We take our steps to the classroom. The third schedule has started. Though I forgot what subject it is, hopefully, the teacher won't be mad because of our delayed arrival. And somehow I can imagine the teacher being mad like, "Where have you two gone to? And who are you?". The teacher might recognize both of them, but not me. And to compensate for my late arrival I have to stand in front of the classroom, introducing myself once again.
While we are walking. "Hana" A firm voice calls me.
I'm going too deep to imagination I can't hear it properly. Someone shakes my left shoulder while calling my name simultaneously.
"Hana, wake up" Arkan called my name.
I finally woke up from my deep imagination.
"You okay? You seem a little pale" He says in a worried tone.
"A-ah, yeah I'm fine. I guess too much for the first day at school, haha" I try to talk in a cheerful way.
"You sure? Are you not feeling dizzy?" Arkan keeps worrying about me. What am I? A baby?
"You didn't have any chronic symptoms that if you are too tired you're gonna die, right?" Chika says while clinging to my waist.
What the hell are those symptoms, scary!
"U-uh, No" I answer briefly.
"If she dies, it's your fault" Says Arkan while pointing his index finger to Chika once again. He sure loves doing it...
"Hana is gonna die because of... me?" Says Chika listless like a baby that's about to cry.
"I'm not!".
Gosh, Arkan seriously gotta stop messing around with her. And Chika too, what kind of hidden trait is this? None of this resembles a former bully.
What the hell...
My mind was only filled up by these guys. Until I remember something to change the subject. "Ah, Chika. Who was it that shouted to us before?" I ask.
"O-oh, that was... our gym coach..." She said while expressing annoyingness.
I can feel she doesn't want to talk about this matter, at all.
So, anyway, I dug it. "Heee... What's up?"
"Uhh... He keeps forcing me to play in a... competitive match".
"Huh?".
What's wrong with playing in a competitive match if you have a good capability on that specific thing?
Suddenly, Arkan enters our conversation. "Well the thing is, she can run, pretty fast too. It shocked me back in junior. She can run pretty darn fast, no wonder that our coach really wanted her to play in a competitive match. The thing is...".
"Stop, don't say it" Chika stopped his talk.
What is the thing? These guys really love being half with their story.
"What is it?" I ask.
"Well...".
"Just tell her" Arkan convince her to talk.
"I-I'm easy to get nervous... in front of many people at once" She talks in a rigid tone.
"In other words, she is shy" Arkan said in a mocking tone.

...
"I TOLD YOU TO STOP! ALSO, HOW THE HELL DID YOU KNOW THAT?!" Chika shouts in a really loud voice.
She started to box against Arkan. Though it was only her pulling his shirt and his hair. Real hard, though.
How are these two even considered high schoolers?
While these two fights, we almost arrived at our classroom.
We walk in an open hallway, on the first floor of A building. I can see a lot of students here and there, scrawling around like ants, probably in a hurry since the break time is over. We walk in a rather fast momentum, of course, we're in a hurry like all the others. But, we seem to take more on ease. While walking, In a slight second, something came to my head. "By the way, It's almost New Year..." I said mindlessly.
"Ah".
"Ah".
Both of the speak, at the same time.
It is, today is 26th December. That means less than a week until New Year. I don't have any plans on that day, though.
"That's less than a week more" Say Chika.
"That's true" Arkan joined.
"Heh, I'm guessing you don't have any plans for that day, Oh Mr. Lonely?" Chika mocks him.
"Well, You're not wrong" Arkan just accepts it. Though I can feel he's annoyed.
"How about you, Hana?" Chika suddenly throws me a question.
"M-me? Uhh... No?" I answer vaguely.
...
Speaking of New Year. What is the thing that is also related to New Year?
My brain instantly tried to work to find that thing in my head.
Oh, yea...
...
"... Fireworks" I say faintly.
"... Ah, that's true. We will have a New Year celebration at the Town Center" Said Arkan.
"Really? I didn't know that" Said Chika.
"Yeah, Tio informs me three days ago".
"Tio? Ah, that one guy who's his uncle created fireworks? He's with us back in junior if I'm not mistaken".
"Yep".
What is this feeling that I keep getting left out in a conversation? Is it because this has nothing to do with me?
"Well, there's that. So, are any of you planning to watch it?" Chika asked the two of us.
"I will watch it. Since Tio probably will ask how it turns out" Says Arkan.
"Huh? Why?".
"None of your business" He answered shortly.
"Hah? Oh Well, how about you, Hana?" She once again throws me a question.
I try to remember anything related to that day, though I don't seem to have anything on that day. "I don't really have a plan" I answer.
"I too don't. I'm not interested anyway, so probably will end up spending time with my family at home" Says Chika.
Family, huh...
"How about this, Hana" Arkan called me.
"Hmmm?".
"Watch the Fireworks performance with me"
...
Both Me and Chika are surprised. A sudden invitation like that...
"Eh? Oh..." I'm trying to process what he said.
"You don't have a plan, do you?".
"... W-watching... at your place? In the middle of the night?" I guess vaguely.
"Yes" He answer shortly.
Watching fireworks shows from that place again? Middle of the night too... I would like to since considering the view is amazing. City lights combined with Fireworks shine the dark sky that warps the sky with stars. Sure but, going into that forest once again... with a boy too...
Am I really a creep for agreeing to such an offer?
...
"S-sure..." I said firmly.
"Eh? What are you two talking about?" Chika asked.
"Nothing" Arkan deny with a normal tone.
"Nothing!" Meanwhile, I deny it with a rather pitched voice.
"O-oh, you two don't have to deny me at the same time".
No way in any world I can tell Chika that I'm going with this guy alone to a forest. To the place where both Arkan and I met.
"Why did you accept his offer, Hana?" She asked while facing my face with a curious mimic.
"I-it's rather a nice place to be" I answered clumsy.
"Huh, Okay? That's still weird to accept his offer. Though you said you both already met each other before. But still, what are you two? In a relationship?".
"No".
"Huh?! We're not!".
What the hell is she talking about??!
Once again, Arkan denies it with a flat tone. Meanwhile...
...
Ugh, this is awkward.
Arkan starts to walk faster. "Whatever, let's just hurry". After a while, his walk suddenly stops in front of us. "Oh wait, never mind. You two go first, I'll catch up later".
"Huh? Why?" I ask.
"Toilet. Just go" He said.
Without noticing, we already arrived in front of the toilet Chika shows me before. Very well, we continue our steps, leaving Arkan behind. I can see him turning towards the toilet.
...
I arrived back at this class...
Chika suddenly holds my right hand. "Let's go".
I turn to her face and nodded.
"We're back! Oh, the teacher hasn't arrived" shout Chika to the class.
I can feel everyone's gazing all upon me and Chika. Not any vicious gazes though. I start walking towards my desk. And sit there. After a while, I see Arkan enters the class. He didn't look at me, he's focusing on his way to his desk. Only then greeted by someone. Maybe his friend, they seem close. He also said that he didn't have many friends.
Well... That's that!
