after i finished the story, the room was quiet.
the only noise was the faint squeaks of the fan overhead, the led light glowing a slight yellow, that made the room with the chair seem all the more unwelcoming.
collin's pudgy face had a terrified expression hidden under the flabby skin. his police cap covered his wavy blonde hair, but his hazel eyes widened under the bright locks, as I grinned at the window.
"well, there ya go. I told ya. she's swimming with the fishes. actualley the ducks, but you get the idea. heh heh...."
the fan clicked over and over, rotating quickly overhead, the small strand of metal swishing about as the wind jiggles it around.
the speaker squeaked, and only soft mumbles came through.
whispers.
rumors.
finally, when a voice came through, it stuttered and was shaky.
"w-w-we are g-going to do a t-test now."
"a test, huh? how... intriguing."
a gulp came from collins as he slowly left the room, closing the door behind him, a loud click of the door connecting to the wall bounced around the room.

the lights turned off, and I sat in the chair, my broad yellow smile still in place, as my pupils adjusted to the new shadows that danced around me.
what kind of test would it be?
a slideshow of previous murders?
a good ole' right from wrong video?
the speakers screamed again, and this time...
i heard rain...
rain rain rain rain....
god did I hate rain.
drip drop trickle trickle.
plop plop plop.
my smile turned into a deep cavernous frown, as I looked back at them form the chair, eyes glaring into theirs, though I couldn't see past the black tint.
drip drip drip plop.
" WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS..."
drip drip drip.
i stood from my chair, my hands twisted into knots, fingers intertwining with one another, morphing into fists.
my wild hair seemed to cover my veiw, but i could still see clearly.
i saw collins slowly come back in, both afriad but ready to pounce.
i looked at him, and grinned agian tilting my head backwards to him.
"collins dear boy. mind coming over here?"
he shook his head, but then heard a staticy call from the men behind the glass to come fowards, and hesitantly placed a leather shoe towards me.
"thats a good man. do you hear that?"
he nodded, placing another foot foward.
"aww yes. that trickle of mother nature's tears. the RAIN."
he nodded agian, taking two more steps across the room.
"do you know what pisses me off collins? do ya'?"
he shook his head, and stopped moving.
i pointed a finger up to teh speaker and grinned.
"THE MOTHER EFFING rain, collins. its like a reminder. and i HATE reminders."
i lunged at him, a smile so bright, it lit up the area around me.
he grasped at my hands, which were now around his neck, shaking his layers of chin.
" DRIP DRIP DRIP COLLINS!!! DO YOU HEAR IT!!??"
and with that, i moved around his shoulsers, and snapped his neck.
a sick sharp crackle that sounded like thunder.
thunder and rain. thunder and rain.
i heard his heart slowly stop, and his eyes closed, his weight going to the floor.
"drip drip drip collins.... listen to the rain...."
