“So than explain to me. How I am this Goddess of Earth?”
“That is who you always have been. The only reason you thought you were Lucas was because you lost your soul. Well most of it” Earth pauses for a moment.
“What do you mean by that?”
“Someone absorbed it when they killed you. Lucky for you some of them are in this world.”
“They? Who is they? Also why should I care about them now? What was the point of all this?” Zadia asks filled with confusion.
“When you were Yphion, you would torture the souls that were simply stuck and could not go either to haven or purgatory. You didn’t destroy them right away like you were supposed to but instead took pleasure in it. This kind of thing of course was not allowed.” Earth smirked.
“W-what!?”
“You were one of the main gods. That look over the one of the prime worlds. The strongest gods can create other worlds but not souls. In other words the prime worlds create souls to inhabit these different worlds, so that the worlds do not pass their capacity.” Earth said while smiling at Zadias shock.
“Impossible! I would never do that!” Zadia denies as Earth continues on without a care.
“The other gods took note of this but didn’t openly reject it. Instead they had talks of how to strip you of your powers and your punishment. They didn’t want to kill you right away because you would just reincarnate. Afraid you might seek revenge they created a new world thousands of years prior to killing you.” Earth states as he pauses waiting for a reaction.
“Why would they do that?”
“To trap you here. You can’t be reborn without a soul and you can’t do that without a soul capable of reincarnating.” Earth pauses for a moment in thought before continuing. “The reason for that is because you were a specter without a soul and for that very reason you took the soul of Lucas as your own. Taking over with only your will left”
“Wait I don’t understand.”
“If they stick you here. When you die you would wonder this place for eternity, not able to come back to life and take back what is yours. Also you can’t merge with regular souls because they are too weak and would be destroyed in the process.” Earth casually mentions.
“W-wait. So that other soul I merged with. The one with the female knight she was able to reincarnate also?” Zadia asks curiously
“Oh. Her. She was the goddess they tested this on. Also she was one of your closest friends. You don’t actually think they would do this unless they were absolutely sure it would work right. I believe her name was Peyja. She could have possibly have taken over considering she was another god. Good thing I was there.” Earth mentions casually.
“Peyja was the opposite of you but she believed you were a good person and cared for you.” Earth shrugged his shoulders.
“She wasn’t the only one they experimented on many of your friends were punished for your actions. At first it went unnoticed, since gods don’t really have sense of time, but you started to sense something was wrong from the actions of the other gods.” Earth stated.
“W-wait why did they do that?”
“If I use their excuse it would be “Because you torture helpless souls” and so on. Instead I’ll tell you their real reason. They were afraid you would become stronger than them one day. Even though you didn’t openly seek strength they knew you could easily surpass them. This was to prevent that.” Earth said uncaringly.
“Wait so why are you helping me? If I’m evil?” Zadia questions her voice full of suspicion.
“Like I said it is up to you to remember me. Until than you can call me Earth.” Earth grins
“So you are telling me. That I am a goddess that tortured souls as a pastime. Than had all my friends were punished for it. I than was killed, seeking out a soul afterwards. Which I found, since my soul was extremely weak at the time. I took on the souls desires, will, and so on.” Zadia pauses for a moment thinking.
“Now that your soul has gone through some training. You regained some of your past self. The more potential you unlock the more the truth will be revealed.” Earth says with nothing more than a smile.
“So. Why do the gods hate you? Do they actually know if I’m Yphion or not?” Zadia gets more confused the more Earth reveals.

“They don’t know it really is you. The dragon hero target wasn’t you at the time. He wasn’t gathering forces to target you. No one knows who you are…yet. Don’t worry though they are still hunting you.” Earth gives an ominous smile at the end.
“I don’t get any of this.” Zadia says in frustration
“Well question time is over. It is about time you resume your training. It is really up to you whether you want to learn more about your past or not. You can fulfill the holes in your memory only if you want.” Earth
“What does that mean?”
“It’ll come to you eventually. After your training it will be awhile before we meet again. That is if you decide you want to know. First you will have to understand the world you live in currently before you can understand the world you used to belong. The gods are similar to humans after all. Good luck.” Earth snaps his fingers the surroundings changes around them.
Zadia watched Earth disappear along with the place she was just in. Thee surroundings change to the hellish place Zadia trained in.
“I didn’t get any of that.” Zadia mutter to herself once as again as she thought to herself moments later she came to a conclusion.
“I don’t care about any of that. I’ll just live how I want. There was no point in me worrying about these heroes in the first place!” Zadia calms herself with this thought. “I’ll just train for now. There is no reason for me to bother with revenge or any of it! I’m not even sure if he is telling the truth or not.”
“There is no reason for me to seek any revenge. Also there is no reason for me to believe anything he said. I shouldn’t trust him. If anything I should seek out the other gods and learn more from them.” Zadia stated as she struts into the chaotic world Earth left her in for training.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A couple months had passed since Earth told Zadia she was a goddess. At that time she had taken a second look at her life up to now. She had realize that she had no real knowledge of this world other than stories and legends. This made Zadia see the importance of having knowledge since without it she couldn’t take control of her life.
“Zadia. I need to talk to you about something.”
A voice emerged from her open door as she stared at the ceiling lying in her bed. She straighten up sitting to face the direction of the voice and saw that it was Julianne. She had a worried look on her face and seemed hesitant about something. Zadia had an idea on what it might be, considering her personality differ slightly from before.
“Is something wrong?” Zadia responded unconcerned.
“It’s about your future. I think it’s best to send you to the academy in Atania. It’s safe and there is also a possibility they would teach you magic. It is a neutral country after all. You won’t have to worry about any more battles or monsters.” Julianne pauses for a moment noticing Zadias Silience. “I mean you can always become an adventurer later on in life. After the marriage proposals are settle. You will attend the school for four to six years. It seems like a long time but it isn’t.”
“I’ll love to go to the academy.” Zadia responded with a smile.
“You do?” Julianne replies in shock. She had expected Zadia to be upset or something similar. She was awe struck that Zadia was willing to go to the academy. The reason why Julianne wanted Zadia to go to the academy far away from Rowien was because she noticed Zadias change after the dragon fight.
Julianne had been worried that she had been traumatized by the event and wanted her to forget about it by sending her to the academy. There she wouldn’t be reminded of the event as much as she would be here. This was the conclusion she came to by herself.
“Don’t worry about me mom. I’ll be just fine.” Zadia tries to ease her worries with a smile.
“Um. O-okay. You sure you are fine with this?” Julianne asks again waiting for Zadia to change her mind.
“Yes. I’m fine.” Zadia lies back down onto her bed.
“O-okay…I love you. Good night.” Julianne exists slowly and closes the door behind.
“Did I do something wrong?” Julianne mutters to herself quietly before walking down the hall.
