Ardgon had been waiting for months by the point and had barely left the guest suite since his arrival. Her Majesty Jamie had informed him that they were on the right path and that they had discovered an entirely new form of energy outside of the assumed master energy which is Qi. Qi is in every lifeform and permeates all forms of matter and was assumed to be the reason for the entire universe and all life.
Some madmen even claimed that the land they live on is but a spec in the dantian of an expert far surpassing any stage of cultivation they were at. Such a thing could theoretically be possible, but was such a mystical thought that everyone has shunned it.
But with this newly discovered energy, this would disprove all of that as a dantian wasn't able to hold any energy outside of Qi. Tests on the energy had been conducted but no information had been passed to Ardgon as testing was still ongoing and there was no reason to inform a lookalike that they were trying to get rid of. The reason he was informed in the first place was to gauge his reaction to it.
A breakthrough in the research would come, but as of now, he was still stuck in the guest suite until further notice.

After waking up, Caleb began to notice major changes to the forest. A normal period of rest would take anywhere from a few centuries to a few dozen millennia but he had been resting for far longer than that. There were even signs of amoeba in parts of the forest. Such a thing would have taken hundreds of thousands of years to come back after what had happened to the planet.
Humans had removed most of the life on Vitalium along with themselves, every form of bombs had gone off. Outdated nuclear warheads along with new technology that could wipe out entire planets by removing the bottom of the food chain and working themselves up had been dropped. Very few bacteria and some mammals would survive, but not for long.
But now there were amoeba in most water sources that could house them.
Putting aside such a huge discovery, Caleb needed to experiment with the seeds from his dreams. If they could truly work, that miracle seed would be a major thing he focused on before moving to another continent.
Caleb began with ideas that would help stabilize his hold on the continent as well as allow easier access to other continents. A plant that would redistribute resources to plants that needed it the most so that greedy plants wouldn't hog them as well as symbiotic plants that would allow plants easier access to information on the surroundings. From the humidity in the air to light levels, the plants could now determine when they would need to become dormant to survive abnormal conditions.

Once those had been created and had their own systems set up so they wouldn't require monitoring, he began work on the seed that would solve most of his problems.
It was a very, very large seed. It was the size of the average bike and was very thin with ridges and muted colors running down its sides. It took so much effort to create that Caleb knew that he would need to rest again after creating another one of them.
Once he had created the second seed, he planted both of them within the surrounding area of the main tree. And with that, he forced as much nutrients into them and fell back asleep.

The game of jump rope had finally ended with a score of 129,473. The guests had all left immediately after congratulating Him. Greta was left to console Him as He had fallen over as He tried to spin around during a jump to get a better look at the audience. Instead, the audience saw Him spin and then faceplant which led to tears being held back as they congratulated Him on their way out.
Having known Him for such a long time, Greta was used to the childish nature but the others would probably have lost what little remained of their sanity after.
After handing over an icepack and sending Him back Greta laid down and tried not to cry. Her entire arm, from the fingertips to her shoulder blade was aching in pain. On top of all that, she needed to catch up on all of the work she missed and also still had to figure out what He had done during his vacation. She decided she would force her staff to focus on the investigation while she caught up on all of her work. If they still hadn't figured anything out she would do it herself.
Greta trusted her staff but knew they wouldn't be able to dig up everything. They were considered lesser than her and wouldn't be taken as seriously when they questioned people, even if they were clearly under her.
After informing her subordinates she got up to look at the pile of work she had to do. She started by sorting everything into two different piles, urgent requests and others.
Starting with the urgent pile, she realized that she had inadvertently let multiple places experience issues. With a sigh, she began to work.

After trying my hardest to not show emotions Greta gave me an icepack and I began to walk home. I had gotten just barely over half of my personal best and then had ruined it by looking at my friends. I thought I had timed it properly but I was wrong. Had Greta sped up on purpose to make me lose? The other times I had done jump rope none of the audience had given away that she ha-
Wait a minute. Why did I try to spin to look at the audience? I had never needed to do that before, because I had always faced the audience. Hahahah! So it was just a mistake on my part! I was almost worried that I would have to kill Greta! She's always been my favorite, but if she had gotten in my way...
But good thing she hadn't! I can't wait until next time!!
