. Well-tanned. No tan lines. Nipples still as perked and erect as when I’d first noticed them. There wasn’t any doubt that she had a set of perfectly shaped knockers which would grab any man’s attention.
“Talla kin dora?!” Whatever she was saying, she repeated it again; this time while forcing me to turn my head up so that I was gazing at her eyes instead of her chest. Her tone didn’t really sound as much offended, as it did worried, which I found a little oddish considering we’d just met.
“I’m fine,” I tried to assure her. “My side hurts and I can’t hardly catch my breath, but I’m fine.” I felt like I was dying, but after what I’d did crashing into these two girls and trapping them here with me, I forced myself to smile to try and reassure them. I sure as hell don’t need them to worry about me, and to add to their burdens.
“Dara kin bon toi!” Sighing with obvious relief, Red leaned forward, wrapped her arms around my head, and squeezed me tightly against her chest.
“Mumffle hummfle,” was all I could let out as my face was buried between her breasts, and for the first time in forever, the silence in my heart was broken. Crying like a baby, all my pent-up emotions suddenly flooded from my body, and I squeezed her tight, sobbing uncontrollably upon her chest.
Instead of trying to pull away from me, Red simply held me tighter in her arms and whispered soft words which I couldn’t understand into my ears. A few moments later, another set of arms wrapped themselves gently around me from the side, and another soft set of breasts pressed warmly against my right. “Guuu woo woo!” Jealously overcoming his nervousness, Shadow squirmed his way around to my other side and tried to wiggle his way onto my lap and between both girls.
The silence was gone. I don’t know how long it’ll remain gone, but for now it’s gone, so praise God!
----------------------------------------
My head was hurting, but my heart felt lighter by the time I finally quit crying and the girls released me from their embrace. Shadow was still snuggled up my lap, refusing to relinquish his place, when Blondie produced a handful of what appeared to be bright red cherries. Saying something I didn’t understand, she took one and gently popped it in my mouth. Curious where they’d came from, I followed her hand back down as she gathered another from a small bundle at her feet. Apparently, the girls had went off together to hunt something to eat, and Blondie had used her corset to wrap up the fruit they found and bring it back to share with me.
Biting down on the small fruit which Blondie had placed in my mouth, I was immediately struck with a sharp acidic, spicy tang. Coughing several times from the unexpected taste, I lulled the fruit around in my mouth trying to decide what it tasted like. Honestly, I’ve always loved to eat and even cook, so I thought I’d heard of most types of fruits already, but I don’t have the foggiest idea what the hell they’d found. Tasting like a mix between a hot pepper and a sour lemon, while looking like an oversized cherry, I had to wonder if the fruit might not be poisonous.
“Are you certain we can eat these,” I asked, wrinkling my nose up from the taste?
Both girls took a moment to glance at each other, while exchanging words which I couldn’t understand at all, before Blondie took and popped one of the fruits into her mouth. Wrinkling her nose from the taste, she forced herself to chew and swallow while Red tittered lightly watching her.
Sighing as deeply as I could with my busted up side, I could only shrug my shoulders. “Well, I guess that means if we’re going to get the shits and die from poison, we’ll all die together.” Somehow, as morbid as that thought was, it made me feel better. At least I wasn’t alone, for the moment.

Reaching my hand out to get me another… Whatever the hell these things are, I have to call them something! From now on, I suppose these will be ‘Fire Lemons’. I’m certain somebody somewhere out there in the world knows their proper name, but since they’re not here at the moment (or if they are, in the case of one of these two girls, I can’t understand them), I’m just going to give them a name myself.
Reaching my hand out to get me another Fire Lemon, resulted in me getting my fingers gently slapped by Blondie, while Red snickered softly. “Nagu kin! Nagu!” Blondie shook a finger slightly in front of my face, while chiding me in her unknown language. “Nagu,” she repeated again, for the third time, while slowly shaking her head left to right.
“Fine. I’ll just damn starve then,” I muttered, moodily. Woman have always been a mystery to me – even after having been married for half my life – and these two were doubly mysterious since I couldn’t even understand the basics of what they were saying to me. Stubbornly, I tried to force myself to stand.
“Nagu!” Blondie reached out and pushed down gently, but firmly, upon my shoulders, while admonishing me again.
“Whatever,” I huffed, painfully. “I guess ‘nagu’ must mean no, for you.” Groaning from the effort, I leaned back against the tree once more.
“Shina!” Seeing me subdued by her efforts, Blondie beamed a large smile and picked up another Fire Lemon and popped it into my mouth.
“What the heck?” Wrinkling my nose from the spicy-sour taste, I couldn’t help but remind myself: I’m never going to be able to understand women. Apparently, I’m not allowed to feed myself, but she’s going to feed me instead?
“Shina,” Blondie said, beaming a smile once again. I suppose ‘nagu’ must be something similar to ‘no, or bad’, while ‘shina’ is the equivalent to ‘yes, or good’. I guess with at least this much understanding, and the ability to gesture to each other, we’ll sort out how to communicate better over time.
“Shina,” I agreed, while relaxing and trying to take in the environment better.
The sun was moving ever higher overhead, and as the heat rapidly increased all around us, so did the humidity from the water evaporating off the ocean. I’m not certain how long Blondie and Red had been walking the coastline looking for food while I was unconscious, but Blondie’s chest and shoulders were already beginning to turn a nasty shade of red. Red appeared to be used to the sun, and her tan was shielding her from the worst of its rays, but Blondie was going to seriously burn without some protection.
Shielding my eyes with my hand from the sun, I glanced all around for Shadow, realizing he’d been too quiet for quite some time. “Asshole! Where you at?” Calling out for him as loudly as I could force myself, I was rewarded with a thump, thump, thump from behind me. Glancing back, I was relieved to find that he’d settled himself down peacefully behind the shade of the tree I was leaning on, and was panting contentedly.
“Here,” I pointed to the ground by my side, and he crawled up to where I indicated and nuzzled his head beneath my hand. He truly is a good boy.
“Challa val konna,” Red whispered, eyes opening wide as she stared at me and Shadow.
“Challa val konna,” Blondie agreed, looking smug for some reason, as she glanced back at Red.
I don’t have a clue what these two jibber about all the time, or why they seem to find a little pup like Shadow so strange, but I suppose I’ll figure that out in time, once we communicate better. For some reason, they almost seem afraid of the little fellow. “It’s fine,” I tried to reassure the two of them, as I rolled Shadow over onto his back and scratched his stomach.
“Here.” Holding out my hand, I gently took Blondie’s small fingers and led them down to his stomach. “Just scratch gently and he’ll be your friend for life,” I assured her.
“Woooooo...” Letting out a breath that couldn’t be from anything less than amazement, Blondie’s eyes twinkled as she hesitantly opened and closed her fingers imitating as I had scratched Shadow’s stomach. His tail wagged and thumped happily, and he squirmed a few times to try and position her fingers at the best spot for his enjoyment.
“Kin challa val konna,” Red whispered, starting wide eyed over towards Blondie.
Blondie completely ignored her and continued to slowly scratch Shadow’s stomach; a sloppy grin spread wide across her face. “Tal challa val konna,” she nodded, sounded amazed.
“Look,” I tried, reasonably, “you’ve got to let me up. I’m afraid we’re going to be in serious trouble here soon, if my guess is correct for this evening.” The heat and the humidity were really starting to concern me, and between Shadow, these girls, and the constant ache in my head and the relentless throbbing in my sides, I was having a hard time trying to focus.
“Blondie, come.” Staring over at her, I pointed at the ground to my left several times, indicating beside me.
Too wrapped up in scratching Shadow’s stomach, Blondie tuned me out completely. I guess that’s to be expected, since she didn’t have a clue what I was trying to say any more than I did with her.
“Blondie. Come.” I tried to strengthen my voice as much as my pounding ribs would allow, to get her attention, but instead, it was Red who moved up to sit beside me.
“No. No. No.” I half laughed, half cried at the unexpected reaction, as Red sat on her knees and then laid back like Shadow, exposing her stomach to me. “I didn’t ask you to come here so I could pet you.” Just what the hell is up with these women?!
“Nagu! Nagu!” Reaching down, I gently smacked Red across her abdomen, and shook my head from side to side. “Not you,” I stressed, pointing over to Blondie instead. “Her!”
Nodding slightly, as if she understood, Red sprung up in one smooth, athletic movement, and said, “Kin amma, Laulaia.”
Hearing her own language spoken, Blondie finally stopped petting Shadow, and glanced over at Red. Several words passed too quickly between them for me to understand anything which they were saying, but finally Blondie moved over to my side. Kneeling much as Red had done, she leaned back and exposed her stomach fully to me, resting her arms beneath her head.
“Damn it,” I cussed lightly under my breath. “I’m not trying to pet either of you girls. Just what the hell type of misunderstanding do you two have?” Shaking my head slightly, I forced myself to lean down and pull her left leg up into my lap.
Examining the boots which Blondie was wearing, they were definitely some high-quality merchandise. Made of some sort of extremely soft leather, they were dyed a glossy blue, with green highlighting the edges. Seeing and feeling the extreme high heels, I was once again left wondering just how the hell she could manage to walk on a sandy beach with so poise while wearing them.
“Sorry,” I apologized, while tugging weakly on the boot I was holding. “I need this for a few moments.”
“Frenta kin gona?” Blondie asked, without struggling or resisting me at all.
“Off,” I whispered, feeling light headed once again. Letting go of her boot, I leaned back against the tree once more and gently rubbed Shadow’s stomach while I tried to catch my breath.
“Tal gona,” Red offered, coming over to sit back down beside me. With one swift and smooth movement, she pulled Blondie’s boot off and held it out to me. A quizzical look on her face showed that she wasn’t certain if that’s what I was trying to accomplish, or not.
“Shina,” I told her, nodding lightly. From what I think I learned earlier, I think ‘shina’ means ‘good’.
“Shina!” Red nodded and beamed proudly at herself. Sitting the one boot down beside me, she gracefully reached down and tugged the other one off as well, before presenting it to me, like before.
“Shina,” I assured her, weakly giving her a thumb’s up as a sign of encouragement. “Now, I have a job for you,” I told Red, pointing my finger at her weakly.
“Frenta?” Red tilted her head, a puzzled look crossing her face, as she tried to understand what I was saying.
“That,” I pointed to the boot in her hand. “And that,” I pointed to the other boot beside me.
Frowning as she struggled to understand what I was trying to say, Red picked up the other boot and stared directly at my eyes.
“Shina,” I told her, once more giving her a thumb’s up.
“Shina!” Red beamed a brilliant smile, seemingly exuberant that we were communicating so well together.
“Now you,” I pointed directly at Red.
“Tal,” she asked, pointing back at herself?
“Yes. You,” I smiled. So far, this was going easier than I had imagined it could’ve. This girl doesn’t appear to be an idiot, not by a long means!
“Shina.” Red grinned, then started sliding the boot she was holding up her own leg.
“No. No. Nagu.” I corrected her, shaking my head from side to side slightly. Maybe this wasn’t going to be as easy as I’d just thought.
“Nagu?” Red looked puzzled, stopping what she was doing almost immediately. Staring directly into my eyes again, I could tell she was searching for whatever I wanted her to do.
“Up,” I told her, waving up hand in a slight upward motion. “Get up.”
Shadow snorted softly, then stood and wagged his tail at me, thinking I was talking to him.
Glancing past me, Red nodded her head slightly, and then stood while holding both boots in her hands.
“Shina,” I confirmed, weakly passing her a thumb’s up one more time. “Now I just need you to go to the ocean, dip the boots in it, and bring them back,” I told Red, hopelessly dreading how to convey such a complex set of instructions to her.
“Tal?” Red pointed to herself, struggling to figure out what I’d just said.
“Yes, you,” I agreed, nodding my head slightly. “Go.” I pointed at her and then towards the ocean several times.
Nodding, Red started to walk around me and towards the beachline. Reaching out, I gently gripped her ankle as she walked around me, causing her to stop.
“Sploosh. Sploosh.” I mimicked dipping my hand downward into the soft sand, and made splashing noises as I scooped up a pile and held it up for her. “Dip the boot in the water, and bring it back,” I stressed, once again.
“Shina!” Red beamed a brilliant smile and then flashed me a thumb’s up before rushing off down the beach and to the water, as Shadow yipped and chased after her sudden movement. Leaning back heavily against the tree, I didn’t have the energy in me to stop him, so I just let him go. Shadow’s not one to bite someone, and I don’t think there’s any trouble he can get himself into between here and there.
Letting my left-hand fall limp to my side, I was surprised when it fell across Blondie’s leg, which was still beside me. Looking down, she was still stretched out on her back, appearing completely at ease while looking completely vulnerable beside me. If I thought the boots-gloves-panty look was unusual, looking at her now was even more amusing. Under her boots, Blondie was wearing a pair of black-knit hose, which were being held up and in place by a set of thick white garters. The white lace panties which she was wearing revealed more than they concealed – it was obvious just by looking at them that she was a woman who kept her lady regions well shaved – and the thick gloves covered her arms and rested peacefully under her head.
“Aren’t you afraid I might molest you?” Staring freely at her now that Red wasn’t here, and her eyes were closed so she wouldn’t know the difference anyway, I had to admit Blondie was a beautiful woman. Those breasts of hers appeared to be every bit as large as my wife’s had been, but her waist had to be about half the size. Blondie truly had an hourglass figure. Had she been wearing something like that corset all her life, perhaps?
“Tal buno!” Bouncing back with Shadow playfully chasing at her heels, Red skipped to a stop and presented both boots out to me at once.
Tearing my gaze from Blondie’s perfect form, I took the first boot and then dropped it due to the unexpected weight. These things held water just fine, and I have no idea what a knee-high boot of water weighs, but it’s a lot more than I ever would’ve guessed. How the hell did Red carry both of them and bounce back here with them so quickly?
“OH!” Leaping forward, Red dashed down to try and grab up the boot I’d dropped, before all the water poured out of it. Unfortunately for me, doing so made all the water in the other boot that she was holding tilt out and pour all over me and down into my lap. Seeing that, Red simply slumped to the ground and began to cry. “Tal nagu shina,” she muttered to herself, looking completely dejected.
Somehow, seeing her complete misery after seeing her boisterous exuberance was just too much for me. I couldn’t help but start laughing – which was cut short by the sharp pain in my ribs which led to me moaning and groaning in a coughing fit instead.
Even through all the agony of coughing though, I had to admit to myself, things might not be as bad here as I’d first imagined. Pain I can endure. At least I haven’t heard the silence for quite some time now! No matter what later this evening, or the future brings; for the moment, I’m content with life.
