Oya and Tai sat in an empty white room waiting for Bonrue to complete the preparations for his project. Oya painted her nails with electric blue polish that she borrowed from Ysmay. Tai nervously tapped his foot, periodically glancing over at Oya. "I can feel you looking at me kid, it's annoying. So either knock it off, or spit out what's on your mind." Tai's foot stopped. "Oya?" "Hmm?" She replied, still focused on her nails. "Since I've met you I- I've been able to feel things I've only ever heard people speak about." Oya screwed the cap back on the polish and turned her attention to Tai. "Kid, what are you talking about? '' Tai looked down at his feet as he spoke. "Well to be honest it really started when I met Kash. I found myself caring about what she thought of me." Oya cocked her head to the side in confusion. "And that's....strange?" Tai's eyes remained on his feet. "Well until then, I've only ever really cared about obeying what my mother and master told me to do. I mean at times I've been curious about things, but only if they were right in front of me. But now it's like I have desires of my own. And I don't know what that means, or why it was missing this whole time. I'm even remembering things from my past that I would have liked to do or achieve but gave no thought to at the time." Oya squinted at him as he spoke, taking everything he said in. "It's like a piece that had been locked up inside me all this time has been set free. Even now, me saying all this to you is out of character for me, yet it feels right." Oya opened her mouth to respond but Bonrue and Ysmay came through the door. Bonrue pushing a cart with a machine that resembled a small, smooth, metallic volcano on top of it. Ysmay carried a large yellow slab made out of some unrecognizable material. Bonrue smiled at them both. "Okay guys, let's get started!" Oya and Tai positioned themselves on opposite sides of the machine. Bonrue, Kash, Ysmay, and the other scientists watched from the other room looking through reinforced glass. "Tai I want you to suspended the scale over the machine and hold it there." Bonrue instructed through the speaker on the wall. "The what?" Tai asked yelling louder than he needed so that they can hear him on the other side of the glass. Bonrue buzzed in through the speaker. "The yellow thing. It's a scale." "A scale to what?" Oya asked unsure of what they were about to do. Bonrue buzzed in again. "The first Aeon that existed on Hyunda. Now when I say so Tai, lift it over the machine with your powers and Oya zap it." Tai suspended the scale over the mouth of the machine as he was told. Oya however wasn't so complacent. "Hold on, you can't just gloss over that little tidbit of information like that. What do you mean the first Aeon? Where is it?" "Okay, now!" Bonrue said as he flipped the switch. The machine spewed a violet light out the top that enveloped the scale that Tai held in place. Oya rolled her eyes and shocked it with a bolt of electricity. The electric current swirled around the scale causing the light to turn a bright pink. It was too bright for anyone to look into except for Oya. She watched as the light began to pulse and ultimately dim. As the light faded, everyone stared in awe as a little girl in a pink and black frilly dress, with pink hair and little pink wings floated in place where the scale once was. Tai stepped forward. "Ninti?" The little girl shook her head. Oya frowned in confusion. "Thanata?" The little girl shook her head again and gave the widest grin her tiny face could muster, and jumped into Oya's arms and nestled her face against Oya's chest. "Mama!" She looked at Tai and smiled even harder. "Papa!"
Bonrue, Ysmay and Kashurra stood outside the room, still watching from the glass. "Professor." Ysmay beckoned to Bonrue. "Look at this." She showed him a digital meter of the energy from inside the room. "Is this right?" Bonrue asked in an alarmed tone. "Yes." She answered. "She's giving off way to much energy. We cant let her out of that room. I don't know how Tai and Oya can even be in there with her." Bonrue looked back through the window at the little girl. "If my theory is correct then there's no cause for alarm Ysmay." Kash not fully understanding what was going on just kept her eyes fixed on Tai.

Aour sat in a chair facing Oya and Tai. Her legs being to short to touch the floor swung back and forth as she smiled at the two of them. "So what's your deal kid?" Oya asked squatting down so the two of them were eye level. The question seemed to fill the little Aeon with excitement. "I'm here to help you Mama." She answered gleefully. "And Papa too." She added smiling in Tai's direction. "Okay." Oya began. "Help us with what? And why are we Mama and Papa?" Aour's legs stopped swinging as she pondered the question. "You brought me here right?" She asked. "Well yeah, you can say that." Oya answered. Aour's smile returned. "So, Mama and Papa." She thought for a second. "Ohhh. Unless you're Papa and he's Mama." She looked at Tai for confirmation. "No no. You had it right the first time." Tai corrected. "Oh goody!" She jumped out of the chair and hugged Oya again. Visibly annoyed, Oya gently lifted and sat Aour back in the chair. "Back to my question kid. What are you here to help us with?" Oya asked again. Aour's smile grew wider. "Balance." She answered. Oya and Tai looked at each other then back at Aour. "What do you mean?" Tai asked taking a step closer. Aour's face turned serious. "Well from what I can tell, the humanity that is unique to the two of you as Aeons is being affected by the aspects of nature you represent." Taken back by Aour's sudden change in disposition and speech, Oya took a step away from her. Tai, although equally confused by the way the child spoke, continued to ask questions. "What do you mean "aspects of nature?" Aour looked at Tai and took a moment to prepare her response. "Well Taivero, you are the physical embodiment of the concept of fate. You also possess dominion over the natural force of gravity. Your existence is quite the paradox." Tai was silent as he tried to wrap his mind around what he was being told. "And as for miss Oya." Aour continued. "As I'm sure she is aware. She is the physical embodiment of the concept of free will. And she, like yourself Tai, has dominion over the natural force of electromagnetism. Very fitting abilities for what you two represent." Oya, now composed continued her interrogation. "So what did you mean by balance?" Aour stood from the chair and began pacing back in forth in the room as she explained. "Well, I myself am the Aeon of equilibrium. And I resemble Ninti and Thanata because like death, balance is an essential aspect of life. So you can say we are related, they are indeed my sisters. I, however do not share their childish dispositions but I figured it would be easier for you if I mimicked them. But to continue. Due to an unconscious effort on Taivero's part, the act of summoning me to this plane seems to have gifted me with dominion over the "strong" force of nature. Which upon my departure along with balancing the two of you, I shall gift each of you half of that ability. As for balancing the two of you. It is ironic that the thing that is affecting your humanity is the absence of influence between the two of you. Why this is the case I don't know. But I'm sure you've noticed something inside yourselves has changed upon you meeting." Tai and Oya looked at each other again. "Now." Aour continued. "I shall balance the two of you. The emotional change that shall take place inside you both will be jarring at first, but I'm confident you two can keep it together." Aour pointed her palms at Oya and Tai. She emitted a pink light that soaked into the two of them. On the other side of the glass, Bonrue and Ysmay monitored the energy meter and watched as the immense amount of energy that was radiating from Aour transferred evenly into Oya and Tai. "What's happening in there?" Kash asked. "Revolution." Bonrue answered with a determined grin. Back inside the room the light faded and Aour's hair was now a listless gray. "I have served half my purpose on this plane. You two shall see me again but this is the last time we shall meet." "What does that even mean?" Tai asked. Aour didn't answer him. She just smiled softly and vanished. Tai looked over at Oya who had tears streaming down her face. "Oya what's wrong? Are you alright?" Oya looked at him, eyes full of tears. "I have to find Mul."
