Damian pov:
I left the house early again on Sunday, to avoid my family, but unfortunately I was once again met with my mother when I returned. She seemed to not get the idea that I didn’t give a damn about what she says anymore and then she sent me too bed in a similar manner as before. I didn’t bother feeding yesterday; hoping I could gain some resistance and not feed as often.
Anyway, it was Monday now and I had already gotten dressed for school. As I left my room I was met with the usual sight of my mother taking Eric to school (Why, He can fly?) They didn’t even take a glance at me and walked out the door while my father was waiting in the car to drive them on his way to work.
I, on the other hand finally remembered that I had to find a way to hide my new appearance. It worked with Jason because he believed I was just getting a costume, but he would become suspicious if I turned up looking the same again.
‘You could just alter the color of your eyes.’ Michael calmly suggested (Like this wouldn’t have been nice to know 2 days ago).
‘And how the hell do you suppose I do that Michael?’ I asked with an eye roll.
‘You just need to imagine a layer over your eyes, and then Imagine them the color you wish for them to be’ Michael instructed ‘It’s a basic skill that all vrykir learn’
I did as he told me and looked to the mirror to notice that my eyes had changed back to their original green
‘Changing hair and eye color and skin tone all use the same concept, but to change the tone of your very skin is considerably more difficult- ‘
He was interrupted by me changing my skin tone back to its much less pale complexion.
‘Not that hard it seems’ I mentioned mockingly.
‘Don’t you have school to get to boy?’ Michael questioned in an attempt to change the topic.
I had a quick laugh before making my way to school on foot.
3rd person pov:
Damian had a normal day in school, his friend Jason who was among one of the wealthier students of the school glad he had decided to take off his ‘costume’ for school.
It was all a fine day until he and his friends were interrupted during lunch by his usual bullies.
“Well, well if it isn’t the powerless piece of shit.” The one who seemed to be the leader of the group of three, a boy by the name of Victor Smith, one of the kingpins of the school and considerably strong with his telekinetic abilities. “The disgrace of the school, And the only person whole damn city who can’t awaken a legacy” Another taunted. Before he would have been pissed but was forced to swallow his anger in hopes of them not beating him up (which they obviously still did anyway). He was stronger now and did not have to swallow his anger anymore as he stood up to face them.
“Feeling confident now are we? It seems we’ll have to teach you a lesson to not disrespect your-” Victor was interrupted by Damian giving him a punch to the face with enough power to make him fall over. The other two goons quickly recovered from the surprise as they activated their abilities to attack him. One of them happened to be a halonian as he punched him in the chest pushing him backward, but not strong enough to cause too much pain making him only lose two hp. They had already attracted a small crowd to their fight. The other one who had yet to act suddenly started to fire energy blasts towards him which he dodged with quick movements. He quickly dispatched him with a side kick to the side of the temple. He quickly watched him crumple to the ground and turned around to start exchanging blows with the halonian. He quickly realized that he was weaker than him in terms of raw strength. He started using techniques that he had read about in the internet out of boredom in an attempt to beat him. He quickly found that without practice he found it difficult to properly implement the techniques.

He had let his guard down for a moment and his foe did not waste the opportunity to knock him to the ground and start pummeling him. Damian quickly grabbed both hands and head butted him in an attempt to disorient him and got free, He did not hesitate to use the opportunity to step on the halonian’s head to knock him unconscious. Too his surprise he was lifted into the air by no other than Victor and was being slammed into the walls. As he passed a table he grabbed a fork and threw it with surprising precision into Victor’s knee, who cried out in pain and dropped Damian who quickly ran to knee him in the face and throw him across the room. He ran out after landing swearing vengeance for the humiliation.
Damian pov:
As the fight concluded I sat back down while my friends who looked at me in surprise.
“How the fuck did you get strong enough to fight those bastards?” Justin questioned in confusion. “Yeah this isn’t some manga where the mc becomes OP all of a sudden!” Tyler said in equal confusion and amazement. “I have no idea boys. Maybe I suddenly awakened my legacy?” I decided to make this my excuse as it was the most believable one and would satisfy most curiosities. For those I that wouldn’t be satisfied; I hoped no cats would have to be killed.
I had arrived at my next class where our instructor was teaching us how to channel our legacies (It is a common activity that help us to strength our abilities).
The teacher Mr. Brandon a retired member of the miltiary. He was neutral towards me for the most part unlike my most of my teachers so I was usually happy in his class.
“Today I will be teaching you about the reason why the power of similar legacies tends to differ.” He stated bored, and started the lesson. “There’s no point in paying attention a powerless weakling like you has no place in this class.” Emma, who used to be my school crush mockingly whispered to me. I was enraged remembering how she beat me up and humiliated me in the cafeteria after I had asked her out. Seeing how I had already taken revenge on Victor I see no reason why I shouldn’t do the same for her. And I already had a perfect plan in mind. Turning behind me to face her I activated my compulsion to give her the instructions required for my vengeance.
“Meet me on the roof after this class, head there immediately…do not be late”
Her eyes slid slightly out of focus. The compulsion was successful which was a relief. I was afraid it would be too complex and I would not be able to control her.
As the class ended she followed me to the roof. The next class was to start in 30 minutes which was more than enough time. As we reached the roof I turned to her and released the alterations on my skin and eyes. I was hungry. And she would be my meal. I brought out my fangs and bit her neck sucking the sweet blood from her veins I drank to my fill and compelled her to forget and sleep like I did the lady at the park. My plan was simple; I would make her my human blood bag and she would have no idea, waking up several times a week on this roof with no memory of why and blood loss. It’ll drive her crazy and will leave me a continuous blood source which will make it easier to keep my tracks hidden.
‘Simple and serves dual purposes…I like how you think Damian’ Michael stated with respect in his voice. I couldn’t help but chuckle darkly which ended quickly when I saw Justin and Tyler at the entrance to the rooftop; shock etched on their faces.
“Damian what are you doing?”
Ohhhh…shit
