Not hearing a single reply from Faylen, I looked where she stood before I opened the menu. And she was not there. Then, I looked towards Knightglen and saw her slowly walking towards the human town, killing slimes and looting them.
I narrowed my eyes and tightly clenched my fists as anger rose within me. That little brat! I told her to always stay by my side! I thought to myself before running towards Faylen. And when I finally caught up to her, she was a quarter of the way to Knightglen.
“Faylen!” I shouted out and she looked at me.
“You are finally here, big sister Astrid,” Faylen said. Then, she tilted her head slightly to the right. “What’s wrong, big sister Astrid?”
I slowly breathed in through my nose, closed my eyes and held the air in my lungs as I attempted to calm myself down. And I somewhat did. Then, I breathed out of my mouth, opened my eyes. “Faylen, why did you leave my side when I told you to always stay by my side,” as I said, I emphasized the world always.
“After you said – look what is between us and Knightglen and you will see. I have to prepare myself, I did as you said and I saw a lot of slimes. But then, I saw skeletons inside those slimes and I thought that maybe, that just maybe, one of those skeletons belonged to an elf. I got angry, and before I knew it, I was killing the slimes.”
“So you left my side which I said never to leave because you got angry? Faylen, that reason is not good enough. If you left my side to save someone, then that would have been a good enough reason. Faylen, if you leave my side again because you get angry, I won’t chase after you or wait for you to come back.”
Faylen’s eyes widened and she lowered her head. “I am sorry, big sister Astrid,” she said before mumbling, “It won’t happen again.”
“Let’s go,” I said. Then I looked away from Faylen and at one of the many slimes.

Looking into Knightglen through its open gates, I saw a great number of slimes with skeletons floating inside them. And looking even further inside, I saw an enormous slime and I deeply frowned as I saw what was floating inside of it. I saw more than a hundred skeletons, but that was not why I deeply frowned. I deeply frowned because besides the skeletons there were also dead humans, four kinds of dead humans. The first kind had only some of their skin dissolved. The second kind had their entire skin dissolved. The third kind had their entire skin and some of their flesh dissolved.
