-.-.-Chapter 4-.-.-

My silence, and undoubtedly my shocked expression must have brought my parents out of their shock at my last statement because they were both kneeling next to me with looks of concern, my dad shaking my shoulder.

"Lad what is it, what's wrong?" he asked, concern evident in his tone and a worried look on his face that my mum mirrored.

"I…" I said before swallowing, "I have just, apparently, unlocked my system," I explained, making both of them blink before they started to smile. I had of course explained in the past what Systems were, and how I had read about people like me getting them when they were reborn, clearly they were happy that I had now gotten mine, though why it only unlocked now I don't know.

"Well that's good isn't it, you always complained about not getting one," my mum mused with a smile as she let out a breath, obviously no longer worried that it was something bad.

I nodded as I watched the counter on the screen slowly tick up, "yeah, it's installing now, I just hope I won't get saddled with a useless system now," 'or one that's completely lewd' I explained, thinking that last part in my own mind. While I wouldn't have been completely against a lewd system, the idea of such things as I currently was, wasn't all that appealing, nor would I even think of doing such with others anywhere close to my physical age.

My dad nodded, "well you'll just have to wait and see, now what was it you said about your headmaster loving some wizard Nazi?"

I chuckled, "well that was the closest thing I could match him to. Grindelwald was the last dark lord before Voldemort. He and Dumbledore grew close in their youth, they made stupid plans in their youth to take over the world together, all in the name of wizard supremacy, but after they were confronted by Dumbledore's younger brother a fight broke out that resulted in the death of Dumbledore's younger sister and Grindelwald fleeing to america. Years later Grindelwald began enacting the plan that he and Albus made together, only to be stopped later by Albus himself." I explained to the best of my recollection, "Albus apparently deeply regrets the part he had to play in Grindelwald's rise and plan as well in his sister's death, and has been trying for the past number of years since to atone for it, at least that is what it appears like, but there are a number things he's done in the past since then that really don't make sense" I explained as I watched the counter tick up to twenty percent.

"Everyone makes mistakes, though it sounds like he's made quite a few by what you're getting at," My dad frowned, "what's got you concerned about him?"

"His handling of Potter for a start, and his failings or apparent failings when it comes to Potter's Godfather, Sirius Black. The man is innocent of the crimes he's accused of, but he was thrown into prison regardless, without even a trial, and has been incarcerated for the past ten years, thus leaving Potter without a proper guardian to care for him, and Albus took it upon himself to place him with his magic hating relatives," I explained.

This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.

Both my parents had hard looks on their faces when my dad asked, "Do they abuse him?"

I braced myself knowing what would happen as I began to explain, "he has spent the last six years, at the very least, cooking every meal for his relatives, tending to their garden, doing every chore they give him, believed he was called Freak until he started school, and his bedroom is a small cupboard under the Dursleys stairs, trying to stomp the magic out of him, which is more likely to kill him than anything else."

The explosion that I was expecting happened the very next second, "What!", "Those monsters!", "A child!", "They're the freaks!" and on and on yelling, and ranting as any decent person would do after hearing about such things happening to a child.

"Where are they? I'll sort them myself!" my dad growled as he looked to me, "you know where they are don't you? We should get him out of there immediately"

Taking a deep breath I nodded, "I do, but for right now it would be too dangerous to do anything for him," I stated calmly as I could.

"And why is that?" My mum asked, clearly not happy with not doing anything.

"Because like I said before, the headmaster placed him there, and I know he has someone watching Harry in one of the houses on the street. He placed Potter there because of the magic of his mother's sacrifice that protected him. The magic protects him as long as he lives under the same roof as another with his mother's blood, his aunt and cousin. I also don't know for sure that the headmaster knows of the extent of the abuse Harry is suffering, though I find it extremely hard to believe he doesn't. He would definitely immediately take action if anyone tries to take him from the house, the magical protections would definitely notify him immediately and then he'd be there in seconds to stop it from happening," I explained, as my system reached fifty percent installed.

My dad took a deep breath, clearly trying to think and calm himself down, "so what do you suggest we do then? Do you have a plan? If not, we need to come up with one. We can't just leave a child in an abusive home."

Taking another deep breath, I nodded, "And we won't, I have some ideas. Potter will be fine for the moment, well finer than normal. His relatives will ignore him for the next month after he gets his Hogwarts letter. They'll even move him out of the cupboard and give him his own bedroom, which was their sons second bedroom,"

"Second bedroom?" My mum said with a snarl, "they had room in their house and still made their nephew sleep in a cupboard!"

I wince, yeah she wasn't going to like this, "Actually they live in a four bedroom house, one master bedroom, one guest bedroom and two bedrooms for their son. One he sleeps in, the other he uses as a dump for all of his broken things." I explained getting looks of shock and disgust from both my parents at the revelation as their anger for the Dursleys only grew.

"Monsters," My mum growled.

"And they call him a freak," my dad snarled, shaking his head, "so he'll be generally okay until going to Hogwarts? What then, will he stay in the school and not go back to them?"

I nod, "for the school year yes, he won't go back except for the two summer months, but I have a an idea of how to prevent that which will both help Harry as well as reveal Dumbledore's true colours on this matter," I said as things fit into place in my mind and my system also reached seventy percent, "and it something you can do while I'm at Hogwarts" I said with a glint in my eye that both my parents matched as vindictive grins were shared around the room.

"Let's hear it then lad, what do you think we should do," My dad grinned as I sat forward and began to explain what I had planned for while I was at Hogwarts, the Dursleys wouldn't know what hit them.
