"Let go! Release me!" Evelyn struggled. She glared sharply at Alonzo. "Listen, Alonzo! Even though you're the Demon King, you shouldn't be imprisoning whoever you want. As a King, your behavior is utterly outrageous!" In her heart, Evelyn cursed, regretting having said that Alonzo was handsome.
But Alonzo didn't care. As Eliot and Evelyn were taken away from his throne, green smoke billowed from his body until it collapsed. In his state, he looked up at the smoke now seated in his grand chair. "Once again, you've used me as a King! After this, the fairy folk won't stay silent."
"That's what I want, Alonzo. I enjoy warfare, and as a demon, you should too."
This time, Alonzo truly felt defeated. Unable to control his own body because it was bound by dark forces from who knows where.
He could only hope for a miracle and for everyone to finally realize that the King known throughout the universe had his body taken over by darkness.
"Let go of me! Hey, that hurts!" Evelyn continued to struggle, but escaping felt futile. Eliot's condition was not good. It was impossible for him to escape alone. Plus, he still didn't know where the portal back to Elvendria was.
The girl looked at the man being dragged beside her. "This is what happens when you don't listen to me. I told you not to deal with that demon!"
"Do we have a choice?" Eliot looked at Evelyn with a melancholic gaze. His energy seemed drained now.
"But we can escape, resist before ultimately getting captured like this in vain."
"Even if we manage to escape and flee, it will be difficult for us to find Darius and Isaura later. Besides, we don't know the fairy realm portal. We'll just end up trapped in this demon realm."
"Yes, we'll be trapped in Demonhold, but not as prisoners," Evelyn ended this debate. She felt like tearing Eliot apart for his foolish decision to meet with Alonzo.
They were thrown into the prison after arriving. One of the soldiers locked their cell. Then Evelyn grabbed the iron bars and banged on them hard. "Hey, come back! Don't go! Get us out of here!"
But to no avail, the soldier seemed like a robot. Not speaking at all, which infuriated Evelyn. She then decided to sit down and lean against the wall.
After this, who knows what will happen next. No one knows that they are trapped in the demon world. Then how will they get help from the fairy world?

Turning to the side, Eliot suddenly realized that this prison consisted of two rooms separated by iron bars. And more surprisingly, inside, there was Isaura who was closing her eyes while hugging her knees, with Darius and-- a wolf?
Eliot rose and walked closer to the dividing bars. "Evelyn! It's them! Darius and Isaura," he exclaimed excitedly.
Evelyn, seeing this, also approached. Her lips, which were lifted before, turned to panic when she saw Darius in a dying state. She tried to reach the elf but couldn't. "Darius! Darius, wake up!"
"I think he's lost a lot of strength," murmured Eliot, also concerned about Darius's condition.
Almost desperate, Evelyn suddenly looked up and turned to Isaura, who still seemed asleep. "Isaura! Isaura! Hey, are you listening?"
The wizard blinked when Evelyn called her several times. She looked surprised to find her other two friends beside her cage. "Evelyn, Eliot, you made it here?"
Eliot nodded. Isaura was now behind the bars. The three of them could chat up close. Quickly, Evelyn handed Isaura a brown pouch tied to her waist. "Isaura, give this to Darius."
"What's this?"
"Holy powder. Darius needs to swallow this to survive in Demonhold," Evelyn explained.
This raised questions in Isaura's and Eliot's minds. The elf looked at Evelyn. "Where did you get this powder? And how do you know that Darius will survive after swallowing it?"
Isaura did the same, looking at Evelyn intently. But the fire fairy shook her head. "I got it from Elder Carlos. He knows that among the four of us, Darius's soul is the weakest. He always entrusted me with this powder to give to Darius every time we went on a mission."
"If this is for Darius's protection, why not give it to him directly?" Isaura asked this time. She still felt something was off.
This made Evelyn sigh. "That's because Darius never knows when he'll enter the demon world."
Isaura nodded in understanding. She then approached Darius and gave him the powder. After Darius swallowed it, his eyes began to open.
The long-haired elf looked around. "Isaura, what did I just swallow?"
"Holy powder, Darius. You have to get used to swallowing it every time before going on a mission," Evelyn answered first. She blinked a few times, making Darius understand.
"Thank you, Evelyn. But what happened to you guys? Why are you here too?" Darius asked.
"We're looking for you, of course. But after getting here, I feel like we not only found you but also the reason why we have to be trapped here," Eliot explained. His eyes focused on a wolf closing its eyes.
"Where's his other tail? Isn't Xander a wolf with three tails?" Eliot asked in surprise.
The four pairs of eyes turned. Isaura, feeling better now, walked over to the wolf. She focused her mind and used magic to heal Xander.
This made the three fairies open their mouths in surprise. "How can she use her magic?" Eliot asked his two friends.
"Isaura's magic is full, not just half like the shapeshifters," Evelyn added.
Meanwhile, Darius remained silent. He was busy watching Isaura treat Xander. After a while, the wolf transformed into a prince dressed in red.
He blinked and was surprised to find many people in his cell. He looked at each of them. But all his surprise vanished when he saw Isaura in front of him. "You're Isaura, right?" Isaura nodded hesitantly. Because Xander's expression was really like someone who was in extreme panic.
Xander suddenly sat up and looked at Isaura seriously. "Listen to me carefully. He's not Alonzo, he's not our Demon King. There's a dark power that entered his soul and took over his body. And most importantly, that power is after your staff, Isaura."
