Chapter 8: Her first tear

"Fuck! I knew I shouldn't have trusted you!" he turned away from her, there was no point in continuing to do front against front.

"Sat, are yo-"

"Don't you dare call me by my first name!"

"But, it was you who told me to call you that, instead of my hero."

"I know, but it's different now! From now on, you can never speak to me again, so don't! Do I make myself clear?"

He approached the young man, not wanting to hurt him, but he could not go on like this. She hugged him, tighter and tighter, until he had difficulty breathing.

"Hey... What the fuck... Do you think you're doing?! Get off!"

"Not until you tell me how to address you." she squeezed him even tighter, his bones beginning to creak. In the meantime, however, she looked him straight in the eye, impassive as only she knew how to appear.

"This way... You will end up... Killing me..."

"Do not overdo it. Without you, I would never, ever be able to reunite with my creator."

He was all red, he was bursting. He could do nothing but acquiesce to the robot girl's request "Alright.... Alright... Call me Sat, or whatever.... But please... Stop..."

She let him go immediately, allowing him to take a deep breath "See? That wasn't hard, my hero."

"Fuck you..." he couldn't even stand, his back hurt too much, so he let himself drop dead weight on the bed, even hurting himself.

"I'm sorry, but there was no other way." she said, settling into a chair nearby "If you want, I can sing to make you feel better."

He turned his back to her, lying down on his right side "Yes, that's fine..." thus, Dricea began to sing.

That same night, a loud bang woke Sat up. He even fell out of bed "What the fuck was that?!"

The roars continued, uninterrupted. He instinctively looked out of the window... Only flames and destruction, the city was under attack, and with it the castle too, some towers had in fact already collapsed "Fuck, fuck, fuck!" he couldn't think or say anything else, when he realised that they were being attacked from above, from the sky, more to the point. That's right, fiery rocks were raining down from the sky, but he couldn't see where they were coming from, who or what was throwing them, they were appearing in the middle of nowhere, falling everywhere.

He did not even have time to turn towards the door, which was knocked down by someone. It was dark night, only the light of the moon and flames illuminated the room, nevertheless, two more lights appeared before his eyes. Two small blue lights... The eyes of the one he could not bear, the eyes of Dricea.

"Dricea!!!" he ran towards her, crying his eyes out. As soon as he reached her, he clutched her in a hug, shouting "They're attacking us!!! Those bastards are attacking us!!!" he was terrified, his legs gave out, but he was held up by the robot girl.

"We have to go, there's no more time. The castle will be torn down any moment." she was calm, calm as can be. She lifted Sat from the ground, took him in her arms. The young man, despite himself, offered no resistance, he was on the verge of fainting, or a panic attack, it was not clear to her. The fact was, she threw herself out of the window with him in her arms, leaping from place to place as fast as she could, but at the same time avoiding the risk of hurting him again. Sat was still sore from earlier.

All of a sudden, an immense portal opened in the sky. Seeing it, Dricea began to run faster and faster, faster and faster. What could be described as a meteorite was about to crash into the castle. Each of her joints glowed blue... As the capital of the kingdom of Fraradar was razed to the ground, a luminous robot girl, holding her hero in her arms, sped through the night, now safe from the explosion.

A tear... That night, Dricea shed her first tear.

Shortly before, in the castle dungeon.

"Glilia! Glilia!!" shouted Gio, as he and his sister made their way towards Glilia's cell. As they passed, those in the cage desperately shouted at the two heroes to free them, to let them out from where they were imprisoned.

"Shut the fuck up! You must be quiet!!!" he cried, as did her sister. The dungeons were shaking, but it did not look like they would collapse. Fortunately for them, they were dozens of metres underground.

Finally, they managed to reach the cell where the demoness was locked up. She, like everyone else, was crying in terror.

As soon as she saw the human, she immediately headed for the bars, happy as ever to see someone "Gio! Please let me out! Save me! I will become your slave! I may call you master! But save me!"

Gio trembled, nevertheless he managed to draw his sword from its sheath, but not just any sword, but that of the goddess's son. He pointed it at the bars, and suddenly the weapon's blade glowed a white, almost transparent "Get away, Glilia!" he unleashed a single slash, with which he ripped through the bars, causing them to melt.

The demoness was safe, now it was everyone else's turn, thought the first hero. After all, it was now too late to escape, either the dungeon would save them, or they would die there.
