"Fuck you?! Fuck you?! Fuck me?!!! How dare you?!!!" he was about to hit him with the fishing rod, but...
"Stop!" Fracius ordered him.
He stopped. Few other times had he heard his friend use that tone with him, and always when very, very angry.
"Had I known you would treat him like this, I wouldn't have even let you meet him." he said to Prionzo, referring to Sat.
"He's the one who started it." he pouted.
"No, he didn't, you started it."
"So what? He deserved it, for lying to me."
"I'm the one who lied to you, not him."
"It's all the same, as far as I'm concerned." he didn't intend to give it to either his friend or the brat, as he had called him.
The fact is, the waters eventually calmed down, and by the grace of who knows who, Prionzo allowed Sat and Dricea, Triva for him, to pass the signpost. That done, he invited them into the house, if it could be called that. What Prionzo called home was little more than a shack, which barely seemed to stand upright, but he did not care about that, seeing how he slammed the door to close it after entering.
He made them sit on an old, dirty, shabby sofa. Sat didn't particularly like the idea, but he was tired, he had walked a lot, so he didn't make any compliments and sat down. Dricea took a seat next to him, while Fracius and Prionzo remained standing, near an old table.
"So what's this all about, Fracius? You know very well I don't accept brats in my guild, but from what I see..." he looked at the bracelet on Sat's right wrist "My daughter allowed him to."
"You must believe me, Prionzo, you won't regret it. I am sure Sat will one day leave you speechless, and in a positive way."
"May one know why you care so much for this brat? You said you met him on your way here. How come you already took a liking to him?"

The reason was simple, he was the third hero, and Fracius well knew he could one day become a sort of ace in the hole for the Vaddago kingdom against the Trante kingdom. In fact, Dricea had told him how Sat and two other friends of his had been summoned for this very reason. In any case, sooner or later it would come to light.
"Maybe... And I say maybe... It reminded me of my past self." he was lying, and not a little. Sat had nothing to do with the himself of the past, or even the himself of the present.
"In what way, shall we hear?" not even Prionzo remembered him.
"It does not matter now." he put his hat back on "What is done is done, and Sat is now a member of your guild. Be sure to treat him well." he made to leave "And see that you get home to your daughter as soon as possible. By now... This place... No, nothing. It is simply Faffa that you have left of Galea, not this shack. Remember that, Prionzo." with that said, all three turned back to the town of Scelevo, but just before they set foot there, they heard Prionzo's hoarse voice in the distance telling them to wait for him.
He had pondered his friend's words, and it made him miss his daughter, Faffa. After all, he had not seen her for a few days, and he knew well that he had left the weight of the guild on her shoulders.
The hero, the ancestral golem and the inventor headed for the inn, while the guildmaster headed for the guild.
After having lunch, Sat and Dricea also headed to the guild, Fracius instead stayed at the inn, he was busy, let's say.
"Shouldn't we set out on the Path of Grace instead of accepting an assignment? I thought we were in a hurry. I don't know if you have forgotten, but until I get my hands on the first of the ancestral statues, I will be of no help to you in combat."
"First of all, it is not certain that the first of the ancestral statues is one hundred percent in Nianoto Kingdom."
"What?! But you were the one who said that! How come you're coming up with this now?!"
"There are many places scattered around the continent where the magic density is very high, and in the realm of Nianoto there is one. We're only headed there because it's the closest to us.
''Fuck... Fuck! And you couldn't have told me this before?!" he raised his voice so high that quite a few people turned towards him. They glared at him, thinking he was shouting at the one in front of him.
"That's what happens when you deal with liars. Why the fuck did I trust you?!" he continued through the guild at a brisk pace, leaving her behind for a few seconds. He had enough of her at the moment, so he shouted at her not to follow him, but she, of course, didn't listen.
"Without me you would be doomed, my hero."
Was she making fun of him?! Was she making fun of him?! He almost yelled at her again, but he restrained himself, there were too many people around.
They arrived at the guild a few minutes later, and here Sat accepted on Faffa's advice his first assignment. Not because he actually wanted to accept it, but because they needed money, and Dricea had refused to go and steal for him. 'As the third hero you have to act like one.' she had told him.
