[07:00] [11/10/1276] [Pallet town, Kanto]
‘Ugh, i feel like i’ve been hit by a train, where even am i right now?’ Said a young boy while looking around the room he was in.
He was in a small bedroom, with space for the bed he currently was in, a desk with papers and a lot of items on top of it, one small chair in its front and a wardrobe to the side, a window was beside the bed illuminating the whole room while a wooden door was in the other side of it.
Then he fell in a trance while still in his bed, memories he shouldn’t have known started flooding his mind, Oak, Gary, Ash, Leaf, Red, everyone in pallet town, pokemon, the league.
His nose immediately started bleeding and he passed out in the bed.
The door was slammed open ten minutes after he was out cold and a boy that looked to be the same age as him walked in while shouting, “Big Bro, you need to wake up already, gramps is telling us to…. BIG BRO!!!!”
He immediately rushed over the passed out boy and put his hand over his brother’s mouth, “He’s breathing, i need to call gramps or big sister right now.” Said Gary before leaving the room his passed out brother stayed.
[07:15] [11/10/1276] [Pokemon center, Viridian City, Kanto]
Professor Oak couldn’t believe his morning had been as chaotic as it was, firstly he had to prepare for that surprise, and now his grandson had passed out because of some shock to his brain, it didn’t seem to be an attack to his family, but it was still suspicious nonetheless, at least his grandson was stable now.
“Nurse joy, you’re 100% sure this wasn’t any type of attack against us from your analysis?” He said to the pink haired woman in his front.
“No professor, it is more like he had too much information affecting his brain at once. I’ve also never seen anything like this before, but you don’t have to worry anymore as chansey has already healed his brain the most she could. If we try to heal it more than we already have, it might cause an anormal growth in his brain by the excess of healing energy. We just need to wait now.” Said the woman while checking the vitals of the young man in the bed.
Professor Oak sighed before saying, “Okay, you know way more about these things than me, i’ll go back to Pallet Town for now. Immediately contact me when Bruno wakes up.”
“Of course, professor.” Said Nurse Joy while she still kept looking at the young boy’s vitals in the medical equipment.
[10:30] [11/10/1276] [Underground lab, Viridian City, Kanto]
“Do you have an idea on how long it will take to finish it?” Said a middle aged man that had light brown colored hair and wore a black suit with red details.
“From my calculations it should be done in around 8 months, if sir wanted it to be done faster, we could press further and take it out a few months earlier.” Said a bald scientist wearing a completely messed up lab coat, he also only had one of his shoes on.
“There’s no need for that Doctor Brine, you’ve been doing a wonderful job in this great experiment we’ve been doing, i would never want to press you and your assistants further. Take your time and make sure you don’t fail, all expenses in here will be paid by me.” The man said while getting closer to a glass wall in the far wall of the lab.
“We don’t need to rush, everything is working out so far, right? Mewtwo…”

[10:42] [11/09/1276] [Middle of the sea, Hoenn]
“Honestly, how can we not find this damn sea cave! It’s supposed to be grand enough to fit a whole fucking wailord sized pokemon and we still can’t fuckin find it!” Screamed a tall and tanned man, he is currently wearing blue clothes and has an anchor with a rainbow stone as a collar around his neck.
“Boss, please, calm down. Sir Robert has found some clues that it should be around in this area and we’re also working in that other project by the sidelines.” Said a woman wearing the same palette of clothes as the leader.
“Look here, i’m trying to keep it in you know? But that fucking lava old fucker already found the lava lizard place in that damn mountain. While i’m here needing to find a big ass cave in the sea floor and so far i’ve only found starmies chilling in the sea.” He said getting even more red out of anger.
‘Ah, why did i even enter this team, the boss is a mess and all the grunts don’t even understand what we’re doing. I should see if there’s a better place for myself out there.’ Thought the woman.
[15:47] [11/10/1276] [Pokemon center, Viridian City, Kanto]
Bruno slowly opened his eyes while trying to understand what happened, ‘Man, i really need to stop passing out every chance i have. Anyways, at least i got some good information out of this.’ He thought while analizing the rush of memories he received through the headache he was feeling.
‘I’m basically the same as i was in my god body, only a little smaller because of my age in this world, this universe made a perfect copy of me, a mini me, this version of myself also has good connections with everyone important, like the Oaks, which are my family, Ash, some professors from outside of kanto and even Drake knows me by name.’
‘And i also told Oak about the same favorite pokemons i’ve always loved, it also appears this world is already open to other regions even before ash set off from pallet.’
Bruno started feeling better and analyzed his surroundings, he was in a place he could confidently say it was a clinic room of sorts. Most decoration was in the tones of white and red, he was currently in one of the best beds he ever used before and in his front was some chairs that seemingly were recently used from their placements, a table was on his right, a tv was on top of a hack at his front and a lot of medic equipments were attached to him on the left side of his body.
Bruno then started pondering after he discovered some mechanics were different in his memories than the ones he saw in the games and anime.

‘Apparently moves, abilities, type energy and pokemon in general are not the exact same as shown in the games and anime, but i’ll see it for myself later on, i wonder ho-.’ He was immediately interrupted as Nurse Joy came in running through the door while a big pink round mass of cuteness followed it.
The rounded cutie pointed at Bruno while saying, “Chansey chanse.” And Bruno felt like she wanted him to stay put and not get up from the bed? He wasn’t one hundred percent sure.
“You’re finally awake, your grandpa, brother and sister have been worried sick about you. How are feeling right now?” This pink haired woman asked him while also rapidly tapped some message in a cellphone like thingy.
“My head is hurting a little bit, that’s the only bad thing i’m feeling right now.” He answered truthfully.
“That’s good, chansey and i will do a quick scan on you, your family is already coming by.” Said Joy before she started proding him with some equipment which already were in the room while chansey helped in picking some items and giving it to her while also showering Bruno with a warm white light from time to time.
After 10 minutes, he started hearing heavy steps in the outside of his room.
“BIG BRO!!!” He saw a fit young man with one of the spikiest brown hairs he had ever seen, his eyes were really expressive and he was crying rivers while he runned through the room and jumped on top of Bruno’s bed.
Well, he tried, because he stopped in the middle of the air floating while chansey had a purple aura around her tiny hands, she calmly lowered Gary to the ground beside the bed while staring daggers at him. He seemed to be unfazed by it and ran fast in the direction of Bruno and gave him a side hug.
“Big bro! I thought you were gone for good this time….sniff….you were out cold, gramps kept telling you would be okay but it was still scary to have this chance to lose you…sniff.” He said while crying on Bruno’s shoulder.
Bruno then felt a strange sensation of care and love coming from himself, like this young boy was one of the most important indivduals for his body, he then thoguht, ‘This body apparently cared a lot about Gary, it’s okay, i’ll take care of him from now on.’
“I’m sorry for worrying you so much, but it’s okay now, Joy already said i’m 99% okay, i just need to not go overboard with pushing myself these next few days.” He said while patting Gary in the head, he immediately saw two more people entering the room in that exact moment.
Daisy Oak and Professor Oak looked at him while having their faces full of tears, they were a complete mess right now.
“Family hug?” Bruno said while opening his arms wide and receiving a tackle from the three family members he got out of nowhere.
He immediately thought back to his family from earth and felt a warm feeling in his heart, ‘This is not as bad as i thought it would be.’
[16:10] [11/10/1276] [Pokemon center, Viridian City, Kanto]
“So i’m good to go now?” Bruno said to the nurse joy in his front.
“Yes, you can go, just don’t forget to eat well and don’t make any kind of heavy exercise for at least three days, if you feel any discomfort just call my number.” She said while both of them were in front of the pokemon center.
“Chanse Chanse.” Said the doctor of cuteness that he should go to sleep as soon as possible.
“Yes, joy and doctor chansey. I’ll be okay and thank both of you for helping me out, see you later.” He said while going in the direction of the parking lot to the side of the pokemon center, directly heading to his grandpa’s car.
He quickly entered the front seat and started talking.
“Thank you for the help everyone, i don’t really know what happened but i guess i’m good now.” He said while fastening his seatbelt.
“That’s exactly what we want, now let’s go back to pallet town so we can decide on a little something i have for you.” Oak said while chuckling.
“Eh, what is bro get-” Gary was quickly stopped by Daisy’s hand almost suffocating him.
“It’s a surprise you idiot.” She whispered to Gary, who nodded in panic.
They quickly passed through one of the few avenues that existed in kanto, this one was really short and only connected Pallet to viridian while also maintaining a lot of the forest parts in the route.
While they were quietly going through the avenue, Bruno was thinking of some things, ‘So i’m 16 with gary having his 16th birthday in january, Daisy apparently is 20 and works together with gramps in his lab. The league in every region starts in january and finishes in the middle of november, leaving one month and a half for everybody to rest.’
‘So we’re currently in the end of this year’s league, so if i want to set out in a journey, this would be the perfect time to prepare everything.’ Bruno then heard the car stopping and noticed they had arrived in front of his gramps lab already.
“This was fast, i didn’t even notice we had already arrived.” He quickly looked around and saw the sight of the city around him, his gramps was a big building mostly made of bricks and metal with a ceramic roof attached to a windmill that overlooked a grand part of the town, he guessed that around 500 people lived in this town from it’s size, it looked like a really calm country town.
“Yeah, you were zoning out a lot, did you passing out take off some screws off your head, little brother.” Said Daisy while giving him a shoulder massage.
“Probably, i still feel a little groggy from the last healing chansey gave me.” He said while all of them started entering the lab.
“Yeah, i know. I remember vividly when i broke my leg and had to stay over at the pokemon center for a week, it was horrible.” Said Gary.
“Well, kids, can you let me and Bruno talk alone for a little while, i have some things i need to talk to him.” Gary looked confused, while Daisy quickly nodded and pulled the young boy by the ear, leading him to another room.
“Hahahah, this Gary is still a kid at mind even though he’s almost 16, i hope you will keep an eye on him while traveling Bruno.” Oak said whle looking at Bruno with a questioning gaze.
“I think it would be better if we travel separatedly, if he keeps clinging to me that much it would be even more difficult for him to change for better.” Bruno said while also chuckling, “So gramps, what do you need to talk with me?”
Oak immediately gave Bruno a huge grin while speaking, “I thought you would have understood it already, tell me grandson, how old are you right now.”
“I’m 16 right n….” Bruno immediately opened his eyes wide, “Already? I thought i would only receive one in the beginning of the next year when everything starts again.”
“Why would you wait that much when you can already be bonding with your future partners?” Oak said.
Bruno turned his head to the side, “Partners?”
“Partners!” Oak said while asking him to follow.
They quickly passed through a lot of tables full of documents with data and some high tech equipment tailored for pokemon, pokeballs and items and arrived in a giant machine in the end of the lab. On top of a table to it’s side, Bruno could see there were two different pokeballs, one was a heavy ball and the other was a cherish ball. There was also more items above it like a green and black colored bag, some kind of black belt, some items seemed to already be in the bag and one little thing Bruno always dreamed of seeing in his front in both lives, a real pokedex.
“Well, let’s begin by saying i had a lot of trouble with your favorite pokemons you told me about, Cynthia couldn’t hand me her best ones since the little dragons had already choosen their trainers, and the little ghost you also love is kinda not really the best decision as a first pokemon, but i got the perfect one of your other favorite.” Oak said while taking the heavy ball and throwing it up in the air.
The pokeball opened and a red light darted out of it, when it hit the ground it started materializing into the form of an oval shape with a metal body detailed by black stripes around it and green spikes jutting out of itself, it’s height was around 80 centimeters, a little taller than most of his species, he also noticed two bright yellow eyes were looking directly into Bruno’s own.
Bruno immediately knelt in one knee while trying to hide his excitement, “Come here Ferroseed, let me see you up close.” The ferroseed hesitated for a moment before he hopped sideways and rolled in the ground until he reached his front and then hopped to be up straight again.
Bruno slowly and carefully aproached his hand towards the ferroseed direction, the pokemon was apparently scared because he thought it would hurt Bruno, but he expertly maneuvered around the spikes and cautiously petted the steel of the ferroseed.
“Ferro! Ferroseed!” Ferroseed squinted his eyes in delight since it had been ages since someone tried to pet it, everyone that tried before ended up cutting their hands and then never approached him anymore.
“I feel like we’re gonna be great partners, eh buddy?” Bruno said while getting a nod from the pokemon which couldn’t stop spinning in happiness.
“It’s good to see both of you are doing pretty well, but i still got this lady for you.” Oak said while also throwing the cherish ball up high in the air.
It emitted an even more dazzling red light and started forming a pokemon in his front. She walked on two legs, also reaching the amazing height of 1 meter, had scales through almost the entirety of her body, a tail which was almost the size of herself emitting a flame at its end, Bruno also noted one important thing, she was yellow.
Oak grinned and said, “Can’t let you receive your starting trainer pack and not a starter pokemon of the Oak Lab, right?”
