The assignment was to find a bugiuiu, a beast similar to a cat, but on two legs. For a novice like him, such an assignment was perfect, or so he had been told by Faffa. Unfortunately, however... So it was not to be. The bugiuiu ran away hopping here and there, moreover Dricea didn't seem to have any intention of helping him, she merely followed him, nothing more.
"Hey, shit cat! See that you get caught, I've had enough of playing catch!" but the little beast didn't seem to be of the same opinion.
At one point, he managed to corner the bugiuiu. It was trapped, in a dead end! It had no way out, to the right was a wall, to the left also, while behind it was the locked door of a closet. In front, however... There was Sat, his hunter.
The little beast jumped once, then a second time. It caught the momentum, tried to leap over the human with a third leap, but couldn't do it. Finally, it was caught.
"Mission accomplished!" shouted Sat, as Dricea congratulated him.
However, all of a sudden, the tip of the bugiuiu tail became sharp, sticking into his right hand.
He felt an excruciating pain, not only did it hurt from the sting, it also burned, as if a poison had begun to take effect.
He imprecated, reflexively dropping the bugiuiu. The little beast had managed to escape, it was free again, but... Not for long.
"Are you all right, my hero?" Dricea asked him, after catching the beast, whose tail tip hurt trying to sting her left hand.
"What do you think?! It burns me... It burns me like crazy."
"Come closer, let me see." his hand was all red, it was even beginning to swell "May I?"
He then held out his hand to her "Whatever you want to do to me, do it slowly."
She took his hand with her own, and suddenly Sat began to feel heat coming from Dricea's. Within seconds, the pain had subsided and the burning was gone.

"Feeling better now?"
"Yes, thank you." once again she had helped him, yet all he did was lash out at her "About before, when I yelled at you... Well, excuse me, I'm sorry."
"Apology accepted, my hero."
The assignment, however, was not only to capture the bugiuiu, but also to bring it back to its owner, an elderly man who owned a pastry shop, who offered them sweets as a thank you.
On the way back to the guild "It was more difficult than expected. I can't wait until nightfall to go to sleep."
"Do you want me to sing for you tonight?"
"Only if you don't mind. I have treated you badly, after all."
"Never mind, my hero, the important thing is that you apologised."
Back at the guild, Sat got the reward for the assignment, twenty iur exact "What could I do with it?" he thought. It wasn't much, but it wasn't little either. Roughly, they were the same value as a ten euro banknote.
An idea occurred to him, for which he told Dricea to wait for him at the inn. When he arrived at the room, Dricea was sitting on a chair. Her eyelids were down, perhaps she was sleeping.
He did not want to disturb her, but his embarrassment at what he was about to do did not allow him to wait any longer, so he woke her up.
"Is there anything I can do for you, my hero?"
"Yes..." a bracelet came out of one of his trouser pockets "Try this on and tell me how it fits."
"How much did it cost you?"
"Everything I had, they even gave me a discount."
"You shouldn't have."
"Come on, don't be shy, just put it on."
"I'm not being shy, just telling it like it is."
"Alright, give it here!" he snatched the bracelet from her hands, then shrugged "I'll go and bring it back! I just hope I get my money back."
"Wait. Don't bring it back."
"Too late, you should have thought of that before." so, he closed the room door behind him, but once outside the inn he found Dricea standing in front of him. Apparently, she had jumped out of the window.
"Give it back, please. I'll wear it, I promise."
"If you ask me as you are doing. Put a little more enthusiasm into it. In fact, put it on, without a little more."
"Give it back, please." neither expression nor tone of voice had changed. Inexpressive both as usual.
"You just can't do it, can you? In that case..." he wanted to throw it at her, to make her catch it like a dog, but, who knows why, he realised from her eyes that all in all she really cared about that bracelet. Or maybe he was just imagining it? Either way, she finally gave it back to him.
"Thank you, my hero." he put it on "It fits, you don't need to go change it." having said that, they both went back to their rooms.
And it was evening and night, Dricea, with the bracelet on her right wrist, sang for Sat to fall asleep.
"Goodnight, my hero." he had already fallen asleep, so with only her eyes and the moon shining on Sat's face, she gave him a kiss on the forehead "Thank you again, my hero."
