"So? Do you have any money for me or not?" Jake asked him casually. But his posture said that he would follow him only if he could provide the required amount of money to Jake. Otherwise, there is no way he would follow him.

After being speechless for a few seconds, the Grim reaper turned serious again and spoke, "Jake Robberfeld, you are not requested to follow me. Instead you are ordered to do so. You are not going to receive any sort of reward for this task. So follow me without any further delays."

Jake did not like the tone with which he just spoke to him. He turned serious too, "Okay, let us go."

Once he said that, the grim reaper turned around and made way for them to leave the surgery room with a white light flashed in front of them.

Jake on the other hand did not notice all these but as soon as the grim reaper turned his head away from him, he turned away and ran away towards the next room to the operation theatre.

Once he entered the ward, he found a window and without any hesitation, he jumped out of the window to escape from this stupid and weird place.

He wanted to use his body weight and force the glass to break when he jumped out of the window. But he did not expect that he did not encounter any sort of barrier as his body easily went through the window and was now falling freely from more than twenty floors.

Of course Jake was not scared to jump down from a high floor. Instead he rolled his body in the mid air and then tried his best to stabilize his body so that he could land easily on the ground.

When the grim reaper noticed that Jake did not follow behind him, he turned back and walked slowly towards the window from which he just jumped.

When he saw how perfectly he landed on the ground and also started running away from the hospital building, he twitched his lips.

He calmly raised his right hand and twirled it twice. A whip slowly appeared in his hand. His eyes never left the running figure of Jake as he threw the whip in the air at once while holding the other side of it in his hand.

The dark long whip extended its length and easily followed the entire route that Jake just ran and within a whole span of two seconds, it reached Jake.

It then went ahead and bound itself around Jake like a snake crawling around his torso.

Jake was shocked by this sudden appearance of a whip around him. He still tried his best to break the whip and run away but of course the heavenly whip is too powerful for his human strength.

The grim reaper smirked when he saw the struggling Jake but his strength couldn't outrun him. With a pull from his right hand, the whip dragged the bound Jake backwards and the tied up Jake was now once again standing in front of him in a sorry state compared to earlier.

Jake did not stop from struggling further to get away from the whip that now turned itself into a rope tied around him. While doing so, his eyes never left the grim reaper as he glared at him seriously as if he would murder him the next second he was out of bound.

Jake really wanted to kill this man in his mind. But being on the receiving end, the Grim reaper was not affected in the least as he stood there calmly while looking at the struggling Jake, "Jake Robberfeld, you can not escape your fate no matter how hard you try. It is better to accept your fate and follow the instructions given to you. Now that you tried to escape from me, a new sin was added to the list of all your sins. Be prepared to get punished accordingly for every action you take."

Jake scoffed at him and wanted to refute him but the once whip, now rope had turned itself around not only his body but it also crawled upwards and closed his mouth from talking any further.

The grim reaper did not want to hear any of the nonsensical words from this weird human and continue being speechless anymore.

The grim reaper really felt happy for taking the decision to cover his mouth when he saw him struggling. He wanted to speak something but before he could do so, they heard a sound ringing.

Jake was confused about what that sound was because from the time he woke up, except for the voice of the Grim Reaper he did not hear any other sounds. That included voices of others or even the vehicles on the road when he ran over there.

The Grim reaper took out a phone from his pocket and answered it under the astonished eyes of Jake. He was really shocked in his heart, 'Grim Reapers have phones too? Wow!!'

The Grim reaper did not care about his reaction and calmly answered the call he got.

After listening to whatever the person on the other side said, the grim reaper's expressions changed drastically. This made Jake curious because he did not see him having so many expressions from the time he saw him.

No matter what Jake spoke all the way, he had always stood calm and looked back at him without any expressions on his face.

Now he heard the Grim reaper speaking through his phone again, "You are saying that Jake Robberfeld's case had a mistake?"
