Above the world, out in the deep of space, a variety of purple spontaneous flashes in the form of a misty cloud drifted.
The cloud expanded wide and contracted small making all kinds of strange shapes and designs. As it continued to churn and shift never ceasing its constant movement, flashes of small but spectacular gold and silver began to shoot out of the cloud. The small stars were thrust into the void coming to a stop to surround the purple kingdom of mist. 1... 2...4...5.... as the little stars joined their peers in the vast void of space they began to slowly orbit each other. Flashes of light could be seen occasionally as well as strange feelings emitted from the celestial beings...
Somewhere... far far away on the surface of a small little rock.... a man and his family peered at the stars through a telescope... wonder and terror in equal amounts gripping their tiny little hearts....
Hidden from their sight in the kingdom of purple, A man-shaped from clouds sat upon a small simple stool. His face shifted from old to young... innocent to wise.... angry to sad... sometimes the almost smooth skin-like texture became fuzzy, whilst his eyes became sharp...
The man subtlety glanced around at what would be the new heavens and then rested his intense gaze down below with evident fondness, curiosity and a touch of playfulness. This was what would become the new world...
Ambulous chuckled
“ha, at least things are getting interesting” an edge to his voice failing to hide itself.
This was going to be very interesting indeed.
The newly born stars had begun their journey. 12 little stars in the ebb and flow of each other's orbit. One curious little star even dared to enter the nebulous kingdom of flickering purple and swiftly returning... after which this little star started to shout into the void...
Back on the world of Origin... a young man...
Oblivious to everything happening around him, Adam was experiencing his own unique situation.
Eyes closed, a gentle, loving breeze brushed against his cheek the care of devotion of which could only be displayed by pure and unconditional love. He could smell the scent of fresh sunflowers, the air of summer filling his lungs...
Instantly, for the first time in over a decade... Adam was at peace.
Adam opened his eyes as the rays of morning sun made their glorious entrance through his bedroom window. He got up swiftly, today was going to be a big day... After getting ready he began, time to explore! He ran outside soon reaching the local fields a few minutes from his house, the hot summer rays caressed his face, his smile as bright as the sun itself. Two little feet drummed a “pitter-patter” against the rich earth as he ran the sound accompanied by the most beautiful little laugh.
The thick sunflower fields were like a jungle to him, he could barely see anything it was so thick and tall. Fortunately for Adam, he was not alone. He was never alone, after all... He was loved.
From the funny old lady at the fish market who was very kind even if she was very wrinkly... he didn’t know why she was so wrinkly.... to his most beautiful and special Nanna who he loved very much.... even if she was quite naughty.
Who also, by the way, was not wrinkly at all, even though she was very old.
Simply...Everyone loved Adam.
He breathed in deep and evenly beginning to feel himself drift along the breeze... time passed.
Now he was with his Nanna the most beautiful person in the world... well... the most beautiful after his Mother... and then maybe himself... only because his Mother did always say he was the most beautiful person in the world and she was never wrong.
With his Nanna things were always about having fun. She pulled silly faces, told terribly rude stories and even swore!!!

When he was at home with just him and his Mother he spent most of his time doing chores... Carrying things, cooking food, studying, exercising... all sorts of work really.
He didn’t mind though:
“A man’s job is to take care of his woman and to take care of his family”
“oh...”
“And to take care of himself, you can’t do the other two without taking care of yourself”
Adam drilled this message into his mind every day even when he was with Nanna who always kept reminding him to not be so serious.
“Little boys are supposed to be getting into mischief and having fun” Nanna said this...alot
“ha” it made Adam laugh.
He didn’t know any other little boys around here but he knew what little boys were supposed to do, he always had known.
“Little boys were supposed to grow up big and strong and take care of their mum”
Nanna never really understood that, what kind of son gets into mischief and wastes time “having fun”? He needs to get strong as fast as possible to look after his mum... his Mother...
She didn’t like it when he called her Mum. It wasn’t proper apparently, well that’s what she said but Adam knew deep down she liked it so sometimes he could get away with it.
Anyway... it wasn’t like spending time with Mum and Nanna wasn’t fun. He loved them very much andhe was happy just spending time with them doing his bit to help out... because that’s what he was here for...
Another day with Nanna flew by, this time they went out to a cafe, spoke to the old wrinkly lady at the fish market and bought lots of groceries. This time they even bought some sweets.
One thing he did enjoy was eating sweets. He knew they were expensive and you weren’t supposed to eat lots of them so he only ever asked for one or two and only when he was with Nanna but she always bought him more... She was really quite silly and always did whatever she wanted. Adam had seen her pull pranks on people, feed random dogs downtown and even, one time... he saw her smoke!
On the way back from the town Adam and Nanna walked through the field of sunflowers, she wasn’t really a flower person but Adam had been asking her to walk this way today and she rarely could say no to her grandson. Even if he was a little serious most of the time he was such a beautiful little boy. She had no idea how he turned out so perfect... especially with such an awful..... well that thought wasn’t worth finishing....
That evening when Nanna returned with Adam they gave his Mother a freshly picked sunflower, beautiful, large and filled with life.
Mum was so happy she cried, which obviously made Nanna cry... BUT ADAM DIDN’T CRY...
Men don’t cry and though Adam knew he was just a boy, his goal in life was to become the best man in the whole world, and to do that he can’t go around crying all the time can he?
It was probably the happiest he’d ever felt... The happiest he had felt in his... in his life?
The scenes started to speed up and everything started to rush forward...
“N..no”
Adam stirred from his blissful immersion
The happiest he’d felt in his 20 years...
The happiest he’d ever felt.....
The happiest he would ever feel??
Suddenly The sky darkened, his mind started to grow chaotic.
His Mother...
They’d also picked a sunflower for her on that day too...
A storm started to brew...
The gentle wind became agitated, starting to spiral and churn. The calm, loving breeze no longer graced his cheek. Instead, the wind had become violent and cold, uncaring it battering his body, pushing him from side to side, from front to back... It had no care for him anymore, after all, what did his feelings matter? If his feelings mattered to this world... it wouldn’t have....his Mother... she wouldn’t have...
The dark sky was now violent, a deep dark blue... Lightning crackled in the clouds above, the wind was so strong he felt like he’d be blown off his feet at any moment.
He was dying right?... Surely he was dying?
The pain he felt. There could only be one explanation. He had to be dying.
Hopefully, he was dying...
Water dripped down his cheeks, cruel voices sobbed all around him.
They were liars, this sadness wasn’t real... It couldn’t be real none of it!...
Black figures surrounded him, evil shadowy monsters that wore the faces of those he knew... They should all just go away... go away and leave him alone... after all... Adam was alone... Alone and unloved
His eyes snapped open.
A flash of brilliant sapphire blue, an explosion of crackling, glowing whips... Adam bolted up from the ground, almost flying to his feet.
A face like thunder his head whirled around, baring his teeth and balling his fists... Whatever came at him he was ready. The world hadn’t done him any favours since... and it wasn’t about to let him off easy now...
He shot over to the sisters. Golden blond hair thrashed in the wind. Radiant blue eyes pierced the world with clarity and alarm. All the while two polished gems of sapphire rolled down his cheeks.
He reached for that bright blue energy, ready to throw up a barrier at any moment.
Amber lay silent on the floor clutching her head, eyes scrunched up, dry tears staining her cheeks. She sobbed silently.
It looked agonising; he’d never seen Amber look so... ugly?
He quickly felt shame at the thought and pushed it away... “she’s alive that’s the main thing”
And Emily...
EMILY!
He yanked his head from side to side.
Where is?...
He looked around but... where...Emily... she was... gone?...
“SHIT... what’s going on?.... Where’s.....”
Before he could finish his line of thought he felt a tug on his jacket...
He turned back around, glowing light blue crackled in between his fingers like serpents ready to...
“Adam...” a weak voice came from the broken woman below him...
He’d always seen her as the strong, brave type but that voice.... it shook him all the way down to his core...
“I’m... I’m here Amber... I... I’m here...”He was disgusted with how anxious he sounded... but he just...
He just didn’t know what else to say... He didn’t know what to do...
Not knowing what was going to happen, not knowing if his friend was okay, where Emily was, even if any of them were going to live or what the hell was going on!
For the first time in a long time, true panic set in. A storm of emotions let loose.
Before he even realised what had happened, with a flash a blue dome appeared around the two, blocking out the rest of the world....
