Now it was all starting to make sense.The High pay, the intellect requirements , the close combat test for gods sake. I should have known there was a reason I didn’t see many messengers walking about the streets .
They all prolly flipping died! What the hells was this man thinking, having me deliver fairy dust and then go to the demon realm . This shit was blasphemous!
God dang it ! I kicked a pole and walked away huffing as it ring and shook. I was gonna get eaten by a demon or something.
‘They're not that bad human.’
I jumped and almost looked around before I remembered. ‘Willow .’ I thought , ‘you scared me man. ‘
‘Hmmmm’ The creature thought back. ‘You seem to have a strange prejudice against demons, why is this ?’

‘Was this guy being serious .’

‘Got damn it Willow it's creepy that you can do that . ‘
‘It’s not my fault you don’t know how to use parallel thought human , you could easily keep thoughts separate from me if you could . ‘
I slowed down my walk and thought back curiously. ‘ What’s parallel thought ?’
‘Hmmm . If you don’t know of it then banish the thought , it probably isn’t time yet. ‘
‘Time for what?’
‘Never mind that , we were talking of demons , why is it that you border such hatred against them? ‘
‘What do you mean ?’ I clasped my hands behind my head and leaned back a little . ‘Everyone knows demons are crazy , they wipe out whole races , they plunder , they just destroyed a city the other day. C’mon man, they gotta be crazy .’
Willow was quiet for a second . ‘ I don’t suppose the religion of the Two Suns is prominent here ?’
‘I’m surprised you know the name .’
‘It tends to carry. ‘ The spirit said flatly . Then he continued. ‘I’d advise you to meet these demons though. It’s best not to hate the idea of something.’
‘Hate the idea of something. ‘ I let the thought bounce in my head for a while ,my memory flashing to the days I had nothing and the looks I had received as a young coin snatcher .
Maybe he was right .
‘Hey Willow , where have you been anyway ? You’ve been real quiet out here . ‘
‘We agreed there would be maidens boy , there hasn’t been any , hence you haven’t heard word . ‘
‘, I guess that makes sense .’ I rolled the thought over . ‘ Then what made you wanna speak now ? ‘
‘The spirit went quiet for a little while. ‘So you haven’t noticed.’ He spoke finally.
‘Noticed what willow?’ I asked back curiously.
‘Your being hunted.’
