Seems to us that Gaja has already finished his ceremony and Mags was going to do his. There was a diagram on the raised platform at the end of the room. He was going towards it. It was an oval platform with lines drawn inside separating the oval into 14 colours representing each element. When Mags sat inside the platform the outline of the oval started to glow. He held his soul bead in his hand and sat in the lotus position. The soul bead was positioned between the fingers or the two hands that are kept near the middle of his crossed legs. He sat with his eyes for a few moments when the light started to envelop him which started from the soul bead.

The light flowing spread out of the soul bead and started to revolve around Mags really fast. I saw Mags eyes twitching even though it was shut. The scene continued with light revolving and surrounding him like a cocoon. After a few moments, the speed started to be so high like it was just a sphere of light cocoon around Mags, and the shape started to change into a conical sphere. The light began to shine brighter from the ground up and slowly rose about a foot above Mags head. The light started to descend onto the centre of Mags and light covered him as another layer closer to his body for a full minute. From head to toe, he was shining deep blue. The light was very bright, then the light in the circle also formed a conical sphere above his body and descended onto his body.

While the conical sphere was compressing itself above his head the blue light around his body started to retract to a point on the floor. Both of them reached about a centimetre diameter circle, they started to move towards each other. They collided near the chest of Mags. The collision gave a firework of blue light. And when the sparkles started to fade Mags opened his eyes slowly. He smiled as he opened his eyes, I believe the process was a success. He stood up and moved out of the platform. He smiled at us as he moved out. Gaja also saw us. Both of them came toward us and greeted us.

“You guys are also here to merge aren’t you. Don’t be afraid okay. It may seem like you might fail but you won’t just strap yourself in and trust the process. Go ahead that guy doesn’t like to be kept waiting”. Gaja said pointing us to a bald man who was smoking a cigar. He and Mags waved us goodbye and walked out of the room.

The bald guy saw us standing in front of the room he waved us to come in. There was another guy who was reading some book.

The Bald guy came forward and asked us “you guys are here for merging, right?”

We nodded our heads and said “yes.”

“Okay, great. Do all of you have mana or Ki or is there any one with Aatma?” He continued.

I raised my hand and replied “I have Aatma.”

The guy who was reading the book looked up and asked “Do you have egg or beast?”

“Egg” I replied.

“Okay, we will do your pact making last. Firstly, all of you take out your elemental essence and Portions. Mix it together. We will take you one by one.” The guy with the book said. The guy with the cigar was looking at our portions and essences.

The procedure started very soon, but the guy with the book came to me and asked “So, which beast?”

“Blackwater Eagle” I replied.

He lowered his book suddenly and looked at me with a surprised look and asked “Are you sure? Do you know the difficulties? Has anyone told you about those things to you?”

“The seller told me all the problems and I also read 2-3 books from the beast taming guild library. I know there are risks. But I believe it’s worth it.” I replied.

“Okay,” he seemed unconvinced “Do you know the difference between Soul Link and Soul merging?” he kept the book to the side while he asked me this.

“Soul linking means you become connected to the soul beast and Soul merging, you become one with the beast” I replied.

If a beast trusts us our growth, as well as its growth, will be very high” He looked at me very seriously and said “Many, I mean many, young people forget the importance of treating your soul beast as an equal. Don’t do that, it is not only detrimental to your beast but also to you. Ensure that the beast has an option to choose and not to choose you or your decisions. Even then if it chooses to follow you then you will succeed as a beast tamer, only then will you succeed” He finished.

By this time Oli, Muni and Jani had completed their procedure and were waiting for me to do the procedure.

I took the portion and was about to drink it when the guy with the book stopped me and said “Wait till you sit down”

I said “okay,” and I went and sat down on the platform.

The guy came to me and said “Drink half the bottle” I followed his instructions.

“Take out your beast egg” I took it out

“Keep the egg on your left hand, support it by placing your hand on your left leg,” he told me “Now, focus your mind, collect aatma in your mind sea and transfer it to the egg through your left hand at the same time, pour the portion through your right hand onto the egg while mixing the portion with your aatma. Listen carefully and send aatma through both your hands – with your right-hand mix with portion and with your left-hand direct aatma to the egg. Now pour the mixture onto the egg. Now your aatma will be poured onto the egg through the mixture as well as from under it through your left hand.” He said.

I started doing as he instructed. I collected aatma in my left and right hand and started sending it to the egg as instructed. My aatma in my mind sea was depleting fast giving me fear of fainting but then I could feel a wheel turning near my stomach. It was my dantian. It started to convert the aatma available in the atmosphere and purify it and send it to my mind sea. I could feel three different pathways establish in my body working at the same time one was collecting the atmospheric aatma and sending it to the dantian. The next was sending the purified aatma to the mind sea. The last was sending the aatma from my mind sea to my hands. While this process was going on continuously, I started to sense a life inside the egg waking up.

The life was confused as well as curious. It wanted to continue the enjoyment it gained from my aatma but was afraid of my aatma. I wanted to talk to it. But I could not open my mouth and say anything. It was like my mouth was glued shut.

I tried to send a message through my mind and it worked. I could feel the life responding to my mental transmissions. It was not ready to trust me but it felt a need to converse with me,

“Hey, buddy” I could finally see a Baby eagle in my mind sea. He was just looking around my mind sea. He had not decided to link with me. He was waiting to see what happens.

“I know you are confused, scared and untrusting towards me. Even I was like that when my parents died. I don’t know how to say things that could make you trust me. I could only say this, I need you. What I needed most now is a family. Maybe gods knew that and that’s why they gave me aatma as my primary. I need a group that I could trust blindly. I know that I have Oli, Muni and Jani as my trustworthy friends. And Oli will be family in future, but it’s not time yet. What I need is a brother or a sister. Someone I could share my burdens with, someone I could call a family, someone I could hug and cry in silence. I know you don’t want to trust me but give me a chance to be able to call someone brother. I want to create a partnership where we grow together and achieve what we could together” I was babbling whatever that comes to my mind by the end of my monologue. Even though I could not find any meaning in my words, the intention was there. Maybe the eagle also saw the sincerity in my voice, because he started to walk toward me. Step by step he trotted over slowly. When he stood in front of me looking up, I bend down and picked him up in the palm of my hands. I brought him near my face he leaned his face forward and bend it to touch my forehead with his forehead. I felt a sudden influx of energy coursing through my body. Oli, Muni and Jani were standing on the side looking at the process, they were blinded for a moment when Veda’s soul got linked. It was an amusing experience.

After the soul linking, I felt a little light on my head and it subsided easily. But I still felt a little weak. I slowly opened my eyes and looked at the egg and smiled lightly. I was about to stand up when I heard a small crack sound. I looked down and saw the egg was cracking. The guy with the book shouted at me. “Don’t stand up. Sit down”. The egg continued to crack all over.

The guy came forward and looked at the egg and told “Hey Archie, do you have any rejuvenation portion with you?”

The Bald guy replied “I think I do. Let me check” He closed his eyes for a moment then opened and materialised a bottle out of his hands and threw it to the book guy “Here, take it”.

“Thanks, can you go down to the reception and inform them not to send anyone for the next hour or two.” He said to Archie and looking at my friends he waved his hands indicating to come near.

He then looked at me and said “My name is Kamesh. Everybody calls me Kam. You guys can also call that. Your beast egg is about to hatch. The best thing now is to give it maximum aatma energy. I know you feel tired. But drink this rejuvenation portion and pour the mixture like earlier. You guys have additional portion with you, right”

“Yes. I do”

“Take it out and continue the same process as earlier”
