Yup, this new body belonged to the now former prince Long Chusheng, the illegitimate son of Emperor Long Shen and Mo Hua, a palace maid. Elder brother of a now missing little sister, Long Hua.

With a mother who died in suspicious circumstances and a little sister who went missing after going out of town to train with her mysterious teacher. A tyrant of a father and a stepbrother who wanted to get rid of another threat towards the throne. This was a classic background for a classic protagonist.

Too bad for the protagonist though, I am an adult and I don't have the time to play such stupid games. I don't want some throne or power or flying in the sky or other such things.

I want a stable source of food, a comfortable home and complete peace of mind.

And with the powers that I now have thanks to whatever artifact that the idiot protagonist used, I can reach those goals very easily.

It was only five hours of ceaseless searching, coaxing, false promises, and threats that the lackey sent by my stepbrother left, probably presuming me dead which would make sense considering where we were.

The Yin Forest.

A massive dead forest southwest of the mainland of the Heavenly Immortal Empire that encompassed all known Human territories in this world. The very same empire that I was the Prince of.

This land was known as a death trap and hardly anyone would even dare to step onto its shores unless they were looking for ancient treasures or those looking to hide something.

This island was surrounded on all sides by massive amounts of Death Qi that can kill even the strongest of Experts of a minor sect and can seriously injure even an elder of a powerful sect unless they were cultivating the Yin element. The only way to enter this forest was by using ancient tokens which were all that was left of a very powerful sect that once called this place home. But there existed only 20 of these tokens and were heavily regulated by the imperial family. The tokens took five years to recharge once they were used continuously for 48 hours and the allotment of the number of tokens was decided every five years depending on the contribution of the sects in the territory of the empire.

As if this was not enough, the Island itself is extremely dangerous with demon beasts that have an extremely high level of cultivation along with many other dangers left behind by the Sect that lived on this island thousands of years ago.

Needless to say, the chances of someone with low cultivation level like the tenant in my mind surviving in this hell is absolutely zero. Fortunately, he is not the one in charge anymore and I had a nifty power of my own to save myself.

I dug the ground above me which fell into perfect cubes and dug myself out of the ground, a hasty hiding place I made when I realized that I was discovered by the lackey a day ago when I first arrived and realized the power I had.

It took me a few hours but I managed to build myself a temporary house made out of wood from the surrounding trees. A basic building with two floors with windows in the four cardinal directions that would give me a better view of my surroundings.

It was when I was building the second floor of this temporary house that I realized that my powers were not exactly as limited as they were in Minecraft.

In the game, it was impossible to create anything that was not already in the recipe book and it was not possible to swap materials to get a different effect from an object. But now, I was not limited like that.

I had used wood blocks to create a bed without the need for wool, a chair, and table, a sofa set, even a wardrobe.

It was also a very strange experience to use this power, it was like my body started to run on autopilot the moment I decide to create something from the materials I have and I end up creating things that are borderline physics-defining.

I definitely did not accidentally create a gun made of wood with stone bullets and I definitely did not get my hands injured from the said weapon exploding in my hand due to a malfunction.

It was inevitable that it exploded in your hands, the wood was not able to handle the energy from the explosion in the barrel that propelled the stone in it. You need to use much more sturdy materials, such as the Heavenly metals from the far north.

'And how would I get this metal? Last I checked, your memories suggest that the Heavenly Edge Sect has a monopoly over the mines that produce this metal in the Dead Lands and they will only sell a few kilograms of this metal every year

In this world, the Heavenly Empire was the top dog when it came to the Human race, followed by the three great sects which were then followed by the four minor sects and countless other small sects that dotted the territory of the empire which were not officially recognized by the empire.

This distinction was partially due to the cultivation system of this world which was heavily based on the manipulation of the elements.

The three great sects were once known as the Five great sects with each sect specializing in one of the five Chinese Elements.

The Heavenly Edge Sect specialized in the element of Earth. This sect was responsible for watching over the northern border of the empire and repelling the countless monsters of the Dead Lands.

The Great Seas Sect was a great sect that specialized in Water, but due to a massive war in the past, it went extinct and The Sea God City now rests upon the ruins of this sect watching the western border of the Empire.

The Hidden Sect of the Wood specialized in the element of Wood and is located to the far east of the empire and watches over the threats towards the empire that would arise from the oceans.

The Volcanic Dragon Sect specialized in the element of Fire and is located to the North-West of the Empire. They moved their sect from the South when the entire southern territory of the continent underwent a disaster and was covered in Death Qi, including my current location of the Yin forest.

The Immovable Immortal sect specialized in the element of Metal, it was the other sect that went extinct alongside The Great Seas Sect due to the war, but the real reason for the destruction of the sect is something that is kept a secret, the only people who know what happened are the Sect heads of the three remaining sects and the father of my current body. They are also the real owners of the mines that are now being monopolized by the Heavenly Edge Sect.

Aside from these main sects, there are a few other sects that specialize in elements that are not considered the core elements of the world, however, they have done deeds that bring glory to the empire and were officially accepted as minor sects by the empire.

The Divine Wind Sect, The Jade Sect, The Ice Demon Sect, and the Boundless Sands Sect are the current recognized minor sects.

'Stop speaking to yourself and get to work, this shabby house is not worthy of being called the abode of a prince like me'

Annoyed at the voice, I concentrated on the spirit of the idiot and used my power to imagine a hammer hitting his head, the cry of agony from him satisfied me enough to stop and get back to my task. But what the idiot said still remained in my mind, it Is true that my current home is lacking in the aspect of protection even though its walls were 60 cm thick, they were still made of wood, even a sufficiently motivated Qi establishment realm demon beast, which was considered as the most common type of beasts in this area, can tear through my house with a little effort.
