So the two of them searched the forest for something else for Sat to snack on, and even managed to find game, a kind of rodent with three horns on its head and thorns, like hedgehogs, on its tail.
"Bon appetite!" exclaimed Sat, after waiting for the meat of the beast to finish cooking on the fire lit by Dricea "I promise you, should I manage to find the ingredients, I will one day make you a nice pizza margherita."
"Which is?"
"One of the typical dishes of my homeland."
"In that case, I can't wait to taste it. Or so I'd like to say, but as I thought you understood I can't eat like-"
"Yeah, that's right! Fuck, I'm such an idiot."
"No offence, my hero, it's not necessary."
Waiting for Sat to finish eating, they set off towards the Way of Grace. Only, before they got there, they would have to stop in the city of Scelevo, on the south-eastern edge of the kingdom of Fraradar, a day's carriage ride from their destination, and a few days' walk from where they were.
"How much further is it? I can't take it anymore..." Sat was already tired; they had walked for a little over two hours, and on flat ground to boot. Around them, apart from some grass, there was not much else, just a few rocks and a few trees here and there. In the background, in the distance, a few hills and a single mountain, whose cloud-covered summit could barely be seen.
"Hang on a little longer, we'll stop for lunchtime." Dricea was carrying a bag made of leaves and branches, she had made it, she was good at these things. Inside were a couple of fruits and some kind of coconuts, only they were not fruits, but eggs they had found near a pond in the forest. Although Sat was sorry to take them, they had no other choice, they had to drink somehow, and those eggs happened to contain enough water for one day. Dricea also needed water, not to drink it, but to cool herself.
"Wouldn't you be so kind... To carry me in your arms, or on your shoulders?"
"No, my hero, or you'll never get used to it. Keep that in mind, from now on you will have to toil, only then will your body become strong enough to complete our journey. Not to mention the assignments you will have to face from here on."

"Listen, Dricea... Are you sure you want to be reunited with your creator? Wouldn't you rather... Take revenge on those who killed the people you cared about?"
'You are wrong, I did not and do not care about anyone but you, my hero. As for wanting revenge.... No, I don't feel like it. I have completed my task, summoning you into this world. But... As you already know, if I haven't helped you recover at least three of the five ancestral statues first, we won't be able to part. And who knows... Maybe, in the meantime, we might have to fight against whoever attacked the kingdom of Fraradar, at which point.... I hope that's enough of an answer for you."
Sat smiled, more because it would perhaps mean that he would be able to spend more time in Dricea's company, and not because he was beginning to dislike her less, just a smidgen perhaps, but because he knew well that without her he would barely be able to survive in this new world "I see."
"I expected no less from you, my hero." having said that, they continued on their way.
Lunchtime arrived and they stopped in the shade of a tree to eat, Sat ate, Dricea only quenched her thirst. Afterwards, they chatted for a while. The conversation went something like this: Sat asked Dricea a question and she answered him, Sat asked her another question and she answered him, and so on. This rhythm was, however, at one point interrupted by the passage of a carriage drawn by a kind of bison. It was not moving too fast, so they had time to stop it.
The coachman was a rather elderly man, while the one inside was none other than a good-looking demon. Of course, Dricea lifted her hood, to prevent the two newcomers from being able to see her face clearly.
"Good morning, may I be of assistance?" the demon asked the two.
Answering him was Sat, for he thought that if he heard Dricea's somewhat metallic voice he might become suspicious "Yes, actually. My sister and I are on our way to the city of Scelevo. Is there any chance you could give us a ride? They have been walking for days now, and my sister can barely stand. I occasionally carry her on my shoulders, but..."
"No need to tell me any more, I understand. Remind me, are you also leaving the kingdom, following the attack by Trante's? If so, please come aboard."
"Are you serious?! Thank you very much! We will be forever grateful!"
"I have no use for your gratitude. I just think travelling in company is more fun. I hate not having anyone to talk to. If you know what I mean."
"You explain yourself very well, in fact the same goes for me!" therefore, the two climbed aboard the demon carriage. They sat on the seat opposite his, side by side. Dricea because of this lowered her hood even more, also fastened her cloak.
"So, I would say first of all let us introduce ourselves, what do you say?" the elegant demon took off his hat, much like a pirate's "I am Fracius Berevan, one of the most renowned inventors of the kingdom of Vaddago. You are?"
