Chapter 6 - Space Magic
I've already spent over five years in this world. My body has been developing smoothly and I'm now basically capable of everything a normal human should be able to do. I can finally explore more of this world, though only under the supervison of my parents.
Although I'm certainly strong enough to survive in this world, I want to enjoy living a quiet and pieceful live a bit longer. Mondern society was way too fast moving for me. Living in constant stress, never fully getting to rest. It saps the lifeforce right out of you.
In the last three years I spent most of my time in the world of mana. By shutting of all senses other than [Mana Sense] I've continuously immersed myself, trying to become part of this world. By doing so I've vastly increased the distance I can cover with my mana sense. Now, even covering the entire city is not out question, though I probably wouldn't be able to hold out for long. Taking in vast amounts of information really strains the mind. Doing it again and again did help alleviate the burden, but I can't say im getting used to yet.
During my training periods, I could also confirm one hypothesis of mine. Humans, at least in this city, are extremely weak when compared to myself. The strongest person I could sense emits way less mana than I did even right after being born. However, I can't say so for certain as mothods for reducing emitted mana pressure do exist, I'm using one after all. Additionally, I can't really sense the bound mana inside of a living being as [Mana Sense], just like eyesight or hearing, is more of a passive sense.
Though even if that is the case, I think that the chances of that actually being the case are incredibly low.
I think I've also somewhat been able to figure out the skill [Space Magic]. The name is certainly misleading, maybe an error in translation? I can't say. What I know for certain though is that [Space Magic] is a supportive skill through and through. What it does is basically ease the affection and manipulation of space through mana. It's like a tool for working with space.

Through experimentation with this I've actually made some groundbreaking discoveries for myself. The probably most useful thing I'm currently able to do is mutating some of my bound mana to emulate effects similar to gravity. This type of gravity doesn't affect the real plane and instead only interacts with mana. By clustering a lot of such modified mana together, I've basically built something like a mana vacuum.
Because the attracted mana quickly gets collected by my mana heart and core system, the mana density around me atarts sinking rapidly. However, because of the concentration gradient of mana, diffusion quickly brings the surrounding mana to refill the depleted region. Since this can happen continuously, I can quickly absorb vast amounts of mana without much of a problem.
Another good thing about [Space Magic], since it allows me to affect space a lot more efficiently than without, I was able to bend the space inside of my mana core to store far greater amounts of mana than before. Since all I really had to do was mutate the mana crystalized as the core to have emulated 'weight' in the mana plane, the mana core can now serve as reservoir and attractor at the same time. Truly genius if I may say so myself.
From what I've heard, the highest level someone ever reportedly achieved in a skill was [Blacksmithing Lv. 9]. That guy, Terrion Avongale, was hailed as the god of forging and was apparently the founder of the kingdom I'm currently in. The grandfather of the current king.
My [Mana Core] is about to reach Level 15. Well, I'm probably no good at blacksmithing, though. I don't even want to try, probably takes some serious dedication. I do however want to check out some of the stuff he made. From what the people say, he made some pretty impressive stuff. Some of his creations were even hailed as divine relics, though not much information is publicly available.
The current king is said to possess one of his best creations, something like a holy sword. Apparently. Well it's probably just a good sword, nothing divine about it. If he truly could forge divine relics just like that I would have long since ascended to godhood.
Well, If gods even exist in this place. Eventhough the 'System' does certainly give that impression, it looks more like some kind of automatic system and not a some superconsciousness. Maybe it's both, who can say? I certainly can't, at least not yet.
