Boooom!!
'What the hell? Didn't you say that we are safe here behind this wall of metal?'
'I did say that we are 'probably' safe here, I am not going to guarantee anything until I know exactly what I am dealing with here'
'And that involves blowing a hole in the ground that is big enough to swallow an entire building?'
'Hey! It was your idea to experiment with the Spirit Stones to see if I can use them as a pseudo-Qi source to create or power formations'
'I thought that you would simply grind them into dust to use a little amount of the potent natural Qi in them to draw formations, not whatever the hell that was'
'That was a recreation of a Redstone contraption from the game, it was supposed to create automated doors that would open and close when we step on the pressure plate I created from the stone cubes'
'And that somehow led to the strange formation you used ending up in a massive explosion when you threw a stone on the pressure plate for testing, now, we are homeless, again!'
'It's not like you are the one rebuilding the house, besides, this provides us with the opportunity to upgrade our house, since Iron cubes have proven to be insufficient to withstand that level of explosions, how about we make it out of Tungsten this time?'
'That's the excuse you used the last two times our home exploded because of your crazy experiments, the first time, you created one of those gun things again from that tungsten metal and used the Spirit Stone dust as the explosive material, the resulting explosion directly blew you away by a distance of 2 Li and destroyed our entire house which was made of extremely thick wood, most of all, you destroyed our bed!'
'Hey! That was an important experiment to check if I could use the Spirit Stones as Explosive material to create weapons, and it worked!'
'It worked a little too well, besides, you did not have to experiment to know they were explosive, you could have asked me and I would have told you that myself'
'Given your track record of consistently proving yourself useless, can you blame me for thinking that you would not know about it?'
'…..A fair point, but still, what about your second experiment?'
'That was a necessary test to see if I could incorporate Spirit Stone dust into creating a durable armor'
'And that resulted in the Armor exploding when it was hit by a simple arrow, blowing up our house, which was made this time using stone upon my insistence for safety and yet still failed, imagine what would have happened if you have worn that armor for testing like you were moronically going to do before I stopped you'
'……..Okay, I'll admit it, it was not my brightest moment, but still, I learned that if I weave it in specific ways the Spirit Stones can be used in armor to enhance my strength, speed, and overall abilities, making it a power armor equivalent in this world'
'Which would be completely useless once you met someone that was in the Elemental Soul Awakening realm who can directly punch you into oblivion, armor or no armor'
'And how many Elemental Soul Awakening realm experts are there in the Empire?'
'In the Capital? Several, in the frontier towns? None'
'Precisely, since I don't plan on going anywhere near the Capital of either the Empire or the Demonic Kingdom, I should be safe as long as I complete the Armor I am making using the Spirit Stones'
'…..I wouldn't be so sure, with our luck, an expert might suddenly fall out of the sky to make things difficult'
I immediately looked up and scanned the sky with my keen senses while slowly retreating behind the Tungsten wall I was using as safety during the experiment.
'Don't scare me like that Idiot, given your backstory as a former protagonist you should not be tempting Murphy like that'
'….whose murphy?'
I ignored his incessant rambling and focused back on my experiment.
It has been a few weeks since I killed the Demon Mole and came to the conclusion that, for now, I was incapable of Cultivating and my daily life fell into a routine.
I would wake up in the morning, hunt a few normal beasts for food, expand my mine, from the cave of the Demon Mole, look for precious or strange materials, experiment with said materials with whatever idea I cooked up at that time, rebuild my house if it blows up, if not continue experimenting, eat to restore any damage I incurred during said experimenting, research to find a way to learn formations without Qi, sleep in my comfy bed made from stone and the many furs I had collected over the course of the last few weeks, wake up in the morning and repeat.
It took me two days to completely clear out the Demon Mole cave of any precious resources I could find, including the tons of Spirit Stones I harvested. According to the Idiot, I will need to go to a Human town to mint the Spirit Stones into usable currency from their raw form but I supposedly had the equivalent of a lifetime's worth of fortune of a Minor Sect Leader in my storage not counting the many other precious resources like the Demonic Core, the internal organs of the Demon Mole and a few other odds and ends.
After that, I expanded the cave until I ended up creating a massive cavern that served as the hub of my mining corridors from which I used a conventional strip mining method to completely hollow out the ground around my home in search of precious materials, and boy did I find them.
This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.
Emeralds, Gold, Silver, Copper, Titanium, Diamonds, and many other mundane materials, I had more of this stuff in my storage than I knew what to do with, but the real precious stuff was found when I dug even deeper and hit jackpot.
Veins of precious Qi rich metals that had many elemental properties, precious stones that were supposedly considered as the best conductors of Qi, and many untapped veins of Spirit Stones.
But the most interesting thing that I found was the existence of a massive man-made wall that stopped me from digging deeper than I had dug until that point. Made of an unknown metal that even the Idiot was unable to identify, I could not even put a scratch on it even when I used a pickaxe made from Diamonds.
The Idiot and I discussed for a few hours until we finally ruled out all the plausible answers and arrived at the conclusion that this must be the hidden base of the Sect that was supposedly destroyed during the disaster that engulfed the entire southern section of the continent in Death Qi.
This discovery was what motivated me to begin my experiments in the first place to find out if I could create something to break through the wall and see what was inside, but so far I have yet to come up with a plan to break through that wall.
I discovered that, when used in limited quantities, I could replicate the effect of Redstone with the Spirit Stone dust, but the amount of dust I could use safely without blowing myself up was so small that I cannot make any of the Redstone contraptions that I liked from the game, hell, the dust is barely enough to create a Redstone torch equivalent, then there is the problem that, unlike Redstone, the Spirit stone dust eventually runs out of power making them useless most of the time.
Since that line of research met a dead end, I started to work on incorporating Spirit Stone into my Tungsten armor designs to give myself additional protection in case I ran into another Demonic Beast, I definitely did not want to feel that pain when that thing hit me ever again. But the experiment failed when the Armor exploded from having too much Spirit Stone dust in it. After a few days of trial and error, I finally came up with a design where I used a furnace to heat up the Spirit Stones enough that they would be malleable but not enough to cause them to explode and created strands similar to muscle tissues in a human body and incorporated them into the Armor, successfully completing my experiment and giving myself a powerful armor, although I had to block out the pained cries from the idiot in my head when I was heating the Spirit Stones.
After that day, I gained a little bit of success in incorporating Spirit Stones into my tools and researched many ways to improve them. Unfortunately, I got too carried away with my recent success and decided to try once again to create a Redstone contraption using a little too much Spirit Stone dust.
This was what led to the explosion earlier with my house now completely wrecked again.
After making sure that Murphy had not heard the Idiot's comment, I came out from my hiding spot and started to look at the result of the experiment.
I kind of have mixed feelings about what I am seeing.
Due to my excessing hollowing of the underground in the area, the explosion has created a massive hole that directly leads into my mine, a hole that has now deposited what was left of my house directly into the Mining Hub I had created with it completely exposed to the surface.
On one hand, I feel very uncomfortable with the fact that my secret retreat in case my house is compromised is exposed to the world in such a way, on the other hand, I don't have to go down the winding labyrinth that I created to get to the Hub anymore. This is not a good thing since I created that Labyrinth in the first place to confuse any possible intruders.
'…..I think we need to move to a new spot'
'Yeah, the only thing left in this place for me is that massive wall, and I don't think I am breaking into that anytime soon, we should move a little bit away from this place, far enough that we can deny having anything to do with this incident if someone finds this place during the next expedition from the sects five years from now'
With that thought concluded I stored away anything useful I could find and I gracefully walked ways from the place, and anyone who says I ran as if something was chasing me has clearly seen the wrong person.

(POV Third-person)
Once the strange idiot left the massive Cavern and ran away, the debris of the house gave way to reveal that the explosion from before had knocked a part of the cavern loose, exposing a small door that was connected to the metal wall in the mines, and the door was a little bit bent on the top due to some kind of an attack from the inside.
From the bend section, black smoke slowly started to flow out and coalesce into a small black wolf with deep red eyes and midnight black fur.
The wolf looked around itself and moved its body as if testing it. Once it was done, a savage grin not unlike someone plotting something appeared on its face as it closed its eyes. Part of its throat visibly shifted while the Wolf grunted in pain before a melodious voice rang out.
"Finally, I managed to break out of that accursed Seal, Hehe, even though my strength is not what it used to be, this princess will definitely regain her strength easily in a few years, and this time, there are no Elemental Sages left on this continent to stop me, FuFufuf"
The Wolf chuckled and turned into black smoke which escaped out of the Cavern, leaving towards the unknown.
