# You Shall Not Pass!
"Now that that's done, let's go up and- Oh Shit! There's another Boss up there." (Me)
"What are you talking about, we just- Oh motherfucker, there IS another Boss." (Kenobi)
"How do you kno- Oh Shoot! The Faerie!" (Splay Mark)
"That's right, and supposedly whatever's up there is stronger than these two put together," Voltanis reminded us, "I vote we call it a day and come back tomorrow."
"""Agreed."""
"See you guys tommorow," Splay Mark waved once and dissapeared.
"I'm gonna go too, bye," I said before logging off.
********************************************************************************
As usual, I was the first to log back in, and, as usual, I spent my time doing miscellaneous tasks. Such as repairing gear and making new arrows as well as updating my Dragon's Breath.
The "New" Dragon's Breath included a screw-on detachable barrel which contains the flint blocks. Removing the barrel makes the crossbow quieter, and slightly increases the projectile speed, but doesn't cause the bolt to be set on fire.
When Splay Mark arrived, I helped to repair his weapon, and when everyone had gathered, we agreed that Voltanis should get the chains, since (according to him) his class quests occasionally required such items.
"Okay," Splay Mark said, "Before we start, how 'bout some more of that mead, Voltanis?"
"I'm afraid not," Voltanis replied, "There's still a week before the summon finishes its cooldown."
"... That's one long ass cooldown," I said
"Well... Blóðughófi's cooldown is even longer. The Faerie's cooldown is over though, but I doubt it'll (genderless?) be of any use here. Perhaps Kenobi can buff us?"
"Not my specialty, but I can try blessing your weapons."
Your weapon has been blessed!
Its damage has been temporarily increased!
It is temporarily more effectice against Dark Forces!
It cannot be wielded by Dark Forces!
It has gained a (badass) glow!
Well, it wasn't anywhere near the baddassery of Kenobi's Lightsaber, but it still looked pretty impressive.
"By the way, I did some research on the "Isran Kingdom"," I said, "It seems that it's an Ancient Kingdom that used to exist before the Great War."
"Great War? Oh yeah, that's a story even that happened a long time ago, isn't it?" said Kenobi, "Wait, doesn't that mean that we were transported back in time?"
"That's... Quite a big deal.. Isn't it?" (Splay Mark)
"Well, yeah," I replied, "With any luck, the final boss will drop something really good."
Step, Step, Step
And here we are.
"Finally!" said Splay Mark, "That staircase was as high as all the others put together!"
In front of us was a door similar to the one we passed through earlier on before fighting the Giants, only just a little bigger. Even so, it was obvious that the Giants couldn't have possibly fit through it.
*I guess the Gods really did put them down there?*
"You know what would be really stupid?" Voltanis walked forward with the key, "It would be if this key doesn't open the door."

""""SERIOUSLY!"""
********************************************************************************
"Here you go, Sir! Found it!"
It was the Faerie, summoned again in order to find the key that we managed to miss.
"Alright, thanks," Voltanis said as he took the key, "Hey, what can you tell us about the next boss?"
"He's strong! He's not as old as the two Giants, but he's lived here most of his life! He's Human (I think)! He's a He!"
"That wasn't really helpful, but thanks anyway, I guess."
"No problem! Goodbye now! Good luck!"
"Thanks again."
Poof!
"This one had better work."
Click!
The door opened with a groan.
"GO!"
"But-"
"I said GO! NOW!"
At the other end of the "room" was a door that leads to what looks like the interior of a castle, but to call it a "room" wouldn't be correct. In truth it was a tower, about as big as the Giants's room, but helluva lot taller. At the very top of the tower were four stained-glass windows, but it was impossible to see the designs from the ground.
Standing in front of the door was a single man, dressed in pretty much the same fashion as Splay Mark. He was unarmed, and had tattoos of chains running all over his body.
On the other side of the door I glimpsed a petite hooded figure just before the man closed it, and sealed it shut with chains that he seemingly plucked out of nowhere (as I swear, he wasn't carrying them a moment ago).
"You're here," he said, "I expected that the Bromba soldiers would eventually make it past the Necromancer I imprisoned down there, but I never expected anyone to get past the two Giants."
*Huh?*
"I am The Warden. My job is to make sure that nobody gets in, or out of this place" he continued, "I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. And I don't know how you magiked your way in here. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you turn back now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will kill you."

Author's note:
Hello Again!
First off, I would like to apologize for the short chapter.
For this week and the next month (maybe even January) I will be doing (unpaid) OT at work. In fact I just had to do OT during on my 21st brithday
As it is, this chapter was mostly typed during lunch breaks, and my fingers hurt from typing on dem stiff computer keyboards instead of my laptop with its gentle, shallow keystroke.
As usual, any and all comments and criticisms are welcome!
