Snow covered the nameless mountain peak and continued to fall silently around Bilan who sat staring out over the frozen landscape. The area was still technically Lucach but so far south, north was the only direction you could travel. Bilan's expression was colder than the terrain. Disgusted by the over abundance of life that swept over the planet during her absence. She could feel the life force of the trillions of living creatures spread all over the land and she contemplated how she would go about eradicating at least two thirds of them. Her attention was drawn to a lone snowflake that had landed on her cheek which led her to observe its siblings falling around her. Although it was her purpose to decimate her mother's creation however she saw fit, it didn't take away from her ability to appreciate its beauty. Suddenly the falling flakes turned black and Bilan watched as the corruption spread and made its way down the peak until the entire mountain looked to be covered in cold wet soot. "Wow, someone was actually here." "You doubt father?" "Of course not, but to think he could feel this thing's presence all the way from Xibalba." Bilan didn't bother to turn to see who was behind her. "That power you wield is deeply corrupt, It would be much more potent in its pure form. You lesser things always taint perfection mistakenly believing you're making improvements before you even understand the full potential of what you have in front of you." "And what do you know of our power little girl?" Livia Bahn walked over and stood in front of Bilan. "It's fleeting, like everything else in this world." Bilan replied. "Oh? Well how about you come with us and tell us about how fleeting everything is?" A puddle of tar began to bubble under Bilan, thick tar like tendrils rose up out of the puddle and wrapped themselves around her. Bilan's cold expression persisted as tar covered most of her body attempting to drag her down into the muck. A pale light radiated from her body and washed over the mountain, eviscerating the tar from around her and purging the corruption from the snow. When the light faded Bilan remained seated. Corrina and Livia barely managed to shield themselves in time. "You seem to have quite impressive abilities yourself." Corrina commented, pulling her giant ax out of a tar puddle. "Share them with us!" Corrina swung her weapon with intention of beheading Bilan but the ax quickly eroded the closer it got to her, bursting into a cloud of dust as it made contact with the Aeon's neck. Confused Corrina jumped back to what she felt was a safe distance. "Just so it's clear you were the first to raise a hostile hand." Bilan announced, ignoring Livia in front of her and continuing to stare out over the tundra. A pale light erupted from the ground and enveloped Corrina in a screaming radiance. The geyser of light concluded and Corrina fell limp into the snow. For the first time Bilan took her gaze off the horizon and glanced back over her shoulder. "Still alive?" Livia pointed her hand at her sister and a puddle of tar formed under her. Bilan waved her own hand and the tar dissipated before Corrina could sink into it. "No. It seems you have more to answer for than unwarranted aggression towards me." Bilan walked over to Corrina's slowly regenerating body and plunged her hand into her back. Livia drew blood from her wrist and used it to paint a symbol on the snow and began speaking the unknowable language. Bilan pulled a blackened wisp from Corrina's body and turned back to Livia. "Your arrogance is abundant." Bilan spewed a beam of light from her mouth at Livia but the beam was stopped short. Thanata appeared above the symbol in the snow and absorbed the light beam. Livia dropped to her knees and bowed her head to Thanata. "Lady Thanata please I beseech thee to honor the agreement between yourself and my father all those blooms ago." "Thanata floated over Livia and looked down at her confused. "What are you talking about and why am I here?" Without raising her head Livia pointed. Thanata turned to see Bilan holding Corrina's soul. "Aour?" Thanata gasped. Bilan didn't answer, she just stared into her sister's eyes. "Bilan?" Thanata took a second to grasp the situation after she realized who she was looking at. "Please return her soul. I have an arrangement with them." Bilan's frigid expression somehow grew colder. "I've made no deals and whatever agreements you've made with these lesser things means nothing to me. And you... the only sin greater than immortality is reincarnation and you've gifted them both to these impudent wretches? You're a disgrace." Thanata's face looked genuinely wounded. "I did it so that what happened to you would never happen again." Thanata explained almost pleading her argument. "It won't." Bilan answered, crushing Corrina's soul into a pile of golden sand and scattering it into the wind. "Nooooo!" Livia screamed. "I'm sorry." Thanata whispered to her before vanishing. Livia's scream was silenced by Bilan's arm being thrust down her throat. Bilan ripped Livia's soul from her body and washed it in a pale light until nothing, not even the sand remained. Livia and Corrina's bodies lay lifeless in the snow as Bilan took her previous seat and looked off over the snow covered landscape. She took a deep breath and once again felt the trillions of lives spread across the planet. For the first time a slight grin appeared on her face and she whispered to herself. "Busy busy busy."
