‘What is this shit?!?’ Bruno tried to speak but he couldn’t utter a sound, he felt like his whole body had shut down on him while he kept feeling like magma was running around his body, this feeling irradiated from his heart and went to every cell he had.
It kept assaulting him for hours while he stayed put in the chair he had been writing his skills.
When it finally started subsiding, he actually didn’t feel any exhaustion, he instead felt energized, like nothing could stop him now.
“That hurted like hell but now i feel even better than before, this is so strange.” He said as he jumped a little bit to feel this weird increase in strength.
All the gods started checking him out after it ended, some even took out notebooks from the air to take some notes about what they saw.
[That’s because my divine energy has encompassed your whole being, i’ve infused your divinity seed with my energy, now it’s like you have a part of me in yourself, hehehe]
[But the first thing you have to do now is ask me to show your status and also tell all the gods that want to pull you to their factions to go do their own things, i alone am enough to show you around.]
Bruno finally started looking around and saw that every god was looking at him like he was a lamb, he coughed once and said, “I’ll have a look around the city by myself, Divine has already pointed me some directions, you don’t have to worry about it.”
He saw some curious eyes around him, some visibly showed a sad expression and some just said to call them later if he wanted anything.
The ones he talked to the most and also helped him like the werewolf, water elemental, blue skinned woman, fire headed woman, minotaur and the patrich gave him a friendly wave before disappearing in front of him.
‘I guess that is some crazy magic shenanigans, they actually disappeared. Divine, where should i go now? And can you show me this status thing you told me about.’

‘The first one seems to help some of my skills do what they do, and the second changed Godhome, let me see.’ Bruno checked Godhome but it was the same in every part of it, ‘Why didn’t Godhome change?’.

‘Aye aye captain.’ He thought and them received an angry image from Divine by stealing her phrase.
Bruno quickly went around the table and the gods that were within this universal meeting room? He didn’t know what to call it. Fastly reaching the door on the other side, it was the biggest door he ever saw in his life, it reached the height of around 100 meters and had a width of 60 meters, it had a full story carved in it, all about the building of some kind of city around an orb in the middle of the whole structure.
Bruno was amazed at the details, he spent a minute analyzing it and then pushed it open, it was much more easier that he thought it would be to open a door of this size since it quietly opened with a simple push made by him.
He then entered the corridor and saw it was even bigger than the door with the decoration being based in white marble and golden details along its path, it was full of giant paintings on the walls and huge chandeliers in the roof.
‘This is definitely one of the most beautiful things i ever saw.’ He was amazed at the whole building by itself and after even more time admiring the place, he then started walking towards the end of the corridor.

“You, put the items we received from ‘Industry’ on the left over there, and you deal with the restock of the items for ‘The Hive’ later on since they bought in bulk recently so i’l need you to contact ‘The Heavenly Gardener’ later on to buy some items for him.” Said a woman with purple hair, she was wearing a purple robe with countless details in golden, she has a fairly fit physique and also quite the beautiful face, the only differential she has from a human is the third eye on her nape.
She was expertly ordering around countless mortals from her realm in the restocking of items needed in her store, which was one of the most famous in the entirety of the sanctuary.

Milena looked at the message for a second and smirked before communicating with the divine, ‘Fufufu, it feels like you’re here to ask something from me, spill it out already oh great divine.’
[Well, there’s a new god that was reborn from a soul and i’m helping him set up some stuff, and he needs a merchant god to have a deal with him for one of his skills to start, and since you’re the best one i know about this kind of thing, i came here.]
Milena closed her eyes in thought before talking to divine, ‘I have no problem in helping your new friend sweetie, but i’ll need to have a little business talk with this young god you’re telling me about, can you guide me to where he is?’

‘Okay, i’m also interest in what god is receiving your full attention, you haven’t talked to me for some decades now.’ Milena said while squinting her eyes at the display.
Milena could now see a little bit of sweat in the tab, or anything that could be it, the display also showed an image of divine with her head down and touching her indicator fingers together.
[I’m sorry.]
Milena immediately chucled and said, ”It’s okay sweetie, we can talk about this while i’m travelling with you, but let me talk to some of my people first before going out.” Her eyes looked up from the display and glowed a bright purple light, immediately everyone working in the store received a message she would be gone for some time. She didn’t wait a second before giving one step and disappearing, only leaving behind a single purple lavender stalk full of flowers in the last place she stood.

“I don’t think any city on earth had as many people as i’m seeing right now.” Bruno was walking on what divine called the main street of the city that was constructed around herself and it was a shock to him.
Humans, elves, dwarves, elementals, ogres, goblins, half monsters, insectoids, void like beings, demons, angels, dragonoids and the list kept on growing. They all walked their own ways without any fights happening between them, each going or coming from side streets that felt more like avenues than anything else.

I won’t even tell you much about the subways when you’re already impressed by the streets, we don’t have cars in here since they are not really needed since they mostly travel through either these subways or through teleportation arrays.]
Bruno kept following this arrow that divine manifested so he could see where he needed to go while analyzing everything about the streets he passed, it was honestly mind breaking, each building was different from the other, some looked like normal buildings he saw on earth, which was only a little part of everything else, buildings of different shapes and materials were everywhere around him, he even saw one that looked like…. you know…..the combo wombo attacker, an almost perfect copy of it.
He kept walking through the main street for some hours before entering a side one and seeing it was more like a living quarters for the rich, it was basically mansions all around with huge gardens around them, the size of said mansions could probably house thousands of people with no problem.
After passing around 30 of these mansions, he finally saw one that had no buildings inside of it, only having the biggest garden he had seen yet, the area itself was probably around 10 square kilometers or maybe even bigger, with a river passing right in the middle of it’s whole extension, he could see there were three gigantic bridges made of wood throughout it. The moment he was in front of it, the arrow immediately changed it’s direction, now pointing at the garden.

“This is way too much, it’s such a big space, the houses i lived in the past were nothing in comparison.” Bruno felt a little overwhelmed from the size of the space he was receveing after doing basically nothing to divine.
[Don’t worry about it, this is basically nothing for me, later on you will probably easily buy bigger ones if you want. Most gods actually prefer staying in their realms, there is not that many gods actively being in this city at the same time, it’s still thousands of gods right now but it isn’t even a dent in the total number though.]
[That harem god they told you about before has around 105 thousand mansions bigger than this one full of his lovers, it’s actually impressive now that i think about this number.]
“Damn, he must be either the happiest or craziest man alive, does he only have so many lovers because he’s the harem god or is it a god thing to have many lovers?” Bruno asked while keeping his focus on the garden around him.
“It’s actually pretty common to gods having a lot of lovers, but there is still some of them that don’t even have a partner, such as myself, fufufu.” Said a sweet melodic voice from behind him.
Bruno turned around and saw a purple haired woman that was drop dead gorgeus, she was almost his height and had a beautiful purple hair that reached the middle of her back, he also immediately saw a display that seemed to show divine’s message to both him and the woman in his front.
[Bruno, let me present you to Milena, she’s also one of my friends and one of the best God Merchant you’ll ever find around here.]
“It’s pleasure to meet you, Lady Milena.” He said to her while bowing to her, it was always a good thing to score some points early on with merchants.
“My my, aren’t you so polite. It’s always a pleasure to meet new gods such as you Bruno, i hope we can have good talks in the future. I heard from little divine that you need a merchant for one of your abilities to work, so here i am.” She said while extending her hand which Bruno promptly took it for a handshake.
“Yes, i don’t know how it will exactly work but you can sell your wares to me and my allies through it. Divine, do you have any idea on how i can activate it?” Bruno asked.
[Just choose a location where you want to be the entrance and try focusing on the ability itself, it should be pretty easy for you to start the process. It will probably be pretty big, also pick a place where it can still expand as well.]
“I see, lady Milena, would you like to help me pick up a good place in this region?” He asked the woman in his front.
“I’d love to help, and you can just call me Milena, it’s fine.” She said while both of them started entering the garden while taling about which space would be the best one.
The place was way to big and had way too much space, Bruno wanted a big region where it didn’t have parts of the garden in it so he wouldn’t destroy any of it, it should also be relatively close to the river.
Eventually he found a good spot in the Northeast central region of the place which met all his wants, it was flat, no gardens that Godhome would end up destroying and the river was a little a distance away in the south but not that far, that way he could easily take a bath in it if he wanted.
“So i should just focus on it? let me try it.” He said while closing his eyes and Milena took a few steps back to let him focus on it.
He started trying to understand where this Godhome was within him, he knew it should be connected to his soul, which was the place where the heat always started in the process of forming his new body and his divinity, so he slowly tried to find it while actively searching for his soul.
He slowly felt something, something that was deep in the heart area of his body, a flame within his being that was currently calm, in his vision of it he could see it was mostly white but had a small gold tree inside of it. While slowly feeling more about his soul, he felt there was something in an orbit around it, he slowly felt what it was and noticed it was something black and metallic, a cube of some material he didn’t comprehend was circling around his soul.
Immediately when he started proding it, he felt something talk to him, asking him if it could set itself in the place he was at. He then understood it was the Godhome and it seemed to have already gained a semblance of sentience, ‘Probably happened because of the title.’ He thought while accepting the activation of the Godhome.
The moment he accepted it’s prompt, something black started seeping from his feet and going towards his front, it began growing more and more into a concave black orb of some type of material that looked like obsidian. It then started rising from the ground, getting as big as the mansions he saw on his way here.
Five meters, ten meters, 20 meters, when it finally reached the height of 30 meters did it stop growing taller, it also expanded into an area of around 1 square kilometer before stopping it’s growth. It slowly modified itself, shrinking in some places and getting thicker in others until in front of them appeared a building with thick black brick walls with small metallic details.
“Is this some type of apartment module for a demon king? It is stylish as hell, so i won’t mind it.” Said Bruno while admiring the building itself, he could see it might have around 7 or 8 floors in it, at least seeing it from the outside, it had a style of a grand manor similar to some he saw on earth but the grand difference was the black brick walls with metallic details within them, which looking from afar, seemed like it were constellations in space because of the metal refraction of the light, a really bright roof which also seemed made of something close to a golden metal and not real gold, the roof also seemed to have drawings made with something red that he couldn’t discern while being far away from it, he could also see a lot of mirrors which only showed their reflection, meaning they could not see how it was on the inside.
Since they were only looking through the front of it, they could only see some areas to grow some plants around it with a big door of around 5 meters in height, made out of a dark wood in the center area of the building, you could see some metallic designs carved in the door of Bruno himself looking down on however dared to touch it.
“Maybe i will actually become a demon king in the future? This entrance door probably already fits any category of it.” He said getting a few chuckles from Milena and Divine.
Both of them came closer to the door and Bruno opened it up, it was completely blank inside, no furniture, no one waiting for him, nothing, only black walls after black walls which were smoothened out instead of the brick pattern in the outside, the ground was something close to the material of the doors, it looked like a one piece of wood made the whole floor, which felt impossible by any normal means, the only lighting in the floor was some hanging lanters in the side which gave a calm serene light to the building as a whole, he could also see some stairs going more and more up right in front of him in a circular pattern, this place they first went in was probably a grand hall of entrance since it had stairs going up to probably all the floors and seemed to connect to lot of corridors that expanded through the mansion.
The air inside of it was really cold, which Bruno thought it was strange since all of the building had black walls, he thought it would normally build up a lot of heat within itself.
Bruno then noticed he could banish or even imprison Milena in this space as she was seen marked as an intruder at the moment, he quickly changed her designation as a temporary ally through the display that appeared to him when she entered. He then thought this must be the security system he installed in it.
While they were looking around, Bruno felt a pull within him, he looked in the direction it was coming from and saw a black gas coming towards him. It stopped in his front and gave a mental request to him of ‘Form?’
“Oh, this is nice. I thought there wasn’t going to be a sentience inside of it after the bonuses i received, you want a form buddy? Let me think…hmmm….can you make yourself as a capybara in a butler outfit?” The moment he requested it, he felt something being pulled out of his soul while the fog in front of him began forming a vortex within himself.
After a few seconds most of the gas had condensed into a form, in front of him he could now see a butler capybara around 1 meter tall, it also walked with only it’s hind legs.
The capybara fastly approached both of them and offered a bow, “It’s a pleasure to meet master and his friend. Master, may i ask you to choose a name to call myself from now on.”
“A name? Well, since you are a capybara after all, i feel like Capi is a good name while also being cute, what do you think?” He asked the form in front of him while receiving a side eye from Melina.
“From now on i am Capi then, what does master need me to do now?” Capi asked.
“Do you know where the trade hub for the merchant god is in here, Melina is here for that.” He said while gesturing to her.
“Of course, let me bring both of you there immediately. Most of the starting rooms our home has are in the first floor for now, you can always change their placement as the master of it.” Said Capi while gesturing to both of them to follow him.
They followed the small capybara through some corridors that had more and more blank rooms and after a few minutes they arrived in a room which had a different structure inside of it.
It was mostly the same room with no furniture, but in the middle of it you could see a round table made of wood with a radius of 3 meters, and floating above it was a small black orb with blue carvings, it had the size of a head, also seeming to be inactive at the moment.
“This is the trade hub, you just need to make a contact with a merchant god and it will show it’s functions to both the master and the merchant god allied.” Said Capi.
“Insteresting, so Melina, this will be something new for me, i hope we can reach a good agreement between us.” Bruno said while getting closer to the black orb.
“Poor me, dealing with trades in a place that looks like it’s owned by some demon lord, fufufu.” She said while picking up Capi to give it head pats. The moment they got closer, she took out two wooden chairs out of a ring she wore.
“Let’s sit and talk a little.” She said while giving Bruno a serious glance.
The moment they sat she started speaking, “I’m gonna be honest with you, i don’t know what is your way to growth from what i’m seeing, but i’ll tell you how ‘money’ works in here so you can understand what you can do.”
She started by holding up three fingers and said, “Money here is basically gained in three ways by gods that are not merchants, the first one is through pillaging or gaining resources from a universe you have and selling it to merchants which you receive it’s price in Divine crystals, which is basically what we have as a base price for everything and said crystals can also help in the growth of your divine energy if absorbed in enormous quantities. The second path is through production, where you buy natural resources and transform them into interesting items later on, there are also some people with abilities that just drop them out of their bodies while walking. The third way is to win someone else’s universe in a war and sell it over, there are a lot of war gods that make money this way.”
Bruno patiently waited for her explanation and said, “I think mine will be mostly the first one, at least in the beginning, let’s just say i can apparently enter in some new universes.”
Melina put her hand in her chin while thinking before saying, “I see, that might be interesting if they are new as you say. Well, i can make a deal with you so i get a first look at everything you want to sell, i also will sell you my wares at a discounted price, i’m sure divine would be mad at me from pulling your leg in this negotiation since you’re new around here and a new friend for her, just treat her nicely, alright?”
“I also won’t mind if you make deals with other merchant gods, as long as i am the first to see what you want to sell, i’ll be sure to put some of my subordinates to keep a look at what function your skill will allow me to do.”
They kept talking about the percentage both of them would be paying and how the checking of his wares would be done, after some time talking about the finishing touches of the deal, Bruno finally felt like they were both getting a good deal of it.
Bruno bowed in front of her before saying, “Thank you Milena, you’re going to help me a lot, let me check how to make this contract and send it to you.” Bruno then started proding the orb of black metal and quickly got a display he could make a contract in, he fastly put in what they had talked about and made a deadline of thirty years for the contract, he then checked it once more before sending it to Melina through a mind message of sorts, he didn’t really know how it worked.
Melina gave a beautiful smile before saying, “At least you’re not dumb to put eons in the deadline, i’d love to abuse you for a long time though, what a pity.”
Bruno felt a chilling breeze in his nape for a second, in sequence Melina accepted the contract and the metal orb hummed to life, it started showing blue holograms all around it that floated in the air, it currently held nothing to sell or buy for now, soit only showed empty displays.
“Apparently me and my subordinates can mark some of our wares and they will appear in this place with their price in it, i can also set up one of this orbs somewhere in my own realm so i can buy your stuff in the same way. Well, it was a pleasure meeting you Bruno but i need to go back to my shop, i hope we’ll make a lot of money together, see you later.” Melina said after putting Capi back in the ground before disappearing and leaving a purple lavender stalk in the ground.
Bruno then picked the lavender up since he felt something from it, he quickly stored it and then looked at Capi, “Can you show me where everything is, i need to know how this place works before i’ll set our first destination.”
Capi quickly bowed to him while saying, “Surely, master, just follow me.”
