The flight from Florence to London only took 2 hours. It wasn't my first flight as I traveled with Benjamin once a year. But our trips were never really ordinary either. From safari tours to a desert hike, pretty much everything was included. Even though I sometimes wished for a relaxed beach vacation, I looked forward to our next trip every year. It was the only time I got to see more of the world than our gigantic front garden. I hope everything goes well with Benjamin and we see each other again soon.
As London is a huge city with over 8 million inhabitants, it also has several airports. The airport I arrived at was quite a distance from the city center, so it was a 2 hour cab ride to the hotel. When I arrived at the hotel I was speechless, I knew from the price that this would be anything but normal vacation accommodation but it exceeded my expectations. My suitcases were carried up for me by a member of staff and at the entrance a woman with long blonde hair and a slight smile approached me.
"Welcome to the Royal Palace Hotel young man, are you here alone or will your parents be joining you?" she said as politely as you would expect from an Englishwoman.
"Good afternoon, I'm here alone on vacation and would like to check in," I replied as politely as possible. I knew that it would come across as a bit strange if a boy like me booked a room alone here in Westminster, the political center of London. So I tried to avoid problems as much as possible so as not to attract attention.
After a brief welcome and check-in, I was given a quick tour of the hotel. From restaurants to pools and wellness facilities, as well as a gym, there was nothing missing. As we walked past the gym, I thought about how I had neglected my daily training for the first time in as long as I could remember and how Benjamin would punish me if he knew. The thought that I should start my training again soon crossed my mind as the staff member kept talking and we finally arrived at my room. Once I was finally alone in my room, the first thing I did was go straight to the window on the other side and as expected, it had a good view of my target. The reason I had chosen this overpriced location to start my plan was that across the street from my hotel was Wright's campaign office. From this position it would be easier to track his location without attracting attention. Among the documents left in the stash were a resume and school transcripts, as well as a birth certificate. I even found papers that pointed to a bank account with login details, all of which, like the passport, bore the name Blaze Coleman. I have to say John was very neat in his work there are no gaps it's like I've lived a completely different life until now. The bank account helped to get this room without any problems, and even though I didn't like accepting John's things at first, I decided to put my anger aside until I found out the complete truth. After I had unpacked, I started my observation and my first goal was to find everyone Wright would be in contact with over the next few days. Since I can't contact Wright directly because he is a respected politician and businessman, I have to find someone from Trident. Hopefully I'll get in touch with him through them.

It took until evening but then I saw him, he was surrounded by two security men and talking to an older man. Wright seemed to be a very serious man, even when his counterpart smiled his face hardly moved, he came across very differently than in his interviews online but that is probably the case with most politicians. A short time later, he got into a car alone with his security staff and drove away. The older man smiled until the car turned the corner and when he was sure Wright was gone his smile broke into an expression of relief. A while later I found out that the man's name was Alex Moor and that he was Wright's campaign manager. I repeated my stakeout for a few days, mostly from my hotel room, sometimes as a passerby on the street, and once I went to one of Wright's campaign speeches. During this time I had been able to locate several names that Wright had contacted, most of them businessmen who supported him or other politicians from his party. But there were also some men I didn't know about from the Internet, so I took the next step in my plan. I was sure that most members of an organization like Trident wouldn't want to cause a stir, so I decided to shadow Wright's acquaintances that I couldn't find out much about.
How to shadow someone is also something Benjamin taught me. He thought it was important because information was the best weapon from his point of view and information gathering was an art. At first I thought Benjamin was crazy about this subject, but our training showed once again how incredible Benjamin was. When tailing, you must never be noticed by your target, so you can't be too close, but if you are too far away you could lose him. Benjamin also taught me that you should never do close-up shadowing alone. The risk of being noticed is too great and it actually requires good coordination between several people, but I was alone so I just had to be even more careful. I had several targets of which I first found out where they lived and then took turns observing them at different times. Some of my observations didn't turn up much, they were just simple employees in Wright's company, but I quickly realized that Wright was also dealing with some shady people. I couldn't find anything specific, but some of these men met in groups in out-of-the-way places. It seemed that criminal activities were being planned, from drug deals to extortion. But the biggest discovery was that several of Wright's acquaintances met regularly at a fight club in Brixton. I posed as a boy who was new to the area and asked some youths about the club. I found out that a lot of teenagers went there too and that the club was owned by one of my targets, a man known locally as AJ. His real name is Adam Jone and he is respected by everyone here. Not everyone I approached seemed enthusiastic, some ignored me and others seemed scared. But then I met a girl called Jane who told me something new.
"You should stay away from there," she warned me.
"Why exactly?" I asked.
"The club is used to get teenagers to do the dirty work for AJ and his boys" she replied.
"How exactly do you know that?"
"They offer the boys a lot more money than they could earn through normal work, my brother also started working for them and since then he's been behaving like a different person".
"I understand, thanks for the warning Jane" I answered before leaving.
When I got back to the hotel that day, I knew what to do. I started looking for apartments in Brixton on the internet for the next step.
