From Akira's Perspective
As I began chanting Basic Fire, I prepared a magical shield.
I finished the chant and released it, but it had no effect.
"Did you really think such a basic spell would work on me?" Pepper taunted as he quickly cast a spell and raised three fingers triumphantly.
"Kyaa!" Sonata and Elise were suddenly bound by vines.
"Now, you're the only one left who can fight. According to the grades, you're the worst among them. I saved you for last," Pepper said with a sinister chuckle.
So Basic Fire doesn't work, huh? Then I have to use a different spell.
"Kamaitachi!"
"Futile!"
He countered with his own Kamaitachi, neutralizing my wind blade.

"Resorting to such elementary school-level magic, you must be desperate. Well then, shall I finish you off first?"
Do I have no trump card left?
My usable spells...
Wait, there’s one thing I haven’t tried yet.
I started chanting again.
"Struggling, are you? No spell you can cast would affect me..."
"Come forth! Summon—Usamof!"
A translucent magical circle appeared before me.
"Finally called me, huh? I've been waiting!"
A wild rabbit was released into the field. It pricked up its ears, sprinted at full speed, and rammed into Sergeant Pepper.
"What? Uh! I underestimated the impact of a physical attack..."
After a swift turnaround, the rabbit charged again.
"Guh!"
The impact broke the enemy's barrier spell, confirmed as his magical hat fell off.
"Now!" Elise shouted.
"I know without you telling me!" I responded.
I chanted Basic Fire and launched it at Sergeant Pepper.
"Guaaaaah!"
Pepper collapsed, and the vines binding Elise, Alegris, and Sonata dissolved.
We had finally won.
The tension drained away, and I slumped down exhausted.
"Well done!" Elise hugged me.
Wait, hold on.
Being hugged by a cute girl... my boyish part was...
Seeing my excitement, she smirked, making me suddenly feel embarrassed.
"You guys really are like a married couple," Sonata teased.
"No, we’re not!" I protested, but I couldn't help smiling.
"Hey! Are you guys okay?" Soldiers ran towards us from a distance.
"You're late!" Alegris shouted, and the area burst into laughter.
