Suspense and confusion rose as time began to move forward. The 12 hooded guys because there was an empty seat, and me because
“It says here a condition on activating that spell was satisfied…..”
He said while scrolling on the tablet that returned to his hand. But I no longer cared about the tablet, I was interested in what was going to happen next. This felt like a horror story for the 12 hooded people.
“What was the condition?”
“The condition was if someone ever tries to prevent or can prevent dad’s existence either directly or indirectly,
A spell that somehow activated without Jay existing yet…. Was there a chance that these 13 people may have had more members?
Something then fell on my vision and it was Yang who once again tripped while standing. He slowly stood up and acted as if nothing ever happened.
“This is really cool, I’m so invested. A spell activating before it even existed”
Yang said in a monotonous voice which contradicts his saying in the first sentence. But there was something that confused me, when
That seemed to be the case back then when Jay saved me from my first encounter with multidimensional deities. However, this case was different, the table and the chair did not disappear.
“This is really weird….. I’m activating my omniscience, maybe there will be any hints on why there is an empty chair here”
“This loop is far more interesting than I thought it would be. This will be the first time one of us will turn on their omniscience”
First time turning their omniscience. They definitely had more members back then but were erased by
But…. Since that guy died by absolute death…. Why are we still seeing him?
I thought about it for some time until I came to one conclusion. The reason why that guy who died by
?!?!
“Khwalz? This seems inappropriate, but why do you look like a skinless pale-“
The hooded person who asked the question to “Khwalz” was stabbed by him in the face with a sword. The moment the tip of the sword hit his face, an immeasurable amount of energy was released from the 1st to towards the dimensions that I could not even comprehend. That energy released was too much that it compressed on itself and formed a supermassive black hole.
There was mana on that sword and it probably was
That “Khwalz” person’s appearance turned into a familiar one. That face, those crimson eyes that emanate authority, that hair that has the same shade as the void, and of course the smile.
Jay Everos, my father has arrived on the scene out of nowhere.
I thought Jay was supposed to arrive in a couple of quintillion more years. How did this even happen? Was Jay always “Khwalz”?
“How did Jay arrive here? Is Jay “Khwalz”?”
If Jay was Khwalz, then that can explain
Yang paused the violence that was about to commence in order to explain it to me.
“It’s said here a certain spell named
The “shard” he was talking about probably was a metaphor, since in no way a literal shard is inside of me.
“Yang, the “shard” is not literal right?”
I had to make sure, I wouldn’t want a shard inside of me, if there is, I will definitely remove it after this.
“Obviously. Now back to what I was saying, when a “shard” is implanted to the victim, there will be two options. The first option is that the caster just ignores you. The second option is to fully activate the spell. When the spell is fully activated, an avatar of the caster is formed inside of the victim’s concept.”
Since we are fine, we are most probably in the first option.
“If the second option was chosen, it is an automatic death sentence for the victim no matter how powerful the victim is in the present-“
“In the present” I wonder what that meant.
“If their weakest state in all of their existence is weaker than the caster’s strongest state. And since this is Jay we are talking about, it is a death sentence.”
Yeah, I can see the reason for that.
“The logic behind this is that once the “shard” is implanted, it can no longer be removed. That “shard” will release avatars that have the same abilities on every single point in the history of the target’s concept.”
I see, I now understand how this works. If the caster is an early bloomer and the victim is a late bloomer, then the caster would be more powerful than the victim at this point. But as time progresses, the victim becomes more powerful and finally surpasses the caster.
However, this disgusting spell removes and denies the effort of the victim’s struggles to obtain that power. The caster can send his strongest state in order to kill the victim’s weakest state, most probably being the infancy stage.
“All of this happens in an instant, and if the target is killed even once, the target will either be killed, be turned into an avatar of the caster, or be a catalyst for incarnation”
So this guy is just an avatar? An unanswered question came to my mind
“Yang, type in there “How is Jay casting these spells before existing”
He glanced at me, nodded his head one time, and returned to the tablet hologram to presumably type what I said.
“It is said here that the spells
“Hmm-“
He started scrolling and fiddling with the tablet-hologram again until he “found” something.
“Ah, it’s said here that a “frame” of “Jay Everos existing and using
This story has been stolen from Royal Road. If you read it on Amazon, please report it
I guess that makes more sense now, all Jay did to forcefully make himself exist was to break the laws and deities that were preventing him from existing. This seems like a good motivational story.
“I’ll resume it now”
Jay removed the sword from his victim’s face and began hovering like a feather in the wind in the supermassive black hole. It was the same as Ashura’s, their space manipulation was a piece of art.
What I noticed is that the moment the “experience” resumed, the hooded guys…. I’ll just call them the cult. The cult was not moving, it was as if they were frozen in place.
Jay hovered towards the cult member farthest to him, got behind him, and stabbed him behind the head.
“Rhazdh!”
They can suddenly now move.
A cult member screamed the name of the presumably stabbed cult member. While screaming his name, all surviving cult members summoned their enchanted weapons and attacked Jay who was still maintaining his smile.
In an instant, all 9 surviving cult members teleported all around Jay and used him as a pincushion for their enchanted weapons. They suddenly stopped moving after stabbing Jay.
Jay gently moved around, and it turned out they hadn’t even stabbed him, their weapons just phased through him. He stepped forward with a magic circle forming beneath his feet every time his feet stepped forward.
He stepped forward, forward, forward until he got behind the cult member who was in front of him. They looked so defenseless. He plunged his hand coated with mana on the chest of the cult member and looked around him to see the cult members still frozen. His usual smile turned into a sinister one showing off his teeth.
Out of nowhere, the surviving 8 members disappeared, it turns out they were teleported far away from each other, but close enough that they could see each other.
“Huh!”
They looked around and saw Jay stabbing their fellow cult member with his hand. And then Jay stepped forward again, this time removing his hand from his victim and into his next prey. He slowly walked toward his next victim as if he was walking in a park.
He summoned a sword again and sliced his victim in a vertical slash.
There were now 7 survivors, and they couldn’t do anything about it. In an instant, 2 cult members teleported around him. They abandoned their weapons and instead decided to use their bodies as weapons. They froze again.
The one on his left was decapitated by a black slash that appeared out of nowhere, it probably was
Suddenly, everything moved again. The one on his left disappeared, and the one on his right was knocked away with its appearance being changed. It was like those multidimensional beings in their black electric form, except this was glitching with some missing parts. In its center, there was a white line, but it had plenty of cracks.
Jay blocked a strike that came from a sword with his forearm. And just ignored a punch to the face that came from another member.
Suddenly, a sphere surrounded them and exploded. It was full of mana, there were “cracks” and “glitches” everywhere. It was like the “end”.
The two cult members who attacked him teleported away from the location of the blast. Suddenly everything froze again, Jay began walking towards them slowly as if he was taking time killing them. No, it was not as if he was taking time, he was taking time killing them.
Jay landed a punch to the face of the one who punched him. And to the one who tried to attack him with a sword, he teleported him away so he could see what Jay did to his partner.
“!!!”
The one who was as if he was glitching suddenly attacked Jay with 3 other people.
This time, they were now moving, but they were still so slow. They were moving around and casting spells as if they were breaking everything apart, but all Jay did was evade them.
This time, the one who Jay teleported joined the fight. They attacked, attacked, but Jay just gently evaded them. But then Jay decided to kill one of them, the one who was glitching. He suddenly exploded like electricity moving around randomly.
That was not electricity, that was a concept, his concept being dismantled so much that it couldn’t exist anymore.
Oh, it turns out he was still alive. “Nothing” kept attacking Jay and his concept was being repaired.
But then he just stopped moving, he died suddenly. There were traces of
They were moving again, and their blades landed on Jay’s body. It did not damage him in the slightest, their swords, spells, and tentacles were like an annoying fly.
They were now moving at the same speed as Jay. Or rather, Jay was now moving at the same speed as them, and his smile just got more wide and unhinged. Two regular swords that have the composition of stainless steel appeared in his hands. With the two swords, he parried the three attackers.
Spells that were capable of ending the world a million times were roaming around the battlefield trying to hit Jay, but all Jay did was destroy the concept of the spells as if they never existed. Spells capable of ending the world were being created in the billions, and each of them was only single cast since their existence was erased.
But it continued, the spells just phased through their caster and his allies, the spells only had one target, Jay. But the spells were useless, they were erased the moment they got too close, while the cult members just continued attacking the still-smiling Jay.
It actually seemed the members had their morale raised when they could finally see Jay moving. They can hit him even tho their hits mean nothing.
Jay caught a hand coming for his chest and was instead stabbed in his back by an enchanted sword. But it did nothing, it was like stabbing a sharpened pencil into a concrete wall.
The one Jay caught suddenly ignited in black flames. The two surviving members' morale which was at its peak broke
The two of them stopped attacking, and just kneeled to Jay.
“We surrender! Please spare us! We’ll forget what you did to the other 10!”
“We’ll give you everything! This world, our powers, knowledge! Everything you want!”
“Awww you are surrendering instead of dying like them?”
Jay said in a disappointed voice like a child not getting what he wants inside a mall.
“You two are boring”
Chains surrounded their body, they couldn’t escape. They killed themselves in an attempt to resurrect in a different place, but they were resurrected in the same place still being chained.
Jay let out his hand with his palm facing them and muttered
“
Nothing happened, the two members just looked at each other with confusion. ‘Maybe he was going to spare them?’ was probably what they were thinking
Jay looked at the palm of himself
“Aah!… I forgot it doesn’t exist yet…. Let me fix that!”
Jay let out his hand towards them again with his palm facing them, and he muttered it once again.
“
Everything was turned into a transparent black. My instincts were warning me once again to never touch it. This was the same spell that was in the afterlife.
“Arg- gra- rga- hgr@#d- 01000001 01110010 01100111 01110010 01100001 00100000 00101101 01100001 01101000 00100000 00101101 01101000 01100001 00101101 00100000”
Both of them screamed in pain, their screams were incomprehensible.
In an instant, they all disappeared. Even the supermassive blackhole that they were fighting in disappeared.
Suddenly a crack appeared for an instant and it disappeared. It felt familiar, not the crack but the magic. It felt familiar, but unlike
“Huh….. that felt familiar”
Yang muttered to himself, I looked around him and saw him using the tablet hologram.
“Ah,
If there aren’t any alternatives Yangs, then that also probably meant there are no alternative me’s.
“Can you explain to me what that spell is?”
I was curious why Jay cast it.
“
So Jay now definitely made his birth into a reality huh? This concept was funny to me, Jay using a spell not existing yet to force Jay to exist who will inevitably create the spell that will force him to exist.
“Aaaah! Guess my job here is done…. Should I remove my memories? He definitely would not like these boring memories…..”
Jay muttered to himself while stretching his arms.
“Guess I’ll remove them then….”
In an instant, Jay disappeared.
“Oh well, it seems we are done here- why don’t you-“
Suddenly our surroundings changed, to a void it turned into a giant bedroom filled with precious gems. There were many people, around a dozen to twenty. Their eyes were the same as mine the same designs, except theirs were purple…. Maybe they were a different breed of race of demons? Since all of them had tails that were like primal demons but more “sharp-looking”.
Among the crowd, three notable people caught my attention, one was like a cleric… Never knew demons believed in a holy being. The two were like a couple, the male one had dirty blonde hair, and unlike all other demons in the room, only he was showing his original eyes, they were of the color red. His eyes were like Jay’s, it was almost scary…. Wait.
I turned around my head and looked at the woman he was sitting on the bed next to. Her belly was really big, she was pregnant. Wait, we were sent here by the box in a box, and it obviously wouldn’t send us here without any reason
“Huh…. They have the same eye as me”
Yang muttered something that caught my attention, I took a glance at him and his eyes were purple like theirs….. These people here were not demons, they were celestial. That means… how did I get these blue eyes?
“It is time”
The cleric said with gentleness in his voice.
The cleric touched her pregnant belly which weirded me out a little. Out of a sudden, a glowing sphere appeared and the atmosphere in the room changed. Everyone apart from the notable three people stepped their left foot forward and raised a summon saber in the air with their right hand as if they were proclaiming something.
The glowing sphere slowly disappeared, and what appeared in it was a baby, it was covering his own naked body with his tail. The infant slowly opened his eyes, they were crimson red. His eyes…. They were Jay’s, but unlike now, his eyes were far more terrifying. Not like Ashura’s, his eyes were like the unknown and dread, while Jay’s was just pure authority and power.
I heard something fall to the ground, and all people aside from the 3 people inside the room knelt on both of their knees. I then heard something fall to the ground beside me, I instantly knew what it was so I did not bother. Yang probably fell again.
His presumably father held him in one of his arms, and with his free arm, he covered Jay’s eyes. I saw Jay’s lips curl down after his eyes were covered by his father’s hand. He probably was annoyed by that.
After several seconds, he removed his hand from Jay’s eyes and his eyes changed. Blue and purple, purple on his right and blue on his left.
His eyes widened the eyes of all people except for Yang and me. Both of us probably already realized my blue celestial eyes had to come from somewhere.
Jay’s father and our grandfather raised him in the sir now holding him with a box his his hands. That probably was uncomfortable for Jay.
“As you can see, my son has both the eyes of the celestial of destruction and creation. But as you can see here, his eyes of destruction are on the right side. He is the child of destiny, he will be the one who will reunite the two celestial kingdoms that have been split since the second generation of our ancestors. His eye of destruction being on the right side only means that he will be seated as the righthand of destruction. Our race!-”
That seems like mental gymnastics, if his purple eyes were on the left side, he would be saying “his eye of destruction being on the left side means he will reunite the two celestial kingdoms because his heart is also on the left side. This must mean he will rule everything with destruction and not creation”
“I proclaim him to be “Fortiz Everos” “
I saw Jay squint his eyes a tiny bit after hearing his name. Also was it Fortiz or Fortis? They sound the same. I remember in my Latin class the word “Fortis”, so he probably was saying “Fortis” since I do not remember anything about “Fortiz”.
I heard Yang chuckle for a bit, he broke his monotonous feelings to laugh at our father’s name. So his father gave him that name.
