Sitting in a kneeling positions, three tear filled girls with a swelling on their head each from a firm hit on the head showed how annoyed the person who made that was.
Of course these three are Leah, Mirella and Nelim and Pelodius looked at them from his bed, “Alright, you’re not allowed to heal those bumps through magic, this is your punishment.” he said and at that time, Pristine walked in and saw what had happened.
“What happened here?” she asked.
“Nothing, I need some healing because of the shit these three pulled.” Pelodius said in a tone far from his common calm tone. His voice was a tone deeper and his was groaning.
Pristine nodded and ran over before pulling out a scanner and passed it over him. “What! Your mana channels are all open! Wait… your muscles are stressed and the nerves are currently over reacting, it's like you went on a marathon.” She said.
“Just heal me already!” Pelodius said.
Seeing that he was not in the mood to know what was going on, she pulled out a military grade healer gun and set the proper settings. “This will sting momentarily.” She said and pulled his arm and pulled the clothes back before shooting directly into his arm causing him to flinch before the glow spread throughout his body.
“Now this is a nutritional supplement, drink this now…” She said and handed him a yellow medicine in a 150 ml cup. "In one hour, you drink this…” she pulled out a health potion, “After that you should just rest for a short while and your body should be all back to full health.” She said.
“Thank you…” He said, his voice visibly less tense.
Pristine looked at the girls and frowned, “There is a swelling on their heads, do you want me to heal it as well?” She asked.
“No, also get in contact with the field medic of my sisters ship and tell her not to heal that on these three because it’s punishment.” Pelodius said.
“Understood captain.” She said and picked up her things, "If you require anything or feel any kind of strange pain or uncomfortable feeling, please come to my room immediately.” She said.
“Of course.” Pelodius said and let her leave.
“Alright, you three will leave with just this, if any of you dare to try anything like that again…” He stopped there making them gulp. “Now get out of here, I'm going to leave to gather mana and material to arm my ship, we can meet when we are prepared to leave for space. We can keep in contact through the Planet net.” He said.
“Okay.” the three said and got up.
“Be careful.” Leah said before leaving.
Pelodius sighed as he fell back, his body trembling from the pain pulsing in his body. He could feel his body filling with mana unlike what he felt before where he never felt its presence. That said, it was stranger then what he knew about mana.
“Adal.” he said and her hologram appeared fearfully.
“Tell me about this Opening technique Leah used on me.” He said.
“O-Okay, j-just don’t hurt me again.” She said fearfully.
He turned to look at her making her jump and vanish.
“Gather up your nanite swarm and start talking. I won’t hurt you anymore then you deserved, I want to know why it feels so painful when mana flows through my body and why does it feel like it is filling my body.” He asked.
Slowly the nanites activate and turn into a small vortex before turning into a timid tiny wolf girl who floated over.
“Okay, it's called the Savage Bear Channel Opening Technique. It's one of the rare techniques that helps strengthen the body besides using the trick of eating a magic beast.” She said.
“What is a magic beast?” he asked.
"It's like a monster but one following the cultivating system similar to my own. Those imp creatures, if left alone and taught basic meditation won’t become a Magic beast but if those chicken in Leah’s ship the… the…” She muttered.
“Cockatice.” Pelodius said.
“Yeah! That! If they had their channels opened, they would become magic beasts and would grow naturally becoming bigger and stronger as they grow.” She said. “Above that is the King beast when the Magic Beast starts to form the mana ocean.” she said.
“Okay, back to me, how long does this go on?” She asked.
“Um… you're still stabilizing, there are ten levels to the Opening which corresponds with the number of channels opened, then ten levels to the mana absorptions where you fill all ten main artery of the mana channels and all the branches and finally the mana pool. Since Leah forcefully opened your channels, the pain shouldn’t take long to stop with your healer present, if it was when I was alive, it would take more than a month of careful meditation to have it safely healed.” she said.
“Okay, so how do you use magic?” He asked.
“Do you want your universe or mine?” she asked.
She already had all the scanned knowledge the Grimoire had pulled out of her and that included her magical knowledge and her universes methods which fit with this ones.
Pelodius thought a moment, “Before I see it, teach me basic manipulation and meditation or else the mana will just keep moving around wildly without my control.” He said.
She nodded.

The two ships soon took off in different directions but when the crew asked what happened for the three to get hit it left Tony laughing on the ground.
“Gyahaha! Captain bitch and vice captain green Slut really got it handed to you this time! Gyahahaa!” Tony shouted.
The two stomped on him but regretfully he didn’t flinch.
“We are going to Bordon, a Mining city next.” Leah said after arguing.
“What is there?” Nelim asked.
"It's a dungeon set up by dwarves and earth elementals, Golems. The dungeon is filled with powerful earth and metal type monsters but the walls are great mineral deposits and perfect for us to gather the material for Tony to absorb, build drones and all drop the price of many of the buildings and projects we need to complete.” Leah said and took out the list that Chroma, Mirella’s mother, made for them.

“Thats a big ass list.” Victor said. “We should get the Mining Drone station and Mineral refiner first then.” He said.
“Yeah I thought the same, these are also Space worthy mining drone.” Leah said.
“Aye, they should be pulse engine and possess storage space of around 100 kilo of brute mineral ore.” Victor replied. “Dungeon, you have my personal blueprints right?”
“Yeah, damn thing, after my genius touched up on the shitty coding, cost 2,000 Mp to make 1 damn thing.” He said.
“How much better is it?” Leah asked.
"If Mining drone is the default name that comes with the system, the improved mining drone would be around 1,700 mp, the current one he have can easily be ranked as a Mark 2 Mining Drone.” Tony said.
“Damn thing cost five times normal Mark two and is in the price range of Mark 3!” Victor said.
“Yeah but like captain bitch said, they are space worthy mining drones. It's normal for space grade tech to cost much more.” Tony said without batting an eye.
“Alright alright! Tony, how much mana do you have?” Leah asked.
“Since you, the demon and the two Naiad have been feeding me, I have around 12,000, I can make 6 mining drone if that is what you want to know.” He said.
“We need the Drone station to control and store them don’t we?” Joce asked.
“Yeah.” Victor confirmed.
“Let’s prepare to hunt for now, earth beasts have strong bodies and are really hard on technology type minions like drones, it's going to be an uphill battle.” Leah said to Mirella and Joce who were the combat group.
“We should have looked for a few more combatants.” Mirella said.
Leah sighed for her own forgetfulness.
“OI!” Tony suddenly shouted. “Forgot to mention but I also need a lot of mana to upgrade the core holder, it's three upgrades only.” Tony said.
“Upgrading the Holder will improve the suppression coding, since you have control of the ship, upgrading it could lead to aiding the AI to suppressing you.” Victor said with a grin.
"I already figured as much but I doubt she could do much and the Holder is still too weak so I don’t care for now. Here is the list…” Tony said.
Core holder upgrades
‘Mana Generator’
50,000
‘Upgrade Mana Battery (250,000 mp)
62,500
‘Mana Stabilizer’
6,000
“Mana generator? Ah! I see, the combination of the generator and stabilizer will let you produce and stabilize more mana at a higher speed allowing your 1 mana per day to increase to around 5 mana per hour or 120 mana per day.” Victor said.
“Really!” Leah said shocked but was quite happy about this but frowned at the prices. "It's expensive.”
"IT'S A FUCKING INVESTMENT YOU FUCKING BRAT!” Tony suddenly appeared and roared in her face.
“So stingy.” She muttered.
“YOU~!” Tony growled in anger.
“So what do you guys think?” Leah turned the question to the others.
“Priority to the mining drone and station is more important right now because from them we can gather minerals to decrease the prices of everything else.” Victor said.
“Agreed!” Everyone but Tony said making him scoff and vanish.
Everyone dispersed to get ready to go to the dungeon, including Nelim who was preparing their lunch.

In Pelodius’ ship, he had left the AI in charge of flight and after drinking the potion, his muscles began to feel less pain and was in position to breath.
“Deep breath, feel the mana around you making a cycle. The cycle has to go to the ends of your channels and back to the mana pool. The head, right arm, right leg, left leg, left arm, this is the cycle pattern, start slow and careful.” Adal said.
The dense mana in the air was flowing steadily towards Pelodius as his control was slowly growing as he kept training and flowed the mana through his body. His ‘affinity’ that he possessed was pure Mystic magic affinity, before it had actually not been stable because his talent had been affected by his parents Neutralizer but as he slowly breathed in mana, his body attracted mystic mana that came from the mystic moon, Shenmi, and slowly fixed itself into his body and slowly his affinity began to stabilize.
The faint hue was rather strange on his lanky body but a healthy color covered his skin now unlike the more sickly color he had before. Even the bags under his eyes began to had vanished as his body was strangely vitalized by the mana in a strange means.
When he breathed out the final time, a string of smog was expelled from his lungs and he opened his eyes and looked at the floating wolf girl.
“Great! You finally finished your first meditation!” Adal said.
"It’s enough that my mana is stable now.” Pelodius said and turned on the holo projector on his watch and did a corporal scan to see the data about himself.
When he got the results, he was shocked by how much mana he obtained. It should be known that his magically trained sister has a value of 600 mana, he had 400 off the bat. It made him feel something was off.
“My mana pool is far from being the same size as Leah, how do I have more mana than her?” Pelodius asked.
“Well you're storing mana in the mana channels as well. Also, what is that contraption? Does it give a number to the amount of mana you have?” She asked curiously.
“This is one of mankind's best invention, each person is given one after their 5th birthday and it tells them their physical proficiency depending on their race. It took countless years of research to reach the procession the current model possesses and scanning of hundreds of thousands of people of the same race just to build an average of each race. As for the ‘value’ of mana. One point of mana is designated by the similar amount of the same mana within a 1 cubic meter of air.” He said.
As he said that he told the AI to make a hologram cube of that size. “The fact that I have a max of 400 mana power in my body means that absorbed an equivalent of 400 cubic meters of mana.” Pelodius said.
Getting up he looked at his hand and felt the mana flowing and slowly he gathered it above his hand and formed a small ball and began to manipulate it in a simple manner.
"I will probably have to get some lessons on magic now.” He muttered and sighed but he was engrossed by the mystical energy and wondered what his parents were thinking when they got rid of it when just because of an archmage who attacked them. If they were true scientists they would have studied how to make magical living weapons just to hire an even more influential Archmage to ruin their enemy.
“Since he is the source…” Pelodius muttered before withdrawing the mana, “Let’s go Adal, I need to get back to my research and have wasted enough time.” He said.

"I-I wholly apologize sir!” a man said bowing to another one.
“So Pelodius left this place huh?” the man said.
The person talking was none other than Leah and Pelodius’ father and the man who was in front of him was a military commander who sponsored research and development from Pelodius.
"I truly am sorry! He left so suddenly we could do nothing about it!” Professor Biswal said.
“Yes, he at least left his final work for us.” the military commander said and corressed the weapon that Pelodius had finished before leaving. It equipped like a gauntlet and possessed pulse technology that was part of a battle suit project. Besides pulse tech, there was also a laser weapon with a very high level penetration power. Of course, this is all technology based and not magitech.
Most of this technology goes to regions with low mana quantity but is built here for the safety and several unique magical materials that are used to build the pure tech weapon.
“Since Pelodius is no longer here, it also means our weapon development sponsor is also terminated.” the man said.
“S-Sir! Please! We can still develop for you!” professor Biswal said.
“No, I don’t believe you can, not at the development speed of your son at least. The field of you and your children are different from Pelodius’ weapon development.” He replied and got up with the gauntlet. "I bid you farewell. If your family wishes to continue cooperation, you can come to the Helionova Military Space center and we can work out different research projects we require.” he said and gave a nod before turning and leaving.
The family was in shock by how cold the man that they have worked with for years was. It was clear as day that they favored Pelodius only, still they had several other contracts.
When the man was gone the professor roared, "IT’S ALL THAT ABOMINATION’S FAULT!” he roared.
The already adult children just sat there not talking as their father roared, they looked from one to the other with a blank expression. They knew the house was falling on their head and if their father did something extremely bad.
“Whats with that look.” An extremely cold voice said. “By chance are you thinking of being like your brother? Jump ship as it starts sinking?” their father said.
In total he had seven children, Leah was the youngest of three daughters and Pelodius was the 3rd born boy of four boys. With the two not there, there was five of them left and their mother.
"It's all because of that abomination! I should have killed it when I still had the chance.” He roared.
“Father, that is going to far!” His eldest son said standing, “Although you taught us to hate magic and we do agree with that to a point, your taking it too far with this madness of anti magic! We’re in a magic world after all!” He said.
“So you’re one of them? Those idiot half beats who say they are anti magic but are just saying that to appease me.” He roared at his son.
The face of all five turned to scowl, the twitching of the face of his first son showed his anger, “Yes! Yes I am! I've always fucking hated how you made us treat Leah and I've hated everything about how you treat everyone I know and tried to make friends with as trash! There is no one in the universe that has no magic!” He shouted.
“THERE IS! You… and you… and all of you!” their father said.
“Because of your sick experiment!” the first son said. "I’ve had it!” He said removing his lab coat and throwing it at their father, "I’m going to live my life and the first thing I will research is how to unblock my mana channels, I don’t deserve your selfishness! Was a real man, he is the only one with the courage to openly defy you and treat Leah nice and even more...” he shouted. “... he had the courage to leave your shadow without having to listen to your bullshit.” He said and walked out slamming the door behind him.
A moment later, the other four each took their own coat off and walked out as well.
After they all left, the man’s face turned bright red, "I’LL KILL HER! BECAUSE OF HER SHE RUINED MY FAMILY!” He roared.
His wife was sitting calmly and watched her husband, "If you want to kill her, it would be too easy, why not destroy her biggest dream. She has always wanted to become a Space Cadet, let’s just take that dream away from her. Her ‘little’ funds were all by lottery so her luck is just as much of a lottery that won’t last.” She said
“Yes, we need to make sure to leave no traces but I will also teach those six to behave as they should have from the start!” He said and walked out as well to go deal with this.”
