“No…. He is not here anymore. Where did he go, did he finally wake up and leave?” asked the old woman who entered the room Renji was held in earlier, she panicked once she saw the empty bed. Renji hadn’t woken up yet and now that he did, he disappeared. The old woman started panicking, searching every corner of the house to find the boy. While she was searching for Renji, the old man who came with her just sat on the sofa with his legs crossed, he started to scroll the news on his mana-powered phone. The old man didn’t seem bothered by the disappearance of the boy not at all.
“Why the hell do you seem so relaxed, huh? You knew he was about to wake up and take me out anyway, didn’t you? You wanted the boy to run away, didn’t you?” Asked the old woman angrily at the man who still seemed unbothered. Even though the old woman kept shouting at him he didn't respond not even once.
“Alright so that’s the game you want to play, don’t you? Okay then I will join you in the game, from today onwards you are to sleep out of the house, you are never to return inside the house from now on. Now GET OUT!” yelled the woman at the indifferent old man who was still scrolling on his phone. The scrolling finally came to an end when he was told to get out of his house by the woman, he looked at her with widened eyes he was left speechless.
“What do you mean I made him go out of this house? How would I know if he was going to wake up just when we went to see our friend? I saved the kid’s life when he had just a slither of life in him, why would I want him to venture out into the forest again? What do you think I am, a devil? I fed him such an expensive potion just for him to kill himself again?
Do you even hear what you are saying? If I had known he would wake up so soon, why would I go out of the house? I have never seen someone wake up so fast from the condition he was in, although the potion is a very high-ranking one it can't heal a person that quickly, it should have taken more time for him to wake up, you know that as well. So, why are we arguing about such a thing in the first place?” said the old man trying to calm the old woman down. But all his efforts had gone in vain as rather than calming her down, what he said added fuel to the fire.
“Oh, so want if I know huh? We could have left for your friend’s place some other day but you decided we should leave immediately; this is all your fault. What are you doing here still sitting? Go and find the kid before he becomes a meal to the monsters once more.” Said the old woman angrily she seemed very pissed at the old man who was still relatively enjoying the softness of the sofa.
“Well, I say let him become the dinner for the monsters, I hope he sacrifices himself for a family of starving monsters. At least that brat would be able to help some poor baby monsters survive this harsh world. Hahahah…..” said the old man with a sarcastic tone. This time the entire living room went silent, the only noise that could be heard was that of the animals and the insects from the forest. The old woman who was yelling till now just stood in front of the old man like a doll, her eyes blood red staring at the old man with a cold stare. It was as if she could kill him any second now, the old man didn’t raise his head he was trying not to look at the woman who. he had married.

“How is this any of my fault, just look at your phone, he must have used your phone once he woke up, he must have found out he was in the middle of such a dangerous forest. Look I know it's hard but he must not have any desire to live at all, so that’s why he decided to go and kill himself. It's not my fault okay baby, come sit here we will watch a movie and relax.” Said the old man, he tried to pull the woman onto the sofa, but she still stood there like a statue. The old man was still trying to avoid looking at his wife’s eyes.
“David Garcia, you want to die, don’t you?” the old woman had finally had enough of her husband’s nonsense, she finally used her aura to suppress her husband.
“Alright alright, I'll go and search for the little runt.” Said the old man while raising both of his hands, trying to show that he had surrendered.
“All of this would have been avoided if you had just placed the tracker on him when I told you to, he was just a normal boy without power he had no way of surviving in such a harsh environment, you should have listened to me then. I hope he isn’t dead, or else I you will be next.” Said the old woman menacingly.
“TSK…… alright alright, I'll bring him back safely. Just let me look at the sensor data of the past few hours and we will be able to locate the boy immediately.
“You better hurry. If he still is inside the area he might still be alive.” Said the old woman eagerly.
The old man touched a screen on the table in front of the sofa, and suddenly a hologram screen appeared in front of the couple. In the display, some kind of map was shown the map looked like same as the map of Forest of Grudges that Renji had looked at on the phone but many things were different on this map.
First of all, a small part of the area around the cottage of the couple was circled, and labeled as a safe zone on the map. Next many places had different names and illustrations of different types of monsters, there were also many zones painted in red with signs that read Do not enter on them. All in all, this map seemed to have been made by someone who had been to all of these places.
There were many options on the map, but the old man clicked on the part of the safe zone. Suddenly the map zoomed in on the safe zone and all you could see on the map was the safe zone and some options, it seemed like the radius of 10 km around the cottage was declared as a safe zone by the map. After looking at the map the old man didn’t find anything, so he clicked on the option which said recent movements.
“No no no, he had left the safe zone 1 hour ago. How can this happen? He is dead, I am sure he is dead.” Said the old woman as she started panicking.
“Calm down, I'll go in that direction right now and try to find him, just pray that the boy is fine.” Said the old man as he wore his coat and stepped outside of the cottage.
“Hurry, I don’t want to see him die, please let him be safe.” Said the old woman.
