On the way to the next continent, the Ent had learned through trial and error that the best way to cross the ocean and have fun was to create a long, narrow, and slightly curved board with additional appendages for stability underneath. It had fallen underneath the waves and lost direction multiple times while traversing the ocean, but it was all an experience that it enjoyed.
By the time it had finally reached a new continent, it had already mastered the ability to maneuver about with it. With the board being made from its body and physically attached to it as well, it had no issues with falling off or losing it.
It had worked for years on getting things down to its own aesthetic. It liked how green the other continent was, but it didn't appeal fully to itself. It wanted a lazy feeling with a good dash of excitement throughout. And it felt like it had finally found such a thing. Swamps were very entertaining. With the unstable ground that would add bits of fun as you tried to maneuver around the area, and the different platlife that made the land look like a painting with multiple artists. So many different breeds of flowers and trees that would normally never grow so close together were wrapped up in a swampy bouquet that scratched that itch of aesthetic that it had.
Trees reached its shoulders with their beautiful vines that hung to the ground. Muted colors of trees and plants were interrupted with speckles of color from different flowers. It enjoyed being in this environment so much that it wanted to express itself but didn't quite know how to. It felt stifled. But at least, in its eyes, it had created a perfect place of relaxation.
During its expansion process, it tried multiple different styles of plant life, experimenting with its favorite colors and feeling the ambiance of the forest. It felt like something was missing, but it didn't quite know what. A feeling in its core told it that.
It had continued on for several more years and had reached a change in the environment. It had stumbled upon its first ruins of civilization. It was unaware of how to proceed, so it worked around the large city until it felt a call from its creator calling it back.
It began to head for the ocean for the journey back. It took time getting there, but once it had reached the beach it began to prepare to leave, heading into the spray of the sea and entering the ocean beyond the bay. It Paddled through calm waters and rode waves both big and small. With it feeling the forests on both continents, it had a sort of compass that allowed it to get back much quicker.

Once it made it back to the same shore it had left years prior, it waved at the nearby trees and said, "Props for keeping your word, dudes. I'm back in action now." And with that, it raveled its board, came on the beach, and then entered the forest. Heading straight for the creator.

Caleb watched as his child entered the forest and began to head towards him. Seeing its manner of speaking reminded it of the humans he once took care of. While neither he nor it exactly had a gender, both of their thought processes were more of a stereotypical male so he would consider it as such from now on. The way he interacted with the forest was very informative of his personality as well.
Despite being an Ent, a being able to phase through plant life, he worried about every step hurting the surrounding trees. His height reached about half of the giants that dotted the forest. Seeing his careful maneuvering made Caleb feel pride. He knew that his little one would do no harm to the forest that would cover the land. No more need to feel cautious about the future during his naps that grew longer and longer.
Caleb watched him enter the opposite side of the clearing that he lay on. His son turned to him, gave a short bow of acknowledgment, and then looked up and said, "Hey old man, glad to see you're finally awake."
"I'm glad that you're here and well."
"I'll always come when you need me, pops."
Caleb gestured for him to come closer. Once he had reached within arm's distance of him, Caleb reached out and tussled his hair. "I will give you the name, 'Zephyr.' I believe it fits your personality quite well."
The Ent, now Zephyr, laughed and nodded. "I think the name fits well, thank you, pops."
With a nod, Caleb then gestured to the remaining seed in the clearing. "I do not know when your sibling will awaken, but I would rather you stay until they do. As you can tell my absence of your birth, for which I greatly apologize, I am spending great amounts of time in slumber while stocking up on energy." Zephyr nodded.
Caleb and Zephyr began conversing and sharing their experiences with spreading the forest in unhospitable lands.

I've been having so much fun lately! Just recently Greta had finally noticed what I had done while on vacation. While it could be seen as risky, I knew that there would be no issues. The being I had helped had basically gone through a much smaller piece of what had happened to me. The fact it had been alive at all showed that it had a strong will to achieve a better state of existence both for it and the things around it. There would be little to no downsides!
But what I've been really having fun with is watching the workers run to and fro in an attempt to find materials in that universe to build the required machines to communicate. Bringing non-living things into other dimensions was a surefire way of them tearing chunks out of reality itself as they can't exert their presence on their surroundings.
While I think it'd be very fun to interfere and watch what would happen, I don't want to mess with my friend who shares similarities.
