Intermission 5 - An Elf among inferior Elves
The worst experience ever since coming to this foreign world was meeting the inferior elves that reside here. I, a lone high elf from Arlenia, never cared for the concept of races, for I was created by my master Dasas. However, I do take pride in my elven lineage and magic power giving me a strong body to better serve my master as his knight.
After the most epic battle I ever fought. The enemy was the white-haired harlot calling herself Lana, for I was unfortunate enough to meet these inferior elves. They irritated me more than the harlot I fought. Why do they annoy me so?
First off, they bared hostility towards my master and party. Next, I could not sense any military discipline from their frail bodies. I don’t know what was it, but their very presence felt displeasing as I notice they kept staring at me.
They also dare to demand I go with them. Now, if that was not enough, for my master wished to travel along with these inferior elves to their home and get them to join our army. Our party ended up separating due to these uncouth elves refusing to take along the others.
Their reasoning was that they possessed enmity towards other races. Such muddle-headed thoughts run through their little brains. An enemy is an enemy, and a friend is a friend regardless of race to me.
Not to mention, the members of my party are made of various races created by my great master Dasas. For these inferior elves to deny them was the same as denying my master. Such words deserved me cutting them down, if not for my master wishing for friendly negotiations.
In the end Caster, Assassin, and Rider were forced to split with us and go back to my master’s domain to stand by. They also tried to deny Lancer, but my master eloquently convinced them to let us take her along. Now it was master, Archer, Lancer, and I tasked with traveling with the elves to their home.
The journey itself was quite easygoing except for the fact these elves were very rude to master. There would be no problem if they kept their distance. However, being the vulgar elves they are, for they kept causing trouble with us. Especially, they always kept watch on me. Was a foreign elf so unusual to them?
One of the elves by the name of Byron was especially boorish. I was forced to teach him a lesson with force after he tried challenging Archer. She could have taken him down alone fine, but my temper got the better of me. I end up knocking back that idiot with my shield.
The wretched cur only became more annoying after I beat him down. Something must be wrong with his head. Afterwards, I learn this flipped a switch in him and now he wishes to court me. Sadly, I’m not flattered. Would a woman be, if a disgusting bug tried to bite you? I despise bugs.
“Hey Saber. Will you give your first to that creepy elf guy?” –Archer
Archer had to ask such a crude question when we were alone with a dirty smirk upon her face. Why was she always like this? If she was a cat girl then it would make more sense, but she was a dog girl.
“Not as long as I draw breath. Unless master orders me to marry him, then I have no choice but to do so.” –Saber
“Boooo! You’re no fun Saber! Plus way too stiff. Got to loosen up sometimes.” –Archer
As a proud knight serving my master this was the only way. Do not take my solemn vow as a knight lightly. To serve my master was my entire being. I am a loyal knight before I am a woman.
“No need. I’m fine as I am.” –Saber
Many days passed. The trip being quite fast thanks to the two qilins master summoned. We got close to the home of these inferior elves. Shrugging off the constant harassment by Byron only made the trip more unbearable. Relief was near as we finally reached the great forest Elfheim.
When we enter the great forest we were greeted with troublesome treant monsters. I remember farming them with master back in Arlenia. An annoying fight they will be without Caster here.
The inferior elves did something that lowered my opinion of them even more. They lowered their heads and paid respects to these fiendish monsters that are only useful for making kindle. Such a disgrace to the elven race and I can’t stand to look at them.
“Such inferior elves. Lowering their heads to a monster.” –Saber
I can only whisper such a sentiment. My master and our party were here for negotiations, so I can’t cause trouble. I’m learning to be more tolerant if it concerns my master. He only needs to say the word and I will immediately wield my Excalibur to cut them down if need be.
The detestable treants let us pass and we make way to the elven village. The inferior elves display such barbaric behavior living in the forest like mere beasts, and even befriending the monsters. The elves back at Arlenia created a kingdom and live behind the walls of the majestic castles they built. The difference between the two worlds and elven races were evident here.
We finally arrived at the elf village and I’m made to witness how these elves truly live. They live in tree houses. Are they monkeys? Instead of feeling disgust, for I can only feel embarrassment. Their strong attachment to nature was too much. If they take it this far, then I can only feel awe at such a scene.
Even as a loyal knight with strict discipline, for I can still feel appreciation on beautiful things. I must admit this village was surprisingly quite dazzling. The balls of light floating around at the treetops where the elves make their home, for it adds to the effect.
Trying my best not to ogle at the scenery too much and the inferior elves was leading the way to their leader. We came upon a shining pond and what looks like white horses with horns on their heads. There I saw a blue-haired elf woman dressed in an elegant robe colored white and blue.
The most significant thing I noticed was how my master gazed at that woman with a bewitched expression. It only lasted a second if not less. He probably thought no one noticed, but it did not escape my eyes.
Keen eyesight and observation to always be aware of the surroundings was a requirement for any knight tanking. A passive skill required for blocking and parrying any and all attacks from the enemy.
I’m not sure how to feel about my master being enamored with some inferior elf. Not even sure if that was the case for my master. I lack experience in such areas. However, such things were the private business of my master and not a place for a knight to interfere.
The blue-haired elf woman approached us and kneeled to my master. She called my master the contractor of the spirit kings. I was not sure what she meant but does it have to do with my master being a summoner?
The inferior elves around us were shocked at the revelation caused by the woman that looked to be their leader. My master was a great being, so of course he was capable of great things. These elves finally know their place.
The leader of these elves called herself the spirit priestess Nele. I will just call her Nele. No need to call her by title being an inferior elf. Then Nele led us to her home.

Nele invited us into her home and after conversing a bit showed us a big crystal structure underground. There we learn it was something related to master. Also it brought grave news of how the harlot might destroy the world if she gets her hands on it.
After seeing the crystal structure, for Nele invited us back to her room and treated us to some very delicious tea. While she and my master conversed, I learned some very important secrets. My master Dasas came from a world called Earth. Apparently, it was the same world Nele’s hero came from. The one she told us in her story.
Negotiations for an alliance with these inferior elves fell through. However, Nele decided to join my master in the battle against the white-haired harlot in return. After that she assigned us some lodgings for our stay in their village.
For some reason it was decided all the females of the group were to take a bath in some stream before settling down. This was suggested by Nele claiming it will improve our health greatly. My group had no choice but to accept as not to spoil their hospitality. I’m trying my best to learn tolerance. I don’t want to trouble master.
We separated away from the men and we females made way for this source of spring water. Once we arrived at the spirit spring we all started to undress. There are four women and one little girl here readying for a bath. Nele, Calista, Archer, Lancer, and myself.
I started to undress by switching out my armor and placing it in my equipment box. While in my undergarments I decided to switch my clothes to a stylish red bikini gifted to me by master. He received it from some sort of summer special event in Arlenia.
“Oh my! How did you make your clothes and armor disappear? Not to mention having another outfit appear.” –Nele
“Here I thought only the dragon god had crazy storage magic.” –Calista
The two inferior elves are surprised by Archer and me storing gear in our equipment box. Such storage magic was always available to us, so I never thought much of it. Did this mean only players and people created by them have storage boxes?
“I was always capable of doing this.” –Saber
“All servants of boss are capable of it. Well except Lancer. Poor Lancer…” –Archer
“I don’t mind…” –Lancer
The elves Nele and Calista have faces full of shock and envy as they learn about our equipment storage box. The equipment storage box was convenient, but it can only store a limited number of gear sets. However, I think master has unlimited storage and can put anything in his. Master was great after all.
“Spirit magic can’t do such things.” –Nele
“So convenient and I’m jealous.” –Calista
“Never mind that!! Why is it all of us are naked, but Saber is wearing a bikini?” –Archer
Archer was giving me an accusing glare and I noticed everyone aside from me was nude…
“Hmph. As a knight, I at least know to have some modesty. As not to shame my master.” –Saber
I dislike being nude. Especially, in front of strangers no less.
“Fu fu fu. I suggest taking it all off. Bathing in spirit water is many times more refreshing when nude.” –Nele
“Yea! Yea! Take it all off Saber! Strip and show us what you got!” –Archer
Why are they all eager to see me naked? Archer was also the most adamant about it. I will be sure to get her later for this. At least Lancer was quiet and she already entered the water. I decided to give in and took off my bikini and jumped straight in the water. The rest of the women followed.
When I entered the water I felt something warm surround my body and gave me a very relaxing sensation. I must admit it was a good idea to try this bath, for I don’t regret it. If only I was alone.
“How is the water? To your satisfaction?” –Nele
“Mmm. Not bad.” –Saber
“It’s sooooooo good!!” –Archer
“…(nods)” –Lancer
“The best as always, my priestess.” –Calista
While we were all enjoying ourselves and soaking our bodies in this spirit spring, for I noticed something. I caught Nele and Calista staring at my body. In a panic I tried to cover myself up with my arms. Are they perverts?
“What you two looking at?” –Saber
I tried glaring at the two as to ascertain their motives for doing such a thing.
“My apologies. Saber was it? As an elven kin I’m interested in you. Also, not to mention your body is very smooth.” –Nele
“It is too smooth. I see no blemishes or any stretch marks at all. How can such a thing be possible? Not like you were born recently. There should be signs of wear and tear. All living things should have some marks.” –Calista
This body was created by my master, so of course it was perfect. However, I don’t think I should mention we servants were created by my master Dasas. I dislike having these elves know too much about us. I don’t want to do so without the permission of master.
“So perfect that it is uncanny.” –Nele
“Hey. Hey. Why are you only mentioning how smooth Saber is? You guys think I’m hairy huh? I’m a dog girl dammit. It’s a racial trait! I have an excuse and it’s natural!” –Archer
The outburst from Archer saved me from answering their question. I’m not sure if it was intentional or not. I can never tell with Archer. Either way I’m grateful.
Nele and Calista end up dropping the issue. We start getting somewhat friendly and conversing on random topics. Sadly, the topic was directed to romantic topics. Something I’m not good at.
“So it looks like Byron has the hots for Saber.” –Calista
“Oh my, now that is interesting. The unmovable mountain Bryon finally did it huh.” –Nele
“Hahaha. At least he has excellent taste.” –Archer
Why did the conversation have to be about that bug? Such unpleasantness, for I’ll show this woman what is what. I can play this game too.
“Hmph. I have keen sight and noticed you Calista always gazing at Byron. You try to be sneaky about it, but nothing can escape my eyes.” –Saber
“Wah?” –Calista
“Now that is very surprising. I didn’t even notice. Calista you…” –Nele
“Hahaha. Such great women’s intuition you have there, Saber.” –Archer
Again with the dirty smirk plastered on Archer’s face. Ugh, why she got to do this to me? I’m a knight, for I have no such womanly instincts.
“No such thing. It’s a knight’s keen sense honed from battle.” –Saber
“It’s women’s intuition!” –All the women
“…(nods)” –Lancer
“Kuh!!” –Saber
Such unpleasant talk, but oddly I found it refreshing and even entertaining. We all kept playing around for a bit and finished cleaning our bodies in the spring. We all stepped out and dressed and prepare to settle down for the night.
I suppose these inferior elves are not all bad. However, I still retain my distaste for that man Byron. The mongrel did dare to bare his fangs at my master. So then the first night in the great forest Elfheim comes to a close.
