The stairs creaked with my each taken step. And the lower I descended, the darker it got. But it never went completely dark as the light behind me shone through the broken door.
After a hundred or so stairs, I was forced to stop as a door appeared in front of me. Is this door the same as the last one?
Putting my left hand on the door’s handle, I pushed. Unlike the last time, the door opened. But even though the door opened, I couldn’t see what was inside that room as it was too dark.
Great. I will have to look in the dark, I thought. But once I took the first step into the room, countless blue orbs appeared out of nowhere, lighting up the entire room and revealing eight bookshelves filled with books on the left and the right side of the room. And a desk in the top-centre of the room.
What are these blue things? Magic lamps? That old man didn't look like a sorcerer and his son Rick didn’t use a single spell when we fought the goblins. That leaves only Liana. Hopefully, she has a map in this room. Let’s start from that desk.
I walked up to the desk. On it laid three books, all covered in dust and enveloped in a golden glow. I started off by touching the book in the middle of two other books. A loot window opened.

A second class? Good. I can now cover the weaknesses of my tyrant class with another class. I looted the book. Then, I touched the book that was to the left of the book I just looted. A loot window opened.

Turning around, I looked at the eight bookshelves on the left and the right sides of the room. I will search these bookshelves and then I will go and dig up Liana’s grave…
Going from one bookshelf to the next, I looted all the books that seemed even a little useful. These useful books were either profession or class books. For profession books, I got books that taught herbalism, mining, skinning, tailoring, sculpting, enchanting, armorsmithing, weaponsmithing, alchemy, leatherworking, scavenging, first aid, cooking and fishing. As for class books, I got books that taught base classes Sorcerer, Priest, Archer, Assassin, Paladin, Knight, Fighter, Berserker. And unique classes Necromancer, Blood Mage and Summoner.
Clicking my tongue, I mumbled, “I didn’t find a single map in this entire house.” I shook my head in disappointment. Then, I opened the menu and from it my inventory. I read the book <

I will change my race and learn a new class after I dig up that body. I closed my inventory and then the menu. I walked out of the room and all the blue lights darkened, submerging the room into complete darkness.
Before walking up the creaking stairs, I glanced behind my shoulder to look at the room I just left. I walked out of the house and made my way to the graves of the old man, Rick and Liana.
Looking at the three graves in front of me, I shook my head. I can’t do it… I know that this is a game and that you all are soulless programs. But please rest in peace… I opened the menu and from it my inventory. Then, I read the book <
