“Its really misty here… i've never seen a lake this big before” Utsuho says as she walks along the shore of the misty lake

She looks around while she walks as she starts hearing laughter.

“W-Who is it?” She says, slightly scared as she sees shadows moving in the thick mist.

“Hehe~ You're really lost aint ya?” Utsuho whips around as she hears someone right behind her… but no one is there

Utsuho starts getting scared so she lifts her third leg into a shooting position

“W-who are you? Where are you?” Her head looks all around her, trying to see a person and for a split second she does and she fires a few balls of energy

“O-OW! Y-you big meanie!” The mist is suddenly way thinner and utsuho can see… a little girl wearing a black dress with wings clutching her head while tears gather at her eyes

“Who are you?” Utsuho is much less scared now that she can actually see, she wonders where the person that was scaring her went

“I-I'm Komi! I'm a fairy you meanie! You shot me! Screw you!” The fairy named Komi stands up and angrily points at utsuho, it's not that intimidating since her glare looks more cute than anything

“O-Oh i'm sorry! I meant to hit the monster.” Utsuho says in a guilty voice as she looks down sadly

“W-Wait… A monster?” Komi asks, severely confused since she knows there wasn't a monster

“Mhm! It was really scary, with its glowing eyes and haunting laughs!” Utsuho does generic scary ghost story gestures as she explains

“But there was no mo- OH!” Komi realizes Utsuho thought she was a monster when she was attempting to prank her

“Y-yeah totally a mist monster, hehe…” Komi laughs awkwardly.

Utsuho continues walking towards the mansion at the end of the lake.

It looked like a stereotypical vampire mansion, once she got in view of the gate she sees a sleeping girl with orange hair that reaches her back, and she's wearing a chinese dress with a green cabaret on her head.

Utsuho finds it funny that she’s sleeping while standing

“Hello~” Utsuho chimes out while waving and walking closer to the girl.

“What's your name?” Utsuho does her little head tilt

“She's asleep you dummy” Komi says as she floats next to her

“Uhm.. hello~ wakey wakey eggs and bakey~... Normally people wake up at that… uhm” she fidgets awkwardly at her failed attempt at waking her up, Komi floats closer

“Wake up china!” She yells into the sleeping girls ear, the girl suddenly wakes up and decks Komi in the face sending her flying

“Who told you to call me that?! Was it Marisa! I'll send you flying!” She's suddenly very angry as she stomps towards Utsuho

“W-Wait I didn't do anything!” She backpedals while shaking her arms in a placating gesture

“Shut up!” The girl slams a fist into Utsuho and sends her into a tree, she looks at her fist after noticing Utsuho’s body felt weird

“O-OW! F-Fine!” Utsuho flies up a bit before aiming downwards and shooting pellets of nuclear energy at her

The girl dashes around way faster than Utsuho can keep up with before running up a tree and using it as a springboard to jump at Utsuho in midair.

“GOTCHA” She grabs the back of Utsuho's head in midair and slams her into the ground when they fall, She flips herself into standing and kicks Utsuho's in the rib into another tree “BLEGH” Utsuho coughs out spittle

Utsuho struggles into a standing position, her hair flares up as she channels more power into her arm cannon and aims at her attacker, but she doesn't fire it she just keeps her third leg charges

The girl charges forward extremely fast while zigzagging to dodge any shots… but no shots come and she grows suspicious.

Finally she gets i melee range and right before she hits her Utsuho smirks

“Hehe… Gotcha!” She swings her charged cannon into her attackers fist like a baseball bat and it causes an explosion that knocks her back, but astoundingly doesn't knock her down

“That was actually pretty good, oh yeah my name's Meiling, i'm the gatekeeper of the scarlet devil mansion” Finally I can say a name, anyway.

Meiling smiles as she introduces herself, seemingly no worse for wear despite just being hit by what's basically a nuclear baseball bat.
