3rd person pov:
They had arrived at a club by the name of nightlight, and Damian had decided to walk in with the sword he had stolen from the corpse of the vampire hunter captain. He was thinking of starting a tradition where he would take the weapons of powerful opponents.
‘You do understand that taking mementoes of people you’ve killed sounds a lot like you’re some kind of serial killer’
Damian ignored Michael’s words and followed David, they went past a door that said ‘restricted and went down into the basement. There he found the real party, with a bunch of vampires drinking and having fun, dancing. “What is this place?” Damian asked in bewilderment. “The owner of the club is also a vampire and built this bar as a safe haven for vampires to relax, he also supplies bloods at a price.” David answered.
“I’ll buy you a drink, as a thank you.” David stated as they headed to the bar. He ordered Damian some blood red alcohol which he took out of curiosity. It had a decent taste he thought but was not planning on making drinking a habit. David had taken him around to introduce to him to some of his vampire friends.
“Hello there, let me introduce you to Damian, a good friend of mine who saved me from the vampire hunter this evening.”
“Those bastards huh? Filthy assholes putting their noses where they don’t belong. The vampires haven’t even done anything; they should at least only attack the one that are killers.” One of the vampires a man said in anger. “I’m glad you were able to save my buddies ass. I told him to be careful when he wonders around at night but he never listens to me!” He said grateful. “There was nothing to it, I was just around and decided to help, it was nothing” Damian said trying to steer the conversation from him… and still holding on to the bloodied sword, no one finds this strange, he wonders why.

A girl that was among the friend group suddenly mentioned “I would strongly recommend not feeding of the vampire hunters, the higher ranks, tend to have some kind of poisoning that makes their blood toxic to us vampires.” Damian had taken note of that information. They had decided to introduce themselves after some idle talk.
The girl who offered the advice about the vampire hunter blood was Erica, a blonde vampire who said she dyed her hair because it help camouflage her identity. The first man to speak was a burly man by the name of Mader, He liked to wear leather jackets because they ‘make him look cool’. And the last to introduce themselves was Sam, who was dressed in a simple Black shirt and jeans.
Sam then asked “I have never seen you around, are you newly turned, if so how were you able to defeat those hunters?”
Damian was quick to answer “I am but I trained myself to fight and my ability allows me to strengthen myself.” They all believed and had resumed the idle talk until Mader checked his watch and announced “We’re late for the show, we need to get going if we want to make it in time!” They all got up and started rushing towards the doors back to the club and Damian followed confused “What show where are we going?” David was the one to answer “We are going to see the best vampire entertainment in the city… The cage.
They had arrived at an alley and had turned towards the metal door, with Erica knocking three times and a slot opening a pair of eyes appeared and asked “What’s the password?” “bloodsuckers.” Erica simply stated and the door opened to let them in, the first thing Damian saw upon entering were two shirtless vampires fighting each other, They had all gotten a place to sit and Damian had resumed asking questions.
They had revealed that there were several hotspots for vampires to hang out and he would be introduced to them soon enough. They also told him to find the vampire in charge if he wanted to fight in the cage, and he reluctantly refused wanting to end the night off without violence. Soon enough the fight had come to an end with one of the vampires coming out victorious, but before the next match could start, Fred had mentioned to him “The night is soon coming to an end, let’s go we can show you where most of the vampires, including us live.”
