Storing away the newly gained items, Alex proceeded to leave the hunting grounds. He was excited at the thought of raising some early game funds from selling the collected furs and hides.
In his past life, Alex was slow to rise to fame due to real life circumstances. Although he played a lot he wasn't like those rich young masters that had bucket loads of money to convert into in-game funds.
This time around, Alex had one goal and one goal only. Make enough money to fix his family's circumstances as quickly as possible.
To do this Alex had already decided what he'd do. "If I'm right there should already be plenty of lower grade items on the world auction site. With the crazy amount of people trying to profit from the game, some lower grade recipe materials will surely go unnoticed."
"Just thinking about the amount of money I'm about to rake in is making my blood boil haha."
Back at Red Leaf Town the streets were packed with adventurers. Some of which were still logging into the game for the first time.
The way the developers set the game was to have every day cycle in The World Of Divinity set to 48 hours. 36 of those hours, being day time and the remaining 12 be night time. However, day in the game correlated to night time in the game.
This caused a lot of workers to play more since it didn't cross with there everyday lifestyle and instead of sleeping and not doing anything they could enjoy themselves in the game.
Later down the line because of this function alone The World Of Divinity would soon be called the 'second world.' Of course this doesn't happen till the first major update.
Alex walked past the entertainment section in the town until he came to a shop called 'Trixie's Tailoring Store'. "Afternoon, is anyone there." Alex called out in a gentle voice.
"Ay, well if it isn't an adventurer. Haven't seen you around here before. You new?" Trixie said while she continued to stitch up a purse decorated with fine silk.
"Yeah, just wandering through but I heard you buy hide's and furs here for a reasonable price."
"Oh? What materials are you carrying, get them out and I'll see what there worth." Trixie said clearly more interested in the turn in the conversation as she was now giving Alex her undivided attention.

Alex smiled while pulling out a stack of Wolf pelt, Bear hide and the 3 lots of Black Panther King hide.
Trixie was immediately shocked at the amount but also the quality of the goods in front of her smiled "This, you managed to get your hands on hide from the Black Panther King. Just who are you?"
Alex laughed but didn't answer her question.
"Ay your remaining mysterious are you? Well not that I care as long as your selling your goods." Trixie said while looked through the pile.
"Well then, for the wolf pelts the base price is 4 silver each. As for the bear hide considering the quality, 12 silver each. As for the Black Panther King considering the rarity and the fact it's used in high end goods 50 silver each. What do you think? Deal?"
"Seems reasonable to me, Deal!" Alex agreed since he already new the price he'd get.
"Great, If you have anymore in the future just bring them along. Especially the ones like Black Panther Hide." Trixie said while smiling gently.

Taking the pouch of coins that he just gained, Alex took them and strolled towards the auction house on the other side of town. Right now, Alex could be consider one of the richest solo players since the cash conversion system wouldn't be available until LvL 10, once players entered the cities.
"Now then let's go and make a scene in the auction house shall we."
Entering the 3 storey grand building which was by far one of the grandest buildings within the town. Alex was met with a wave of sounds. Everyone was excited to spend their money but to also make money so conversations tended to get pretty heated here.
The ground floor was for public use and it was the only floor available right now to the players as they didn't have the privileges no the status to go to higher floors. Yet this didn't matter too much. Alined with the walls were devices to list and scan through the market. There was a lot of freedom as the items would be sent to the system when listed on the market and then sent to the buyers inventory directly, once verified payment was confirmed.
This allowed for 100% safety in trades and purchases as long as players didn't buy things for the wrong prices, it was hard to get scammed.
Alex walk to the market system and browsed through the skill book section to see if there was anything to take note of. However, what he immediately saw were 2 books of common grade with the name [Backslash] going for a buyout of 20 silvers each.
Alex immediately bought this skill as he couldn't contain his excitement almost wanting to burst into laughter inside the shop.
[Backslash] was a common grade skill yes, but in the future it was a skill that was heavily favoured to assassins as it was used in almost every fight they encountered.
As a result in the future this skill rocketed to prices of 10 gold+. That said it wouldn't be for a while as nobody had that sort of money so Alex refrained from buying the other book just yet.
Next he went on to list up the excess materials like the wolf teeth and so on from his hunt which could fetch him a couple of silver as they normally sold for copper.
Then Alex listed his Nights Watch Bow for at starting price of 40 silver on bid and set the timer to 2 hours and sat back and watched as the auction house was about to erupt into mayhem.
