POV: Kykvendi and Reivi
After the feast thrown in the name of our team reducing the collateral damage from the demon and helping repair the town, everyone was really exhausted. My legs were better. I could walk, but just barely.
I didn't know where to go, I just needed to take a walk so I went to the market again. They probably had stalls open at this time as there would be less people and they could display rarer merchandise, so there wouldn't be as many people auctioning, which either ended in a thief stealing from them or a heated argument and bloodshed. The night air was relaxing and I ended up wandering through the whole market and into the forest that surrounded the town. There was a person covered in long hessian fabric from head to toe.
"I see a lot has happened without my guidance." Him again, I lunged at him and grabbed at his neck, but he countered every attack and slammed me down on the grass.
"And you said you didn't need more lessons in manners." I hated him and everything he stood for, always acting so jolly even in serious times.
"Why are you here?" I looked at him with and bared my teeth. He just laughed and pulled his hood down.
"To see how my favourite student is doing after becoming a demon. Congratulations on that, I trained my students to be calm, collected and abstemious, all of which you failed spectacularly. Though to be fair, defiance of Father is how Mother made demons, after all." He walked over to a tree and leaned against it, took some small parchment, tobacco and rolled it up and put it in his mouth.
"Got a light? Or the ability to produce flame now?" The mocking tone in his voice was so annoying. I ignited my hand and punched him in the face, lighting his parchment and leaving a nasty bruise on his face.
-Good stance, good swing. I'd say he's pretty hurt.-
Shut up!
"There. Happy?" He just started smoking it and exhaling the smoke.
"Whooo, that really packs a punch, How about some wine to go with it?" He pulled out a bottle of wine, pulled out the cork with his teeth and drank it, choked, continued to drink, and then he inhaled some more of his paper.
"So what if I am a failure in your program." I stood up close to him, our eyes parallel to each other. He just spat smoke in my face.
"The program was made as a failsafe, in case you went wild or compromised the safety of the country. Everyone thought you were gonna betray us, which would have been a success. The failure would have meant we could start making preparations to go further than peace treaties and more into full integration with the demons." He was more serious now.
"Well then, I will be seeing you soon." I turned around and started to walk away, leaving my teacher alone.

"Oh, I almost forgot. Here." He threw me a sword. I looked at the blade. It was dull and rusty. Useless piece of shit.
"Hopefully the other people sent to hunt you don't kill you first." I stopped and turned around only to see that he was gone. I had to tell the rest of the group, but how? If I told them I was a genocidal monster, surely they would abandon me. I didn't want them to get hurt because of me. Maybe if I tried to make sure we would end in Zerura where the angels would have no jurisdiction over me. But would that be safe for them? I heard a large animal. It was following me.
I saw the white tiger that the holy knight rode on, only its fur was messier, it looked more feral and it probably was trying to surprise me. I feigned ignorance and it slowly crawled up to me and nestled at my feet despite its gargantuan size. I sat down and cuddled it, which made it purr loudly. "You need a name. How about... Ehiztari?" he nodded blindly at my proposal. I stood up and he followed suit, and I walked back to the inn to tell the others everything, regardless of what would happen.
-I'm happy you're showing your true colors. you're ready to turn around and profess your love for Saethwyr!-
This is about me telling them my past.
-Come on! You both have so much in common.-
What about Saethwyr or me would suggest we're a couple?
-The way you both look at things with rock hard erections of stoicism!-
I do not!
-Right. You just survey your environment. With extreme prejudice. Like that pebble over there. He deserves the death penalty for cheating in a race against a snail.-
Seeing as you're just doing this for attention, I'm gonna ignore you.
In the time it took Reivi to bicker, I was in front of the inn. Before I entered, I made Ehizteri stay outside. I snuck back in, making no sound, and walked back to my bed, only, this time, there were old clothes and metal greaves and vambraces resting on top. I put them off the bed and lied down to sleep.
Tomorrow is going to be an interesting day.
POV: Somewhere in the heavens.
The compass of the angels were having a debate about the current exterior state of affairs. They were in a dark room, all head to toe in a dark cover that obscured all, except their faces, where masks were worn. "Ni allwn adael i'r methiant yn dod â heddwch rhwng gythreuliaid a gweddill y byd." The leader of the debate was Canolfan and the lower men would report to him and give their opinions.
"Gallai gymryd ymaith ein dylanwad neu ei roi i ni i lawr i'w lefel." One of the representatives, Orllewin, was the first to speak and everyone seemed concerned by that. It was true and if it happened, it could mean catastrophic things could happen.
"Mae gen i ddull a allai ddychwelyd y gorchymyn i sut y dylai fod." It was Gogledd, the most skilled tactician and the one in charge of the hand of god.
"We have humans in this court, please continue in their language." Ddwyrain said to the court. Even if there were humans, what they were discussing was unimportant to the the ears of humans.
"A wrath grief demon killed the holy knight named Ofol in the outpost near the outskirts of the blackguard forest. The death of the knight caused holy knight Milder, elven marksman Saethwyr, sorceress Seicig, archer Varr and squire to Milder and Djarfr to join the diplomacy wing." The holy knight order representative had a list in his hand and was explaining what happened to the holy knight order over the course of 3 months as was always done.
"We will look into this later. Anything else you think we should know or could be important?" The holy knight shook his head. What a relief.
"Then we will make our verdict. Compass." All the members talked between themselves and raised or lowered their hands for a few minutes. They turned to the knight.
"It seems we already have made a decision thanks to North. Your problem is being taken care of as we speak, I highly doubt we will hear about it in a month from now. But what made this so important for us to hear?"
"The letter was signed with the sun beetle's mark."
