Dearest diary,

Today I've come to a startling discovery: I found a seal. I found it on the beach, covered in bites and torn into pieces. With its head and fins bitten off. Its intestines covered a few metres of the beach, but even they had chunks bitten out of them. Judging by the patterns and size of the teeth I can confirm that it is not the work of any species of shark known to me. However, there is another issue; I have no clues as to what killed the seal.
