From Akira's Perspective
"Flame Shield!"
Elise quickly finished chanting the spell, and a semi-transparent shield icon appeared in front of us.
"It's hot!"
"Hang in there!"
It felt like stepping into a boiling hot bath, but it wasn't enough to cause burns. Considering we were hit directly by flames, the injuries were minor. So this is the effect of the Flame Shield and magical armor.
"Nice save!" Alegris shouted his support from a distance.
"I'm good at female voice magic!"
It was as if they were cheering each other on like players in a ball sport.
"Don't just stand there! I'm firing another Long Fire," she commanded, quickly taking on the role of a soccer playmaker.
This time, however, the enemy Mage Goblin was also chanting Flame Shield. Our attacks didn't seem to cause much damage.

"Don't give up, keep up the barrage! We must not give the enemy any chance to attack," Elise instructed as she kept casting Basic Fire, her voice nearly hoarse.
I had never thought Elise could be such an effective commander, issuing such precise instructions. If only she had been this serious when we fought the Tutorial Dragon.
"It's no good. My power is halved in this body. I need to do more voice training regularly..." she remarked, as if she'd be incredible if she were serious.
The battle had turned into a prolonged standoff, with both sides maintaining their shields, and neither side's attacks inflicting significant damage.
Just as it seemed like a long-drawn-out battle was inevitable, the enemy's attack pattern changed. Initially, they had targeted me, but now they shifted their focus to Elise.
It seemed the enemy had also realized who was dominating the battlefield.
"Damn, a woman's body is so fragile... It's too susceptible to damage," I lamented, frustrated that I couldn't do more.
All I could do was keep casting Basic Fire.
Then, I sensed something from behind and shouted a warning.
"Watch out!"
"Huh?"
An Assassin Goblin approached from behind, casting an assassination spell. It hit Elise in the ribs.
Alegris quickly took it down with a shout spell.
"Are you okay?!"
"The peritoneum is damaged... It's hard to speak."
"I'll heal you... No good. This injury will take me an hour to heal with my current skills," Sonata said frustratedly.
"We've relied on Elise's magic to fight our way here... What are we supposed to do now?" Alegris pounded the ground in frustration.
