The misty desolate forest, had dangers that scared off any lone adventurer and provided a challenge to any experience group of them. Deep within was someone easily soaring through the trees, cutting down the inhabitants of the forest of the dead with great speed, it was a shiny bright red suit of armor.
The armor had an intricate gold trim, with a golden dragons head carved in the center of the chest piece. The sword the armor had carried was a red 2 handed sword with a black hilt, which was equipped to its back. The armor on the legs and arms moved smoothly and gave excellent protection, which was also laced with gold.
The well designed expensive looking suit of armour was cutting its’ way out of the forest. It had cleared out half of the undead in the forest in mere minutes, before arriving at the edge. Where it came upon a small girl with tears in her eyes. She had long brown hair reaching her waist and dark brown eyes.
As the suit of armor walks up to the crying child with strong and loud steps. The clanking of the armor emitted strength, as it approaches with a powerful presence.
The girl notices the blight crimson armor and had stopped her crying. She looked at it with amazement, seeing such a fancy suit made her speechless. She snaps back to reality when she realizes it had approached her. Holding back her tears, she pleaded to it with a request.
“Please! T-there are monsters attacking my village! My parents are still there!” The girl pleaded as tears begin to roll down her eyes yet again. The suit of armor kneelt on one leg to face her, now looking at each other face to helmet. The armor gave the girl a sense of security with its impressive aura, as she started to calm down.
“I will save your family and village.” A calm voice emerged from the armor. It seemed gentle and kind, but there was no expression shown. The little girl had half expected for the helmet to be taken off, but her expectations were at fault.
The armor rose up from his knee and started to turn and head in the direction of the village. As it did so, the girl spoke up with admiration in her voice.
“I-I’m, Sarah! Can, I know you name?” Sarah shied away with a slight blush, as she glanced back up for an answer. The armor turned slowly facing her, as it spoke up.
“I’m Earth, it’s quite a usual name. Isn’t it?’ Earth spoke with a casual tone, as he turns back around to head off towards the village. Sarah who was behind him, stared at him with deep respect. As he trotted off towards the village, but for normal people his speed was incredible. In Sarah’ eyes he just vanished into thin air, leaving no trace.
“woah…” Sarah muttered in amazement. She started rushing to the direction of her village as well, wanting to see Earth in action.
Moving easily with amazing speed, Earth passed through all sorts of terrain within minutes. He had run-ins with several undead easily exterminating them in seconds as he slices through them along the way. In his mind he thought about the run-ins with the undead and it made him realize that the reason the undead were attacking the village, is because they were just running away from a greater threat, it was him. He had single handily annihilated most of the undead populace in the forest.
When in the forest Earth had notice that the encounters with undead became fewer and fewer as he proceeded towards the direction out of the forest, it was all thanks to him that the undead were leaving the forest.
He unknowingly herded the undead out of the forest, which was the reason he had saw a sudden decrease of undead encounters. To the undead, Earths’ very presence was a presence that was so intimidating they decided to avoid him, as he had been slaughtering them all.
As he continued onward Earth had noticed smoke in a distance which made him increase his speed. In the next brief moments he had terminated several undead as he closed in to the village, where the villagers were defending a big house, which seemed to belong to the village leader. They had blockade the door, and had men with sticks defending the windows. Further inside were the women watching over the children.
The village was infested with undead, but they weren’t all roaming around in one place. This was no problem for Earth, he had already killed them in the thousands while he was still in the forest, and he had also dealt with all the undead along the way here.
Earth had suddenly appeared behind the undead horde that was unleashing chaos on the villagers defending the big house. The house was built on a small hill which was now littered with undead.
Earth attracted the attention of the men who were defending the windows of the house. The house had been surrounded by 100 or so undead but they seem to have not noticed him, on the other hand they seem to have been more focus on killing the easier prey. The villagers on the hill had begun to call out to Earth, who was standing a short distance behind the horde.
“Hey you! Get out of there!!”
“Wait! Look at what he’s wearing, he must be strong! Help us!” One of the men concluded that Earth was some one that had skills that were excellent, judging from the armor he wore. In this world you either had to be rich or strong to have the means to get a full set of plated armor. Most adventurers never make it big, the few that do, don’t usually go out and buy a full set.
Earth reaches to his back for his sword, he catches the attention of several undead who were at the back of horde. They came in charging from eight different directions, four on his right and four on his left side. Earth rockets in to his right side, his charge meeting them first, as his slash cuts through all of them. The slash was so powerful it sent a razor sharp wind cutting through the undead behind the initial four. He then vanishes, emerging to the right slashing those four with even greater speed, eliminating a chunk of the undead along with them.

The undead that were at the front of the horde have begun to notice Earth. Who had killed half of them within moments, he casually walked through them with great battle prowess. Tearing through their armor like wet pieces of paper.
The villagers were in awe as they watched the spectacle every time Earth swung his sword he would kill at least ten of them. The undead were nothing but numbers that added to his kill count. The villagers had become more relaxed and some even started cheering, even before the battle was done. The villagers were now safe, now that the reminder of the undead horde turned their attention to Earth.
After several more minutes, Earth had destroyed all the undead that remained, there was nothing left except for their corpses.
Earth was now standing in front of the big house containing the villagers with his back turn to them, under his feet were numerous corpses, broken armor, swords, and limbs.
The villagers silently came out of the house, still in shock. Some started to admire him, some respected, others did both. A tall man with well-built muscles approached to greet him. Thanks to this form, Earth was tall enough see over him, the height also gave him a more intimidating look.
“My thanks to you adventurer! We wouldn’t have been able to get out of that mess in one piece if it wasn’t for you!” The man expresses his gratitude with sincerity, as others behind him follow suit. The children where all showing their excitement on seeing Earth, they all have started looking up to him.
“It’s no problem.” Earth says with a relaxed tone. The villagers didn’t know why an undead army just appeared out of nowhere and were still confused about how it happen, Earth on the other hand had no intention of telling them he was responsible.
The villagers had offered to reward him, but he wasn’t interested and was about to leave for the capital. At that moment Sarah had approached him with her parents, to give him their thanks once more.
“Thank you for saving my parents.” Sarah says with utmost respect, as Earth pets her, than continuing on his way. Once again he seemingly vanished into thin air, as he was headed towards the capital, but decided to wait before entering.
“She should be waking up right now.” Earth finds a spot underneath a tree with greenery surrounding it, as he leisurely laid on his back.
-Zadia POV-
Three hours has passed since Zadia had fought the stone dragon, the pain she had to endure was too much for her causing her to faint. She had slowly started to awaken, realizing all of her pain seemed to have faded. She opened her eyes slowly, but notices she couldn’t mover her body.
[Huh? Why can’t I move?]
“It’s simple, because I’m in control of your body right now.” A voice emerged from her mouth but it sounded different from her voice. The voice was very familiar than it clicked in her head.
[Earth? Why are you processing my body? And why is my body different?] Zadia pelted earth with a barrage of questions.
Earth ignores Zadias frustration and leisurely starts talking.
“I’ll start from the beginning, I had forgotten to tell you about a heroes potential.” Earth gave out a deep sigh as he told Zadia what made heroes so special.
Its true heroes start out the same as others, but heroes can pass a limit that those with normal souls can’t. When Earth told Zadia the dragon hero was 3 times stronger than her, he meant his soul was 3 times bigger.
The size of a soul shows how powerful someone can be, in other words how much potential someone had. A heroes’ soul is six times bigger than a normal soul, which means heroes can access more power.
Which means an average person can only access 5 percent of their true potential, above average 10 percent, and excellent fighters like Julianne can access 25 percent of their true potential. A regular hero can reach 30 percent of their true strength. The dragon heroes’ soul could reach 90 percent. At 50 percent a hero changes into a more powerful form
Of course the other gods reincarnated their heroes into more powerful beings to allow them to become stronger a lot faster. The weakest dragon was at 15 percent, average dragon 20 percent, above average 30 percent and so on.
It all depended on the size of their souls, Zadia soul had multiply by five merging her soul with another’s that was powerful, reaching 150 percent. Which allowed her body to be able to harbor Earth for 24 hours, but any longer than that and she would die.
Zadia as she was right now could only use 50 percent of her potential of 150 percent with the help of the ring, it was better than her 20 percent from before. Earth had mention to her if she increases and uses her potential fully at 200 percent she would become a demi-god. An average god would be 300 percent and so on, but Earth never mention how powerful he was. Earth made Zadia realize that she had power but didn’t know how to use it fully.
Earth could only enter her body now because the soul merging had temporary allowed the use of her full power, and the reason why Earth was possessing her, was because he could use her souls’ potential of 150 percent correctly and wanted to show her how powerful she really was. The power he had been using up to now had all belonged to her. It was to motivate her, without him actually saying it.
“Hmm… shall we go find some fun in the capital?” Earth gets up slowly as he speaks in a mischievous tone.
[F-fun?] Zadia thought nervously
“Well, lets’ get going.” Earth changes back to his casual tone.
