Dearest diary,

I am yet to find the culprit, but I've stumbled upon more corpses. Turtles, sharks, dolphins, seals, fish, seagulls, otters, even deer. Whatever is causing all this is certainly an apex predator. Perhaps it's a new species? I hypothesised that it might've been a saltwater crocodile, but the teeth certainly do not match. After examining the bite marks again I've come to an even more disturbing discovery; they seem almost... Human. But I have some good news, I've made progress deeper into the island and found a cave! It is gigantic and perhaps it might hold some answers.
